  1. KOTOR2 Because it's coming out for pc, and I like star wars, though jade empire sounds like a very interesting game Well that and even though kotor 2 didn't keep the character it still looks to be a great game
  2. perhapse there should be some mysterious fog on dantooine that u can get lost in and run into a dark jedi ghost or a light jeid ghost
  3. maul lost because good must win, obi wan must live, maul must die, duku must become the aprentice. Hense why he stood there like an idiot, when clearly he didn't hesitate with qui gon nor gloat over his victory before. Atleast the whole standing like an idiot thing made sort of semi sense compared to the scene in episode 2 where anakin holds out his arm for 10 seconds for it to be cut off. As for most power dude, I think it's the chosen one, vader/anakin.
  4. Perhapse u can just choose ur prestige class, but are restricted to ur alignments classes
  5. I was thinking something similar. But not so much a padawan as a fellow jedi under your comand. Perhapse left behind in a war zone... He might find u responsible for that and blame u. This could add a deeper character developement to him then simply, dark jedi who is held together by the darkside and wants to wipe out the jedi
  6. Spoilers Anakin is vader, but to be rebuilt into the machine half dead vader he'll be accidently thrown into a lava pit in a fight with obi wan.
  7. Spoilers: They are one and the same. The 2 prequels already released the beginning and middle of his ingenious plot to overthrow the republic. He had the trade federation blockade and invade naboo, this was for the purpose of killing padme amidala after the treaty was signed or possibly before to turn the trade federation into a threat to gain him more support. Thus his prime oponet in creating an army would be gone. Though he failed to kill padme, he did suceed in using this opertunity to become supreme chancelor. And thus ends episode 1 and thus begins the rise to power. In Episode 2 we see palpatine leading anakin along the dark path, telling him to trust his emotions (IE his hatred and need for revenge) and using some sort of long range mind manipulation to get the sand people to capture anakins mother and hold her there, keeping her just barely alive until anakin came, to see his mothers death would draw him into a dark rage inwhich he would truely begin his path down the darkside. The resistance secretly orchestrated by palpatine for a high priority threat, a time that needed an army, a military force to stop planets from breaking off and joining this new union outside of the republic. The seperatist anger began in episode 1, the republic suddenly created massive traderoute taxes, probaly also the work of palpatines long range mental manipulation. This combined with count dookus promise of power is most likely what caused them to break off. With the help of gungan, Jar Jar Binks, palpatine got supreme overriding power, and will never put down this power regardless of the campeign againts the seperatists. At the same time he was having the death star designed for him by the enemy without their knowledge. His plan has perfectly fallen into place, and he has risen to power, now all thats left to be done is the jedi purge, the unveiling of the empire, the rebuilding of anakin and the turning of anakin, likely through way of assasinating amidala or atleast trying to, then later leading anakin to beleive that she is dead and killed by the jedi, thus giving anakin a reason to wipe out all 10,000 jedi. Or all that he could find, overcourse this won't work completely, but he'll reign as emporer for a few decades before unexpectedly being thrown down the energy shaft of the death star, or was that the super star destroyer.
  8. didn't the hallways, the doors, and the general ship interior remind you of the sith bases, or atleast the empire. I could tell that the leviathan was a sith ship because "A" it didn't look like a republic ship, and "B" the ship design, it was menacing and reminicent of an ISD
  9. Yes however it has to represent a specific fleet. If u just have random ships flying around, and ur computer tells u it's a republic ship, whats to say that it isn't a sith ship thats broadcasting a republic signal. Whos to recognize this fleet. It's also not just about freind or foe, it's also about representing your people, your empire, your republic.
  10. I realy don't think a hood would do anything for or againts the force, it's just clothing. Visual awareness would definately go down while wearing a hood it restricts movement aswell as vision. Just because they are jedi justn't mean they can fight with their eyes closed any time, any place. Or does it
  11. I'd enjoy being able to put a hood up/down, but putting it up should effect awareness aswell as persausion.
  12. I don't think they just go out and buy a few ships from a dealer and call it a fleet, I think they would rely on a main contractor. The republic cared enough about decor to paint the hammer head classes interior and it's exterior why not other ships. The ships also have to represent the republic, if they all looked completely different how would u recognize them, besides the fact that the sith would probaly try to blow u up before u could recall what ships were in what fleet
  13. still ship interiors show different styles for each. If you look at the ship design of the empire everything is pretty similar. Also if u look at the rebels it's pretty much alike. Look at the x-wing and the a-wing both rebel ships, both witht eh same color scheme and the same basics in ship control, a semi similar in ship design. However if u compare the endar spire or other hammerhead class ships (we see them in the final battle in kotor, they have the same bridge as the endar spire.) to the leviathan they look almost nothing alike. The leviathan is more comparable to an isd with a dark silver hull and blue windows. The ships have little to nothing in common. Usualy ship designs atleast resemble each other a little. The Leviathan interior looked nothing like a republic interior. The shape of the hallways was completely different, the floors, the ceiling everything. U see pipes going along the ceiling. I didn't notice anything remotely like that on the endar spire. No offense is intended by any of my comments. It's not just the floor that resembles sith, it's also the hallway, look at it, it resembles the hallways in the sith bases. Everything seems silver and metalic, another thing that resembles sith architecture in certain ways. I'm just saying it looks sith ish and I realy don't think u'd start aboard an abandoned sith ship. I just don't find it logical. But hey thats just my opinion
  14. male. in kotor chose the guy with semi long hair. I don't care about having a female character just so I can look at her butt, rather then a males. Besides ingame u can switch characters, so u can always look at any of the females at any time, except when they aren't allowed to come with u. Besides I like a game romance with a female (no dang it I don't care about mods that allow me to do the same with a female character) not a male.
