  1. I wanted to start a Dead Kennedy's tribute band. We'd be hard core punk. And we'd call ourselves the Ted Kennedy's. We'd wear a suit and tie. We'd have a gin and tonic in hand, and we'd wear no pants. That's punk.
  2. I used to make the Monster-TJ burger when I worked at Old Chicago. 1/2 pound of Grade A Sirloin burger. Extra Pepper-Jack cheese Extra bacon Lettuce Tomato BBQ sauce Occasionally I'd throw on jalepenos.
  3. Well, since I did poorly on exp and gold my first day (lost over 156 gold when I died the first time), I needed to gamble on a chance to improve my character. Yours was the only character I could fight. I also missed out on a few turns due to a few forest events, and being in low spirits. Somedays you have good turns, and some days you have bad turns. I just had a bad turn. I don't expect you to tweak the game because of it. I may put LoGD up on my new website enderandrew.com (forthcoming).
  4. You're going to get Sarah started. She loves Marmite. And she imports some for her British father stuck here in the states all the time.
  5. Marmite is a British thing, and it's not bad. I tastes very unique. It's like a meat jam/spread.
  6. I have no clue what a crisp sandwich is.
  7. Yeah, but I also had problems with the forest fights. That's not your fault. I've played LoGD before. I just got unlucky. I barely beat the forest fights at level 1, despite upgrading my weapon and armor. And then I leveled up, and couldn't fight against level 2 monsters at all. I did attack your character, but we were both level 2. And you were the only PC I could attack.
  8. Our house was built in the 20s, and I'm pretty sure it's real wood.
  9. I switch avatars all the time. Mine at the monent is just something random I came across that was small enough to fit within the guidelines here.
  10. I bought armor right off the bat. And I bought a weapon as soon as I could afford it. I think I just run into some really bad luck, because I nearly died in every forest fight none the less. And I don't mind Legend of the Green Dragon's style, because I liked LoRD.
  11. BG:DA horribly disappointed me. But I did replay it with a friend on multiplayer, and that was better. I bought the game for like $10-$15 used at Hollywood video. So that was nice. I have no intention to pick up BG:DA2. And I had no idea X-Men Legends was a DA clone until I played it.
  12. There already is a racing mini-game.
  13. X-Men Legends can be beat in about 15 hours. And BG:DA may be about 12 hours. You can replay on the harder difficulty once you unlock it, and then you can unlock a certain Drow Ranger as a playable character after that.
  14. My handle/nickname is the game of the main character in Ender's Game. Whether or not said character is the protagonist is somewhat debatable in some eyes. He is a hero who commits atrocity unknowingly. It is a book about dual natures, leadership, love, war and everything inbetween.
  15. 95% of our house is hard wood flooring. I wouldn't mind some tile or linoleum in the kitchen, however. The carpet must go.
  16. My interest in NWN is the fact that Obsidian is developing it. I have more interest in using Oblivion's upcoming toolset than I do NWN:2's toolset, unless NNW:2 faitfhfully recreates the rules. And I have seen nothing to suggest that NWN:2 will do as such.
  17. I thought someone made a mod for a Juhani romance.
  18. KOTOR had a cinematic ending. What did it provide? What did we learn? I got absolutely no closure from it. Malak is dead. Great.
  19. "Are you Magnolia_Fan?" Sorry, I had to.
  20. KOTOR:1's ending was a joke. And in general, I like endings that leave me waiting and wondering. Has anyone here played Ultima 7 and Ultima 7: Part 2? The ending to Part 2 was great.
  21. I prefer the journey. Even if the ending to KOTOR:2 is poor, I'm still enjoying the game.
  22. Yeah, I'd like to see this. LucasArts laid off most of their staff, and admitted that the KOTOR:3 team was part of the people laid off. Akari said that no one is working on KOTOR:3.
  23. Bright Eyes? I have no clue how they got famous. They've never put on a show in Omaha, but they got on Letterman twice as a band from Omaha. Not a single radio station in Omaha will play their music, and most people in the scene think they are a complete joke. There are so many great bands in this town, but the guys at Saddlecreek records have some connections, so all their bands get immediate national attention. Now, Azure Ray is another story. That's a good band that Saddlecreek pimps out.
  24. I really want to pick up one of his books.
  25. Volourn. You're absolutely full of it. I've read the books. There is no clear cut way to determine what spell goes at what level. Morrowind has millions of spells. In D&D, you have 1700 spells. The slot system is far from the best system. If it was the best, people wouldn't bitch about it all the time. Normally, I wouldn't bother to argue with you, because you're a troll. But you're neither right nor amusing here. You're just propogating poorly founded opinions, and unfactual information.
