What happened is that authors like Kevin J. Andersen covered up Lucas' blunder after-the-fact by explaining it.

I'm playing through as a Dark Side female now, and the Carth romance makes no sense what-so-ever. Carth is upstanding, and here I slaughter people, tell him to shove it, and he keeps hitting on me.

I'd rather the Revan not be a factor in the game at all. This is a new story, and it centers on the new PC. If Revan is around, what stops him/her from being the deciding factor in galactic politics? I'd rather that Revan be preoccupied with other matters, or die off-camera doing something important.

This thread scares me.

This game was far too easy. There is no need for cheats and exploits.

It's not the game's fault. The game is based off the Knights of the Old Republic comics, and the technology is different if you pay attention.

Well, LucasArts was already working on KOTOR:3, so I think it's logically possible.

I just noticed that I am Level 6, where I was Level 5 before. I don't think I hit any particular milestone in post count. I assumed that Level 5 was the cap before. I say let's ditch the silly "level" system which seems to reward high post-counts and bring back the custom titles!

That depends. If you go to the Asus website, you have to select where you are. You can select Asia, Europe, North America, or Kanadia. I kid you not.

I don't know any yuppies who play MMO's. When I was down in San Diego, I had a lot of friends who worked tech support for Evercrack, and they told me stories all the time. It seemed that 15-25 seemed to be the main age range for MMO players.

I'm curious how they will cater to 3.5 rules in a real-time setting.

I'm not one for FPS games. But a buddy and mine hosted a Half-Life server for a while anyway. So, people logged on, and I hopped in, even though I was an easy kill. But I decided to have fun. So I only used the crowbar, even if paired up against automatic weapons and rocket-launchers. And my player model was that of Bert, from Sesame Street. This one player logged onto the server, saw a giant yellow muppet chasing him with a crowbar and totally flipped out. He started screaming into his headset, "get away from me you lazy-eyed freak!" It totally made my day.

That was quick! Good job fixing the problem so expeditiously.

Many of these ideas we were already implementing. Either way, I intend to pretty much implement all of them currently.

Since so many websites use Explorer-specific tags, I like to use a browser called Maxthon (formerly known as MYIE2) It runs like IE for browser-specific tags, but has all the features of Mozilla and then some. I've tried a lot of different browsers, and Maxthon is probably the most stable and feature-rich.

The problem with that scene is that it goes against Film Making 101. Instead of telling Padme he killed the whole village, we should have seen it. It's nice to see the emotional reaction afterwards, but it was weak to skip the actual slaughter. Show, don't tell.
