  1. But that's a rather weird assumption. Why would a HIGH quality game not appeal to the general mass of players? And why would a LOW quality game (with a bit of quality) appeal to such a large population? In essense you're suggesting that the majority of the KOTOR gamers would like a game that is 50% complete, but only "hardcore" gamers want a game that's 100% complete. I think that's a rather weak and illogical assumption.
  2. Um? This post makes little sense for one main reason: how exactly can something appeal to a vast majority of fans if it has no quality? I think I understand what you're trying to ask, but the use of the terms "quantity" and "quality" don't fit in what you're asking.
  3. I thought the Droid Planet and Droid Factory were the same thing, just different terminology depending on who was talking?
  4. That is a cheap shot............ <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ahah I didn't even realize how many PPD you make until this thread. Good God, man.
  5. I don't think the Restoration project will be able to do anything about the droid planet. As far as I know, it was completely eliminated near the beginning of development (as opposed to being cut at the last minute and having the areas still including on the disk).
  6. I think it's supposed to just signify the HK-50's that are tracking you and how it was set to blow up in your presence.
  7. And that's about as big a melee as I want to see in a RPG.
  8. Same here. I was one of the unlucky ones when it came to piss poor performance, so I've never attempted to play it more than the one time. Shame really, considering there's a bunch of different clans to try to play through as.
  9. ^that didn't make much sense, but go with it. <_<
  10. My personal take on it is that the vision is of the Exile (not even necessarily DS Exile) flanking Revan (ie. joining him) and going off to the Mandalorian Wars, since the whole tomb is about revisiting your past. But then when you confront Revan, your spirit is no longer needed at his side, but rather the real you confronting him. Thus the spirit Exile disappears and it's just you and him.
  11. You described me quite well there. I graduated from university with an honors degree in Business Administration, with a specialty in Finance. As of this day, I just can't see myself spending the rest of my life working in that field. But, like you eluded to, I'm at a point (or rather, age) in my life where I feel I'm kind of "stuck" because I feel I'm too old to go back to school for another 3 or 4 years to earn a degree in something else. I know that's probably not the case, but the fact is I STILL don't really know what I want to do, so I'm "stuck" doing something I'm not particularly interested in.
  12. I'm at just over 10 ppd.
  13. If they eliminated every single post on this board that contained a smiley, Darque's post count would be down to single digits.
  14. this one should be recoded as :darque
  15. That smiley should be recoded :alanschu:
  16. Akari's team of ninjas are already on the way.
  17. I dont think internet people qualify as race quite yet. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I beg to agree.
  18. You're wrong. There, pointed out.
  19. I've always kept the starting a prestige classes in sync (ie. Guardian/Weaponsmaster). One of these times I might "cross-class".
  20. I suppose atleast he didn't say "soon". :D
