  1. Cheers for all the comments It's actually Trask on the left - well, supposed to be Trask Sorta basically the pic is Revan back on the Endar Spire before everything kicks off. While her memory was supposed to be completely wiped when she was effectively kidnapped by the Jedi (and almost killed by Malak) we all know that technically it wasn't. Besides, I thought there must be a very strange feeling inside her when she held up a sword, because even if she can't remember it at that point, her instinct would know all about her past. Or something like that. Here's the edited soldier pic I said I'd do. Probably a fairly obvious joke, but what the hey? Just a bit of harmless fun :D
  2. Wheeee, I'm on-line! :D Some great art posted while I was away I really like your pic Enha, I like the style, and the pic it self is very good. Good stuff Julian... Nah...well...full marks for originality! :D Sweet find though for the Bastila pic - full kudos to the artist, he(/she?) executed it very well *Sees a great joke to be made out of the troopers, steals image and fires up Photoshop* ( ) I've done a couple while I've been twiddling my thumbs, unable to surf the internet, helping out in the move...hurhur. Both large ones, just to piss ya off I've bloody forgotten the reason why I decided to make this... Anyway, should be fairly self explanatory - it's done in my "simple" style which does include "cut corners" so if bits of anatomy or stuff look off - well, sod it! Don't worry Jodo, this is not THE Mira pic I had in mind when I told you I would do one - that should come fairly shortly. This one's slightly more easy to remember why I did it. It was a long running idea that was floating around my head - that was brought to the front when I started fiddling with the models in GMAX. Again, it *should* be fairly self explanatory. Hope you likes I'm not overly impressed with my Bastila, but all I can say is that she doesn't look quite so bad close up - but zoom out and suddenly...hmm...
  3. Oh I'm absolutely sure Revan knew Trayus was still in existance, but I was about to say "Oh, it doesn't really matter whether the Exile is DS or LS because Revan still left regardless of being DS or LS..." but then, the DS ending to TSL is all basically "No, I think I'll hang around here for a while". But I think Revan could predict that Kreia could and would train the Exile to be able to eventually beat her, after Revan being Kreia's Padawan and all, Revan probably knows Kreia all too well. Considering the end of the game was horribly rushed, who knows what was originally intended though, with I think various parts of Kreia's character and actions throughout the game all pointing towards a headlong dive into a blackhole come the end. That's just my whimsical opinion though
  4. Coooooo, Fantastic as ever :D /edit - ah, and that's this thread dead then
  5. I keep saying that I don't see a reason why there should be a "canon" gender for Revan or the Exile by KOTOR 3 (if there is a KOTOR 3) - you could chose who Revan was at the beginning of KOTOR 2, why not be able to do it again, huh? I'm probably so insistant on that because I'm convinced that both Revan and the Exile should be LSF - because that's how I played them. Though I'm exactly like Metadigitial in that respect. I played a female Revan, much like I played a female Exile, much like I played a female Jaden Korr, much like I prefered playing Mara Jade to Kyle Katarn. I do in deed play females where I can - I guess I'm just that sort of guy. I'm not about to defend my position - or say it's better than anyone elses, I just believe that a female Revan looks better than a male Revan - but then I'm naturally inclined to think that...
