I haven't read over the variant rules but I will tonight and let you know if I am in or not.

Check out Oblivion's action system. If only it had mounted combat I'd be in heaven. I imagine someone will script mounted combat via a mod, or it will be added via expansion. Mount and Blade already has great combat, including mounted combat.

Not true. The XBox uses the HDD to cache date with all of its games to improve performance. Epiphany has been touting that as a major advantage for the XBox 360.

Foxconn makes all the motherboards for HP, as well as the HP laptops. They also make most of the components on HP servers. All get rock solid reviews. That mobo I got is likely bad, but I got a great package with the mobo. It has the biggest manual I've ever seen for a mobo, a floppy disk with RAID drivers, tons of connectors, and the most feature rich BIOS I have ever seen. There is something to be said for that. It is also a very inexpensive mobo that offers firewire, and the NForce 4 Ultra chipset which rocks all around. It is my favorite chipset aside from SLI.

I've travelled quite a bit around this country but lived about half my life out on the west coast (Vegas, Reno, Inland Empire, Orange County, San Diego) and half in Nebraska. There are things I miss about San Diego especially but I like Omaha actually.

I only have problems with my own rig. Building your own rig generally isn't a problem, but save your boxes. Worst case scenario you return everything. On the whole you usually save money and get exactly the parts you want. Definately go with a Socket 939 Motherboard, an Athlon 64 CPU (Venice core is likely the way to go), 1 gig of dual-channel PC3200 and a nice video card.
