^What he said. For me it's not a case of "omg Lucasarts is using my precious droid?!?!?!", it's a case of Lucasarts re-using popular ideas/characters to try and sell something instead of coming up with something interesting in its own right.

Dear god only if they write some decent story around him. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've said it before, and I'll repeat it. I think the problem with Mandalore/Canderous in K2 is all due to the rushed ending. He *could* have been an interesting party member if those missions to gather the Mandalorian clans had more of an actual impact on the story, or were more indepth. But IMO those "missions" (if we can even call it that, since there was no XP to be had for convincing the clans on Nar Shaddaa and Dantooine to go to Dxun) were the result of a rushed product, and thus Mandalore's part became quite inconsequential. And since his "story" in K2 wasn't really all that important, we couldn't even fall back on his backstory since we already knew most everything about him from K1.

Coruscant could actually make for quite an interesting "first planet". Much like Taris, it could be where you establish your identity and have a whole bunch of different missions associated with it (ie. various Padawan missions for a fledgling student), plus various undercity type missions. I picture Coruscant as a much bigger, much more fleshed out Taris, in which you could easily spend over 10 hours of game play just on that planet before the Council sends you off on whatever mission it is that requires you to visit the other planets.

I'd say no thanks. There are enough planets in the SW galaxy that we don't need to re-use ones we've seen in games/movies. Especially one like Hoth that really doesn't add anything to the story except for that "ice planet" thing. Atleast with a planet like Coruscant or Corellia there's more history to it.

Vandar was believed to have died at Katarr. But then again so was Atris. A couple of the Masters comment that they were surprised when the Exile says Atris is on Telos since they thought she died at Katarr.

I've heard pretty good things about this game, as compared to other similar games in the genre.

I never knew what the point of it was. I got the option, but it's not like it changed anything in the dialogue.

That could be it. It's obviously just my opinion, but I think he's a pretty weak (story and character wise, not level wise) character to bring back like they did to Canderous in K2.

"Other" I replay it to get access to all dialogue and companion backstories, as well as to see the game play out from both LS and DS, and both male and female.

I think one of Tasty Taste's comments about why they chose a specific ending was more due to future novelizations. I think they, too, would have rather left alternate endings up to the gamer, but had to pick one or the other in order to keep continuity for potential novels and/or other games.

I know people need proof and not just someone's word, but I figured a simple discussion about it wouldn't hurt but since some people need proof before they're willing to give their opinion on the matter, here it is. Tasty Taste (Leland Chee, the guy who is in charge of what is canon and what is not) comments also on how he is pushing for a female Exile. And finally, here is the entry in the official Star Wars databank for the Star Forge. I hope that the word of Leland Chee (the Star Wars continuity and canon guy) is enough to satisfy everyone who didn't take my post at face value.

They have on the official forum. Revan's canon gender and alignment is LS male. As far as Exile, they're pushing for female, and presumeably LS as well.

What made you think Exile was female?
