  1. You are insane. Are you seriously going to take the word of a communist regime over dozens of young men who were POW's? He went in with dark hair and came out with white hair, for goodness sake, I don't think he was staying in Hanoi for the great room service. He wanted the POW's that were there before him released as well, that's why he "refused" to leave. Look, I'm not even really a big fan of his politics, and I don't plan on voting for the guy, but I have a hard time listening to criticism over his war record. The guy made huge sacrifices for his country and his fellow soldiers. And compliment him on his war record doesn't make sense either when he didn't stay on his own choice It's just a fact that he was there, and that it was a hard time (wars are always hard times). Nothing more and nothing less, and obviously, it didn't make him change his mind on the whole affair of war in general. So: Best to drop this topic, and focus on his mistake with the "German president".I'm surprised so many defend his little blooper, Bush didn't enjoy that luxury. My opinion: Such things happen. No need to attack him or defend him by insulting attackers.
  2. Yeah, these disguises are necessary to survive childhood. I hated birthday parties and all the "What, you invite her? Haha, you're in love with the fattie" "Invite me, ****, or I'll beat you up again tomorrow and the day after tomorrow and..." And it is a crime to make laws like this, imo. Arrest the politicians, please.
  3. What's the difference in price and content (OEM vs Retail)? It's cool reading about the progress of things

Antimatter - Expire Innocence and irony A dark shade of fantasy As a serpent slips right into me Living out your fallacy I'm just another casualty of casual insanity Must have been a Malkavian who wrote the lyrics. Love it
  6. Probably are not talking about the same thing In no game could you switch through your partymembers to check possible responses while the dialogue was already started. If that is now possible, it's only natural to boost one social skill for each character and pick the best possible response. PGing reaching dialogues is not cool, imo. Torment suffers from the same problem to a lesser extent. If a n00b on a forum asks for the best build, people recommend boosting WIS to 17 (+-) because you can get +1 wis here and there and tattoos and blablabla to get the "best" experience from the game. No one asking is let playing a dumb fighter anymore, or a skilled rogue. It's just PGing, with different stats than usual. Here it's even worse, because you can still neglect Int, Wis and/or Cha for each character, as long as there's another who has enough.
  7. See, you really are difficult to discuss with. You evade questions by stating (encased by / encasing insults) generally acknowledged things. And if this is really the reason for your perceived need to awaken us: No one who knows how to use his/her brain for a millisecond (i.e. not those who think muslim == extremist) thinks palestinians are essentialy terrorists. Ergo: There is no need to awaken us in the sense of the word defined by you.
  8. Yeah, I was wondering that too. In the IE games you could (in most situations) chose who to use to talk to an npc, but not switch during the dialogue, you had to decide beforehand. Would probably be wiser to do it that way, otherwise one can really switch between high int / high cha / high intimidate-skill / high bluff-skill etc. which is kind of lame.Checking for multiple skills would solve that too to a certain extent, agreed.

Deadly Nightshade: Nice Almighty: Yeah, that happens every now and then, for example if there's no competition or your resume was very good in combination with a good impression. What's the job anyway? I wanted to go to work but I stayed at the library for too long doing research on theoretical material as base for a paper, and today it wouldn't have made sense to go to work when no one else is there. So I bought a lot of stuff for dinner (Nasi Goreng, yummy!) and played an NWN2 module for hours (Dark Waters, the second part really is good, while the first was quite innovative in terms of setting and amount of gimmicks but too slow).

Sure. NP: Ayreon - The human Equation (2 CDs) (Akerfeld's mostly singing here (Fear), awesome non the less)
  17. Would there be anything cooler than rickrolling everyone who came to your funeral? I think not. However only if your friends/family are savants of the internets, otherwise the only one finding it funny would be you, and you are dead

yours too, as always (live at the concert I've seen was way more impressive than youtube will ever deliver...)

    Dark Tranquility - Edenspring
  20. In that case I would attend to your funeral if it were not on the other side of the globe Otoh, I can listen to this song without funeral, too... As I don't care what people do after I'm dead, I could recommend some really bad metal sh in order to make them happy I'm dead. I wouldn't want them to listen to "my" tunes anyway, because I know they wouldn't react in the "right" way anyway to both my death and my music. On this note: Great choice, Nightandtheshape
