What? I bought my copy of Vampires in either October or November. Not sure what you mean by "making it able for Vampires to ship eventually in December 2004/January 2005.." In fact, both were released at the same time, if I remember correctly, since Valve didn't care because Vampires was using an older version of the Source Engine and probably wasn't worried about that older (and poorer performance) version being ripped off.

The only material in this era (or thereabouts) are the old Tales of the Jedi comic series. There are no actual books set in this era at present, however there will be one or two published in 2006. The earliest the books go back is just before the events of Phantom Menace.

As some have already stated, as long as it doesn't go against the setting (ie. having an ad for IKEA in a Star Wars game) then I actually think it's a neat idea.

Yeah I got the dot allocations wrong. It's 7-5-3 for Attributes, not Abilities.

The way I did it (which I got from a PM from Ender because I asked the same thing) is you follow the book (ie. for the 3 Abilities column, you allocate 7, 5, and 3 dots for the collumns ranked 1 to 3), then after you follow the guidelines in the book for allocation, you add an ADDITIONAL 50 points, but based on the cost chart Kaftan posted. In my case, keeping with the Abilities section, I added 7 dots among the Knowledge stats, 5 dots among the Talent stats, and 3 dots to the Skills dot. Then I allocated a few more of my 50 freebie points to those three stats, based on a 2 point cost.