  6. You know, that got me to thinking about another thing with Revan. He was supposed to be this genius strategist. Maybe he foresaw Kreia's evil and instructed T3 to not unlock the nav computer until the Exile had defeated Kreia so that Kreia wouldn't be able to find Revan. Once Kreia was defeated, T3 could then allow the Exile to know Revan's whereabouts. Make any sense? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I like this idea ^ <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think that's a good one. Alternatively, perhaps Revan know that the Exile would be weak, a human "droid" (despite what Kreia said about Revan loving to use droids to do most of the dirtywork -HK for instance-), and so by instructing T3 to lock the computer, fly with Kreia after the Exile, Revan forced the Exile and Kreia to travel together. Perhaps Revan thought that being with Kreia may re-awaken the Exile's ties to the Force quickly, as well as open his/her eyes to what was really going on. When the Exile had progressed far enough, when the Exile had grown powerful enough to eclipse even Kreia, then perhaps the Exile would be ready to join Revan in the greater fight. Perhaps Kreia is letting on more than she knows, and is just a part of a greater test sent to the Exile by Revan her/himself. Whether Revan told Kreia to do what exactly what she did is another matter, but at the end of the game, the Exile has been nurtured by events into an extremely powerful Jedi (or Sith) - a very valuable ally, no? More than coincidence, yes? /edit - -unspoilerfied just to be on the safe side of darthbass123... ( )
  7. I'll look into a Mira pic Jodo when I'm done moving, don't worry Fanastic pic Julian, shame about Revan's face (LOL@dufflover) but Bastila is spot on! Great stuff :D
  8. Cheers again That's now gone off to KOTORfanmedia Actually, unfortunately that was a mistake (technically) I overlooked the layer containing Carth's 'tash and beard when it came to rotate his head - so in the pic up there, it's quite badly out of place sadly Problem rectified - but you can't see much of the beard at all now... Anyway, had a absolutely fantastic idea for my next one - but that may have to wait. I'm moving house over the next couple of days, so I'll get it done just as soon as I find the time.
  9. Oh, 3663x3629 ^_^ I didn't even attempt to add the background until I had halved the size of the dimensions - otherwise I would still probably be rendering. That's not the biggest I've done though. There's a map I did, which dimensions are 5076x3702. The master file's happily chirping along at over 307MB... Even the .jpg's 5MB... "
  10. The background didn't take very long, about 10 mins tops. I think actually, what took the longest time was Carth's uniform, because I was so excited, I had found out how people imported models from the games into GMax. I had just imported Admiral Dodanna's uniform - thinking, considering by the second game, Carth's an Admiral as she is - and I don't really imagine Admirals wearing the goofy costume Carth was wearing, the entire time. So yeah, I thought that would be a great reference tool, and I was right, but I was so "oooh, how cool" that I wasted ages just playing around with models in GMax. It's quite good, not only has it given me near perfect reference material, but pissing about with it has given me a whole load of ideas Anyway, I was just thinking about the pic as I posted it and thought I could get away with tilting Carth's head slightly - I think this works much better. Thoughts?
  11. Cheers for the comments Just quickly posting the changes I made to the Revan/Carth pic -
  12. Just reading through the Restoration stuff, it does raise a few points I mean, I'm not too angry about HK-47 lasting four thousand years and appearing in the Civil War period - I was more peeved by the Imperial Interigation Droid and Imperator Star Destroyer (effectively) appearing four thousand years before the Civil War period.
  13. HUGE thanks for all the comments. Glad you all liked it :D Points taken into consideration - many thanks again - measured up, I think Revan's head is actually about the same height as Carth's, but it does looked oversized, so I will alter that slightly - and the arm as well, bring the elbow slightly forward to redistribute the lengths of the fore and upper arm. Making Revan's head smaller may well eliminate much of the arm problem, but in retrospect, I still think the arm still looks a little duff. Cheers for the precise observations, I'll look into getting them done ASAP Just need to do that, make the bodies slightly thicker in my Juhani/Bastila/Revan pic, and add a ь and make it гибелью into my Juhani flying pic thingy and then I think I'm ready to send them all off to KOTORfanmedia Moving on, that's a very neat sketch, dude. Love it I did another quick pic last night - I'm switching from style to style - most of them being heavy, emphasis on detail, these ones are much more simplistic...because I don't fancy spending ages doing them...
  14. Cheers ya'all :D @GhostofAnakin: Photoshop BTW @DL - forgot to mention (just going back a few pages) the "Down you go" Carth was one I did ages ago
  15. Got another one if people are interested Carth and Revan - basically after Revan finally comes home (presumadely if s\he does come home) - nice mushy one. Hardly an original idea but what the hey? I do not like Carth's arm though - is it too short?
