  1. You might want to quote people when you make your unwitty attempts at wit. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yet you knew I was speaking of you anyway.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Considering I was the only one in recent posts to mention anything about a girl, I'd say it's a no brainer. And considering an 18 year old girl (as someone else already stated) is an adult, combined with the fact you have NO clue how old I am, your statement is quite insulting and unwarranted.

  3. hehe ooops. I meant English SPEAKING teens, not specifically teens who are from Britain. To be honest, I've never spoken to any English teens (well there was one 18 year old chick, but she didn't speak/type like that and had a nice set of...uh back to the topic). My main rant comes from visiting too many US and Canadian based chat rooms/message boards where "internet lingo" runs rampant. I'll admit that I use "shorthand" sometimes, such as "btw". In reality, I'm not really against all shorthand, but rather the butchering of words, such as dis, dat and wut. Shorthand is to save time typing out full words, and sometimes that's acceptable. But the thing that really annoys me is stuff like dis, dat and wut aren't actually much shorter or less typing than the actual spelling of those words. For instance "wutevah" is pretty much just as long as "whatever", but for some reason teens choose to use the retarded spelling. I just can't take anyone seriously or think of them as intelligent when I see them spell like that. I know that is perhaps judgemental and ignorant on my behalf, but IMO (uh oh, shortand), since we can't actually see or hear each other speak over the internet, the only way to convey our "intelligence" is through our writing/posting.
  4. I like this addition, as it gives you instances where your party members are in fact needed. In reality, in KOTOR1, you never "needed" anyone except your PC and 2 NPC party members once you got to the part where you had all party members onboard. I think this addition makes all party members more important and fleshed out, rather than just selection 1-9 in terms of who you feel like having tag along with the PC on a given quest.
  5. If this turns out to be true, I will hunt you down with a vibroblade for ruining a sub-plot for me.
  6. Wouldn't that mean Revan would have to make an appearance relatively early in the game? Otherwise you'd be without a powerful lightsaber for most of the game since I'm hoping that Revan's appearance will coincide with a climactic part of the game (ie. 3/4 of the way thru, much like the "revelation" in KOTOR1 aboard the Leviathan).
  7. Nice. Thanks. I think when I play thru I'm going to select a portrait that will look like he's in or near his 30's. It'll help me "feel" the part better.
  8. you could always put back the stuff you didn't want.
  9. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think he's trying to make the analogy that gay men are exiled to California and that during the time of K2, they are exiled to Peragus station... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> only problem is he's got the intelligence of a wet nap.
  10. This sounds really intriguing.
  11. It would also make characters that you haven't used for a long time pretty much obsolete, since they'd be so much lower in level and effectiveness than your PC and the current enemies.
  12. Good thing I'll be long since dead by 100 years from now. Otherwise I'd probably end up going insane and shooting up a shopping mall if I had to read that kind of incoherent gibberish on a regular basis.
  13. I'd hope our PC is older than his/her 20's. Vet of the Mandalore wars plus being a Jedi before he left should put him at least in his 30's.
  14. Do people from non-English speaking countries have the same annoying habbit that many English "teens" have with the stupid internet lingo? Nothing bothers me more than trying to decipher a post by someone who insists on using words like "dat" or "wut" or "dis" or any other internet shorthand instead of spelling it "that", "what" and "this". Ugh. Teenagers annoy me to no end. [/end rant]
  15. You might want to post this in the KOTOR2 forums.
  16. I'm still trying to figure that out myself.
  17. How quickly the masses turn <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Craftman's still my favorite for his butchering of the name "Obsidian". To this day, I still chuckled when I read him post something about "Obistan Entertainment".
  18. You people are freaks.
  19. It hasn't been stated what makes it special, but you could hazzard a guess that it'll have more damage bonuses or something if used by its original owner (ie. the PC), rather than if you equip it on one of the NPCs.
  20. You know what's the rather scary (almost sad) thing? Going through this thread, the non-English speaking countries (or atleast the ones where English isn't the mother-tongue) have better spelling and grammar than quite a few of the English speaking countries. Which goes back to my theory that North American school system=deteriorating at a frightening pace.
  21. It's a good thing that XBox won't have any Live content? Or that the PC version wasn't pushed up as well? Either way, I doubt EITHER XBox nor PC users would agree since: 1-no Live content means no extras 2-PC version is exactly the same as XBox version (read Feargus' interview), so the extra time isn't for "adding content to the PC".
  22. You weren't forced to take everything....
  23. I thought it was just my net connection...
  24. Thanks for the tidbit of info. Sounds like an interesting new power to mess around with.
