  1. Ask on the Lucasarts forum. They're the one holding up the patch, not Obsidian. Although I doubt you'll get a response on there. I don't think they bother to even moderate their forums.
  2. I think he's just asking which you think are the overall better party members.
  3. Goo....goog....googla....goo...wha?
  4. Is that safe for jodo kast 5 to click on?
  5. This is RPGDot
  6. Never seen that happen in any of my play throughs. You should have taken a screenshot of it.
  7. I'm doing a Yahoo one.
  8. No, *you* edited your post.
  9. *she And yeah, you need to talk to her to get access to the sub-levels.
  10. He'll find a way to justify it.
  11. I hope you're right.
  12. Wouldn't T3 and Bao-Dur be considered LS? They only get influence with LS decisions (atleast in T3's case).
  13. First off, this probably belongs in the Spoilers section. Second, did you talk to the administrator? Did you talk to ANYONE on Dantooine? It would help if you described more about what you've done so people can help.
  14. Another reason I'll wait until the price drops on a package that includes the HD.
  15. You assume that "just another Jedi" implies that Jedi is somehow weak or clumsy. That's not the case. All it means is he/she isn't widely considered the saviour of the galaxy. For example, Revan fits into the "chosen one" category because he's lauded as the one that turned the tide in the war against the Mandalorians, saved the galaxy *before* the player even had a chance to play as him. The Exile, while not to the same degree, is similar in that he had a huge part in the Mandalorian wars *before* the player had access to him. In other words, these two characters were great before we, as gamers, even had a chance to mold their identity. On the other hand, a "just another Jedi" hero could be just that. Someone who didn't have an outstanding past, or had no real backstory except that he was an average student at the Jedi Academy and then found himself in a situation where he had to act. And that's where we, the player, come in. We're the one that make him evolve into a greatness from nothing, rather than being given a great individual and told to save the galaxy with him. In summary: Let us make the character become great. Don't hand us a character that is supposedly this all-powerful Jedi hero and then tell us to maintain that greatness.
  16. That's a great drawing of her face.
  17. I can't say "as a whole" which one I liked better because each had useful party members and each had useless (IMO) party members. Loved: K1- Bastila, Jolee, HK-47, Canderous K2- Kreia (best character of both games, IMO), Mira, Atton, Handmaiden, Visas Liked: K1- Carth, Juhani, Mission K2- T3, HK-47, Disciple, Hanharr, Bao-Dur Disliked: K1- T3, Zaalbar K2- Mandalore, GoTo (liked his backstory, didn't like him as a party member) Overall, I felt that the K2 characters were deeper, and there were less useless characters. Although I didn't like GoTo in my party of 3, I thought his backstory made him interesting. Which left only Mandalore from my K2 party that I didn't like, and that was mainly because we already knew his backstory from K1.
  18. Actually, I only comment on critisisms when they're unfounded or downright lies. You may not know this, but I actually voted for K1 over K2, largely due to what you mentioned (especially the ending). However, I'll defend any game, regardless if I loved it or hated it, if people bring up invalid arguments against it or if they exaggerate something about it. Now on to this specific post: While I can't disagree with much of your complaints because they are either a)true or b)your opinion, I just found it a bit weird that you used PS:T as your "pinnacle" for RPG and then went on to complain about KOTOR2's combat. PS:T's combat was hardly awe inspiring either, so I just thought that was a bit weird to bring up that game and then go on a tantrum about the combat in TSL.
  19. I've never understood why people *have* to be the chosen one or they can't immerse themself in the game.
  20. That's because you underestimate the true power of Darth Gallo.
  21. I spelled it wrong. Just shows how excited I was thinking how much that project would have r0x0rd
  22. I can think of something worse. " *cough*thechosenonemuchchoose*cough*
