The Tevinter Impreium worshiped seven gods in the form of dragons. The Chantry teaches that these were seven powerful spirits in the Fade who lied to men and caused them to attempt to enter the Golden City of the Maker. In punishment, the Maker cast them out of the Fade and under the earth. Others think they’re just high dragons the darkspawn have corrupted with a magic ritual. Either way, they

The Quest for Glory series would be my favorite, followed by the Prince of Persia series. I don't have a favorite single game.

Bioware/Bethesda appreciation thread

This from someone who's played through BG. I recall taking down legions of kobolds, orcs, orges, gibberlings, wolves, bears, and skeletons with 1) shoot arrows, 2) pause every five seconds as you select a different target for your archers, 3) continue until the enemy gets near, 4) run off until they stop chasing you, 5) come back and shoot more arrows. That's 75% of the fights right there. Though when I was really feeling saucy, I had Minsc stand in the middle of a crowd while my archers picked the opponents off one by one. Wow, you were pretty **** at the game. What? It's a cheap tactic that will win a huge amount of fights. It's one of the reasons BG II was a much better game. Nope. It's an MMORPG. Why would it have a single-player campaign? You might want to try something like Guild Wars, which has no subscription and is highly instenced. -
There are the various types of darkspawn - genlocks, herlocks, shriekers, and ambassadors. The demons - pride, hunger, desire, and abominations We also know there are werewolves, dryads, and giant spiders. And dragons, both normal ones and archdemons. And the blue ogre.

After that, not even WoW quest feel repetative. You want me to kill 7 shadowboars and bring you eleven sabercat talons? Sure. Sounds fun. -

Hmm.. Things I like about BioWare: 1. My female PC has been able to snog with a ninja princess and a blue alien girl* 2. The developers interact more with the community more than any others I know 3. Other than ME1, they've given a bunch of support and patches for their games 4. I never liked Star Wars or Jedi until I played KotOR 5. I like that they -

They haven't announced any of the new romances. If there was a M/M romance, would you prefer a human or an alien? Um, no.

I wish there wasn't a limit on editing time.. This is the same situation, but ten ton hammer goes into more detail.

Dragon Age Origins and Choice 2.0 one very major spoiler.

Dwarven Noble trailer Dwarven Noble dialogue - mild spoilers. Dwarven Noble article - very spoilery.

At this point, it looks like they've punted the idea of a Paragon shepard to the sidelines. Our NPCs so far are 1) murderer who kills for fun, 2) murderer who kills for money, and 3) murderer who kills so humans can rule over all other races. I hear that is possible in Dragon Age. For the most part, it is.

After interacting with Grunt, you will appreciate what a rich and nuanced character Wrex was thus leaving room for his triumphant return in ME 3. Great move BioWare! Join us next week when they introduce a male human romance that makes Carth and Anomen seem like the most manly and romantic of partners.

A new interview, http://uk.xbox360.ign.com/articles/101/1014425p1.html The biggest three choices in ME 1: 1: Who did you save on Virmire? 2: Who did you romance? 3: Did you save the council? From what I'm reading, all the new party members qualify as the scum of the universe. Assassins, brutes, alien-haters...

Congratulations.

There are 12 possible people to recruit in ME 2.

*is dazed* Wow. The logic is so, so flimsy in your poorly assembled strawman bait, that it actually took me a second to identify it as such. Congrats. Let's ignore your misuse of the word strawman (unless you aren't actually talking about whether choices from ME will create consequences in ME2) and try to salvage something. But you didn't talk about the *other* examples. You didn't even mention that there were *other* examples. What are these other examples? We believe that depending on whom you romanced, Kaiden, Ashely, or Liara will begin in your party. We know that how you dealt with Natalia Dantis changes how she interacts with you. We know nothing about the Rachni Queen, or the Council. I said Wrex was not in your party, but in the game. You said that there were no real consequences in the second game. That is ALL you said. If you have other information, please give it to me.
-
You've convinced me. Wrex isn't a party member, therefore no choices made in the first game will have real consequences in the second. When it comes to BioWare, I feel like a ping-pong ball. I go to their forums, and feel like I
-
Yeah. That's why "choices made in the first game will have an impact", right? C&C? Instead, we get "grunt", regardless of what we did in ME. *grunts* As far as we know, Wrex will appear in the game if you didn't kill him, but not as a party member.
-
I believe it's Divine Divinity 2.
-
That would be awesome. I'm sure it won't be in the game.
-
And now it's time for Dragon Age-Special: Alles
-
That's what they're doing with Dragon Age, and people are constantly complaining it doesn't look as sharp and shiny as ME. There is no WIN button with fans. I agree with that somewhat. One of the benefits of the casual market is the de-emphasis of cutting-edge graphics, which I think is important if you want quality and innovation in gameplay.
-
Because you could kill Wrex in the first game. IIRC, we don
