  1. Thanks for all the support. And what can I say, I'm a lucky guy.
  2. Rereading this thread, I noticed that Volourn mentioned Jersey Girl. This movie got passed over by most people because it had J-Lo and Ben Affeck. But what people don't know is that this is a REALLY GOOD movie. I think there are only two movies I've ever seen that have both made my laugh and cry in one sitting. The first is Life is Beautiful. The second is Jersey Girl. I assure you that J-Lo dies early on, and Ben Affleck is actually quite enjoyable when given a good script. Too bad he picks up a lot of bad scripts.
  3. I am beginning to think LA printed the discs poorly.
  4. What you're asking for can be accomplished to a sense, but would be very difficult and complex. I think the influence system is 5 steps in the right direction.
  5. Revan was whatever you imagined him/her to be. Other than that, Revan had no character.
  6. I'd say the most powerful is Affect Mind. My girlfriend seems to be quite adept at using it on me.
  7. That requires money. As such, that decision rests with LucasArts. I wish we could send a bunch of emails to LucasArts and echo our frustrations there instead of here.
  8. I had that problem. Then I cleaned the optics of my DVD player. Now it loads every time. Doing this voids the warranty of your XBox, but if your XBox is a year old, it's gone anyways. If you have any desire to try and clean your XBox, I can point you to some good tutorials like Llama's. http://www.llamma.com/xbox/ It's a good site for XBox maintenance and modding that doesn't focus on piracy.
  9. I doubt their publisher's contract will allow for that.
  10. Fair enough. Spiderman 2 was one of my favorite movies of the year, yet no one is going to nominate it for anything. Summer Blockbusters don't qualify as good films, even when they are good because, well, it would upset the balance of the universe.
  11. Multiplayer games are a very different beast. You can't tell a personal story like this in multiplayer.
  12. Akari told Bastilla_Skywalker as such in a PM. Akari is pretty reputable. He's been very upfront about the project since day 1.
  13. Don't give into anger. That leads to the Dark Side.
  14. Too bad Atton wears them. I think Mr. Avellone had a certain fascination with that character.
  15. Peragus was good for what it was. I'm on Telos now, and I haven't seen much of the game yet. In KOTOR:1, Taris was the only world of size or substance. Manaan's city was boring, but I dug the underwater aspect. Tatooine is just Tatooine. It doesn't take any ingenuity to design what we've seen a million times. Dantooine was nice, but again, nothing spectacular. Korriban didn't have incredible visuals either, but was the best world for roleplay purposes.
  16. It would be nice. I should send off my registration card. If they do release new discs, I'm sure it will only be to people who registered the game.
  17. Dominate Mind. I can still be a Light Sider and dominate people.
  18. That wasn't Obsidian's call. LucasArts determined the release date and set deadlines for Obsidian. There is no reason to believe the Bioware would have done better with the same timeframe. However, Obsidian made many improvements from Bioware's design. Gameplay is greatly improved with the lightsaber customization, better skill implementation, new workbench, more dialogue options via skills, etc. Bioware made a rather simplistic KOTOR game. I think if Obsidian was given ample time they can make an incredible KOTOR game.
  19. It had it's moments, but the Wookie uprising and space battle in the skies of Coruscant would have been nice.
  20. A color Etch-A-Sketch should suffice.
  21. I've been way off topic all day long. As far as KOTOR:3's story, I think it largely depends on who writes it. KOTOR:1 was very black and white. KOTOR:2 is a bit more philisophical. Very early on it is suggested in KOTOR:2 that the events of KOTOR:1 were a smoke-screen. The story isn't necessarily a perfect logical progression. I don't think KOTOR:2 is what Bioware would have written, or had in mind. Until we know who is making KOTOR:3, it will be quite difficult to figure out what type of story we'll get, and how much of a continuation of previous story lines we'll see.
  22. Don't mind the pigeons.
