Well, I think Hades likes to complain (and get into debates where he humiliates his opponents). But he's also got good points and has valid concerns. Well most of the time he's on topic... That's gotta count for something.

Well, I'm honestly not sure if the gains balance the loss. I mean, the writing is often better...but it's not SW as much anymore... Could you give an example? And don't worry about spoilers,least for me,most of the big ones I know all ready. either way, they need to split up the series better. How many books in that one series have there been LOL. I think both are right actually some time. Trolling to me is making pointless post with intent to piss people off. That isn't what he's doing really. Now he seems to to have a lot of fun with his posts(and with some individuals) but he's still just expressing his POV on the game like anyone else. So hades was the one that you said some sorta agreed with. and others thought was insane. Correct. I actually really love playing devil's advocate. That's one reason I disagreed with Hades so much (and better than anyone else has done recently). I actually sorta agreed with him all along. Man, hades was pretty good at debating. Alot of people trying to take me on recently don't do so well though... Heh,this little topic as I've said has been fun to watch.

Hmm,yeah that's something I've heard a lot from the people who have probs with the series. Good stories for the most part but lacking in the SW feel. Which is kind of important.

Depends,what group are you asking about? From things I've seen I'm to guess you agree with him but won't judge the game on the issue. Which would be where I fit in,he has a point but I'm not going let something like that ruin the game or even bother me for the most part. Others seem to think he's just trolling for expressing his POV on the subject.

yah I've been a SW fan since I could understand the movies. I actually feel like the new movies have disgraced the series. I turn to the books. I've got most of the books that run from the OT through the last two Zahn wrote before the NJO. I love those,haven't touched the NJO. At first it was because for a number of different reasons I didn't have the time to read and the money to buy them. After gaining both I did a little research on them to find out what order they came in and found out a few spoilers and such about them. Didn't care for a few of the directions they took the things. I 've heard mixed reviews about the series some love 'em and others hate 'em. Personal taste coming into play again. You more a fan of the NJO or the older style?

Heh,this whole debate has run into the brick wall known as "personal/individual taste." To Hades the game mechanics and the story matching up is not only important but it's important enough to have an effect on how he judges the game. Some agree with the points he's bringing up but don't feel it's as important as he does and as such are not going to judge the game on something like that. Others disagree with it completely and think he's off his rocker. Interesting to watch...

Yah, I'm tired, and my vocabulary is running really low. What should I have said? I know middle aged. My bad. Really, I am sorry. Heh,no need to say you're sorry. They don't come in here and even if they did they couldn'd/wouldn't do anything. I've been a SW fan since I was in diapers and part of me finds it kind of sad how much the new movies have divided the fans. But at the same when you're dealing with personal taste it's going to happen. If he'd made the new movies in 86 and ran them then there might not have been the problems. Meh,but that's just my opinion so who knows.

It's not just elderly people. Myself and virtually all my peers (I'm 15) feel ep 1 is for 8 year olds and ep 2 is a pathetic excuse for a romane, but has a couple cool fighting scenes. Wasn't saying that is 100% that way. Just pointing out that there are those that feel the OT is just as much a kids movie as the new ones. *LOL*And I think the people I know would be very upset at you calling them elderly,though I find it funny as hell.

Or hunting out the last of the jedi. I don't think that would work as well if you're trying to take on the Sith. You'd want other people who could use the Force to help,you could always kill them later. So you'd pry try and get their help if the won't then you could kill them off.

Well, the newer ones seem to appeal to a different type. Episode 1 is largely a litle kid's movie (punctuated too infrequently with what I consider good stuff). Episode 2 is an action/romance with a different style than episodes 4-6. I know a few people that call the OT nothing but kids movies as well. They're all in their late 40's early 50's so in part age comes into play I guess. Ep1 had it's childish moments but the same could be said for ANH and has by some of the people I know. It's true that he added some things that were some what childish and pry could have been done without but the main plot followed pretty damn close to the path ANH took. Small threat that needs to be taken care of,said threat is then taken care of but the over all threat is still out there. One of the main difference between Ep1 and ANH is with ANH you didn't know there would be any movies like you did with TPM. Empire was a romance in part,but that was more of a side story.In Ep2 it took more an up front role but that's to help set up the L twins being born. Understandable,at least to me,why that was part of the main focus of that movie.

Anyone else think that a good part of the game will be seeking out jedi who are still alive, and banding them together to help you? That means that you probably (as much as I dislike it) search for Revan. Or at least gather clues through datapads and the like. I swear to God if I hear "Gotta getch 'em all" in there one time... But on a serious note,sounds possible. Either trying to find them to band together or perhaps trying to find something to give them hope that they can in fact beat the sith and bring them out on their own. That would be LS. If DS,pry just looking for a group of people tackle the current Sith leaders to take their place.

Yah. I think that the new trilogy seems to be for a different audience and generation than the original trilogy. To a point I agree with you there. I think Lucas waited WAY too long to make the new movies. I don't think it was created for a new generation,I think he took the new generation into account and created something that a lot of the fans of the original 3 didn't like. A lot of people have said that he "forgot" about the original fans,I honestly didn't see that. He tried to hard too blend two styles and it didn't work for a lot of people. When you wait as long as he did between the set of movies it's a situation that's kind of hard to avoid.

The person has cut themself off from the force. Other people have lost it (temporary or permanant). Ulic, Mara, Kyle, Jason (more like he lost his faith in the force)...ect... The point you make is a good one,I get the feeling though that because they're all EU characters not everyone knows who they are or their exact stories.

Well I thought the prequels were awful. They turned the greatest Sci-Fi movie series into a show for 5-8 year olds (at least episode 1 did). I thought Episode 2 was one of the most over acted movies. The story was good, but anakin (and sometimes padme) almost got me to cry...in dissapointment. I like the prequels. They aren't blasphemous slaps in the face to the OT. Some people need to calm down. Lets not make this the Catholic curch or anything. But I must agree, the worst thing George Lucas has ever done is make Greedo fire first. As I said before,can't please everyone all of the time. With any type of entertainment personal taste is going to come into play. It's sad in away that the new movies have some what devided what was at one point a rather close group, that being "Star wars geeks". Nothing going to change that now I guess.

I think it would be cool if you could fall in love with any npc. Agreed for the most part. Even the aliens. Same as above. And maybe a droid; like that lady on Dantooine. ..er.. Whatever floats your boat I guess...

I think snow might show up in the game at some point,might not be an ice planet like Hoth though. Would be something different considering there wasn't anything like that in Knights.
