  1. I'd be willing to bet money there is a M/M romance. That
  2. You can kill or get rid of them all. Shale and Dog will never turn against you.
  3. Garrus porn isn't furry. It's just weird alien porn. Mass Effect and Jade Empire had gay romances. It
  4. Think very hard about this one. How might they know?
  5. Do they have telepathy? No.
  6. I'll miss you. See you again in.. three weeks?
  7. According to the article, it's because 'the Blight might get it.' According to David, that's not the real reason, but they wanted people to focus on the consequences of pissing off the teammates without having to explain the situation.
  8. Why? Do you plan on continously destroying religious relics? I assume that all the human party members, except Morrigan, will believe in the Chant of Light. High influence + high persuasion and you can convince them that you did the right thing.
  9. The cultists in the surrounding village kill outsiders who stay too long or show too much interest in historical relics. I'm sure that helps cut down wandering scholars.
  10. Witchblade was not a spin-off from Spawn. Though both of them ripped off the concept of a sentient, symbiotic suit from Spider-Man.
  11. I think most of the complainers ended up buying FO3. Edit: And it was a Fallout game by Bethesda. Come on. I admit to mild horror upon hearing the anouncement.
  12. I'm not sure where you guys are getting that the monk is the replacement for the palidan.
  13. Six months later, Obsidian announces that they have no idea what Bethesda was smoking. There is no Fallout: New Vegas; they've been working on The Elder Scrolls V: Fear and Loathing.
  14. Does all that drama happen late in the game? It was funny how those followers suddenly went berserk just because they disagreed with the PC's actions. It happens about 10-15 hours in. They're devoted followers of the Chantry. The PC just desecrated the urn with Andraste's ashes. For a real world example, say you were with two devoted Muslims, found the body of Mohammad, and you decided to take a wizz on it. How would they react?
  15. That appears to be the case. Did you find her to be Imoen like?
  16. Neat. Thank you. The adventure game looked interesting.
  17. Then they shouldn't swallow. Patrick Weeks talked about this previously. As the creators of the ME universe see it, diseases should not cross specie lines. A turian getting an STD from a human is like a human getting an STD from an oak tree. The problem with the quarians is that their immune system is so unused to non-sterile environments, it doesn
  18. I'm sorry if it seems I'm coming down on you, or that I think you to be the unholy love child of Satan and Hitler who pees glowing green radioactive waste. That's not the case. It's glowing blue. Leliana, also known as Tinkerbell, is a Ferelden raised in the Orlaisian court. She's on the run because she sold government secrets to Orlais enemies. She is sweet, nice, and enjoys giving people makeovers. If you want her to constantly argue with someone, place her in a group with Sten. I prefer this voice actor, but I understand some people dislike her.
  19. Another video, this one shows the scenario in the tentonhammer article with the ashes. At this point, hoping that BioWare will change it narrative structure is like hoping that Bethesda will change its open-world settings or Obsidian will change the mood they tend to evoke. If you play a BioWare game you will 1) gather a bunch of people, 2) follow an urgent main quest that isn
  20. I ask because there was a small debate the other day about whether using aliens for same-sex romances was 'dodging the issue.' Personally, I can
  21. I'll agree that everyone's definition of good is different. The Seven Samurai is one of the greatest films ever made. The Seven Samurai (with romance!) is something any game, book, or movie could proudly aspire to. On the other hand, I don't understand why you're satisfied with BG. Every game BioWare has made since then has been better than BG.
  22. I don't see how this is any less constructive or on-topic than the majority of discussions in the Dragon Age threads. I don't think anyone would argue with that point. (Actually, I am sure there are people who'd argue, but the vast majority would not) At the same time, there are many people on the internet who criticize and complain just because they're bored, want to talk about something, and that's the best they can come up with. I just think you're not being realistic in your desires. You want a complex and involved setting that has more than just generic fantasy elements, but you want to know everything your PC does when you start the game. Unless we have yet another PC with memory loss, that's not going to happen.
  23. No, but I know some people who would. Some of them are even on this forum.
  24. "Gah, Dragon Age is just like DnD. How lame is that?" "What? The dragons aren't just like DnD? What a cop-out!" "Wow. This sounds all sounds like generic medieval fantasy. I bet all myths are true.