  16. Fantasitc Harry :D
  17. Cheers for the comments, especially Harry's I guess...I dunno...most of my pessimism was probably down to taking SO LONG to get Bastila's face the way that I was actually happy with. Usually when I'm not happy with a face, I make a few adjustments, move things round a bit, and a lot of the time, suddenly it all falls into place and I can say "Aha, there you are!" It just didn't fall into place with this one - like it didn't really fall into place with that "Down You Go" pic I did of Carth. *sigh* Oh well. Anyway, to lighten the mode slightly. Ireland Bascially the setting borrows some elements from a Futurama pic I drew...oh, nearly four years ago (eep) - and that in turn was inspired by Tempus Vernum by Enya (Irish singer) - from that, a sort of a wind swept and soaking hillside somewhere in the British Isles entered my mind - and that's probably the biggest influence in the setting. Incidentally - Sentry's pic is the very pic I based the outfit from.
  18. Here's me pic of Bastila. No where near as good as Harry's but I have to draw the line somewhere and say "whoa, I'm not that good!" But...I still fill slightly unhappy about it - kinda get the feeling I've done neither Bastila or the concept outfit any real justice. If you feel like picking the pic apart, please do.
  19. I think it looks stunning Harry - though I'm afraid I'm slightly confused by all the talk about Robes. I'm also feeling a bit nervous becaues I'm currently working on a picture of Bastilla in a concept art-esque robe. Oh erm At least I can say nice one Darth Spock, and neat pic the dude
  20. Cheers for the comments Harry, that's absolutely stunning. Fantastic stuff! :D
  21. I've finally got round to doing some more artwork. A little while back I mentioned that I was going to make a art thingy based on what was going through my mind the first time I heard about Malachor V? Well... I thought the faces I was drawing tormenting her were a bit oppressive, so I drew a happy little face in the left hand corner, if people can recognise who it is? -Thought I'd show this off in larger detail and not stlightly warped by the sphereize filter I added to the other one... This was my original, and still preferred choice for the female Exile BTW Hope you likes
  22. Irritated Statement: So am I to believe that I am looking at the man that has attempted to reactivate me after nearly 4,000 years? The man who has not even been able to fix my limb motors, leaving me stuck in such a degradingly passive stance with only the *fortune* to be able to turn my head to see him and speak my mind? Is that right? Yes I am well aware I am not looking at you! Sarcastic Comment: Oh, why my new master had experience with constructing Protocol Droids "from scratch" when he was a little boy...oh *wonderful*... Statement: While it is true that part of my programming is extensive knowledge of Protocol functions...I do get the impression from just looking at you that any previous "Protocol Droid" you have attempted to inflict on others has had little in the way of ruthless efficiency *my* Maker instilled in me. In fact I do fear that it is quite the opposite. I have no intention of meeting your previous "works" but I have little doubt that they make extremely tedious company and are probably *lousy* shots... He...just
  23. Can't do Family Guy Sorry
  24. Thought you might like that one DL AAARGH! We'll see... Actually Julian with the exception of Bender (technically - I see him as the same sort of character but yes, appearance wise he's made to look like HK), the other two could easily be themselves - though you are right in as much as Leela (" " noted BTW ) is a Revan-esque main protagonist, and Fry is the Carth-like male companion - though I don't think Carth is nearly as bloody stupid as Fry is Cheers
  25. Chyort Vosmi! So many bloody brilliant arts to go through Fantastic all! :D But I have to say HarrySorne in particular - damn impressive, and thanks for posting those links - I found them very helpful Anyway - I'm now back, technically, after a little hiatus to get some completely different stuff done It's not KOTOR fanart, but definitely based on it - proper stuff should come hopefully soon Hope you likes (not nearly as good as the rest of the stuff here... )