  15. They show no signs of republic interior design. Hammer head class ships seemed to be the primary cruiser used by the republic. The leviathan looks nothing like the hammer head class and is WAY WAY WAY larger. If u look at window size on the texture, u can clearly see that there are hundreds if not thousands of windows, I'd think that says something about size. Republic ships were far smaller in kotor so it seems. So I think they used a base republic design and had it enlarged to super size, then refitted it with star forge turbolasers by the dozens. To my knowledge if I remember correctly, turbolasers aboard the hammer head class ships were the traditional republic green (IE: Prequel) where as the turbolasers aboard the levi are red. I think thats another reasonable difference. Though small it says something about weapon design changes between ships. Sith fighters on the other hand seemed to have green turbolasers, hmmm perhapse the point is void then. Another thing to add, why would the sith keep u in a bacta tank if they were just going to kill u like the rest of the jedi they were assasinating.
  16. atris from the concept art/ not the promo looks far better than bastila. I hope she looks more like the concept art then the promo ingame, because to be frank it'd realy realy suck for her to look like that. She looks like a better fighter and possibly brighter person from the beginning. Bastila had a tough shell u had to crack through before seeing her kinder side. Mabey this character won't have a tough shell to break through, but who knows, she could be exactly like bastila.
  17. The ebon hawk doesn't have that much space aboard it, thats a very large room, and the architecture is not remeotely like that sceen aboard the ebon hawk which is on the contrary much more like the falcon from the trilogy then anything
  18. A light saber pen and a darth sion keychain, j/k a large poster would be nice. How bout some behind the scenes looks at episode 3, not very high quality but built into the game to play after u beat it or something
  19. None of them look anything remotely like the ebon hawk
  20. Lack of medical beds leads to the conclusion that a breakout was un expected? I see no evidence to disprove the theory that this is a sith ship where u run into darth sion. Also in the 3rd picture of the hall of the dimly lit sith ship, ur holding a lightsaber, I thought u didn't have a lightsaber at the beginning of the game?
  21. The leviathan was a heavily modified republic design, nearly totaly rebuilt from the ground up with only the basics of things left as they were, or atleast thats what I got from the game. Also my comments on architecture were also based on the sith bases within the game, on manaan and taris, the hallways had the same architecture. That architecture can be seen in the picture. The reflective floor is remincent of the empire sets from the trilogy and the leviathan from kotor. Not that the republic can't have reflective floors, it's just that the floors aren't usualy black and nor are they usualy so reflective. Also it seems republic architecture has changed by far since the days of the leviathan, oval shaped hallways seemed to be aparent aboard the endar spire and the like hammerhead class ships. Architecture can change between ships, but I don't think it would be that drastic. Another thing to note on, the highly grey/silver/baremetal surfaces. Usualy the republic keeps a color theme of red/yellow/white within their ships. However this could change also. Another small thing, there seem to be 2 metal medical tables to the right with possibly surgical tools above, but otherwise there seems to be no beds or places for recovery/trauma or simply waiting for the bacta tank, this may stand as a weak argument, but I think it may stand to chance that it might be a sith lab rather than a medical bay, but thats just a small chance. Anyway it seems like an interesting area, very sinister, very dark, a slight change of pace from the brightly lit rooms that we saw in kotor 1. But then again it may just be for the sake of the concept art.
  22. Why do u think it's a republic ship, look at the architecture. I called ragnos a superweapon because that was basicly the purpose that he was serving in the game. A terrible destructive "thing" that will be the end of the republic that needs time before it can complete it's task/ and or be unleashed and in that time it will be destroyed by someone. Even though he technicaly wasn't a weapon he served the plot purpose of a superweapon. After a second look at the reactor or whatever it is, I noticed something that looked like a conveyor belt hauling ore. I now think it is likely the mining facility reactor or something of the like.
  23. I know that, however, the sith always need a superweapon in order to do anything so it seems. Star Wars Trilogy: Death Star Star Wars Prequel Trilogy: The clone army (it's not so much a superweapon but it comes pretty close) Star Wars KOTOR: Star Forge Star Wars Dark Forces 2 Jedi Knight: Dark Trooper (never played the game but read about it) Star Wars Jedi Knight 2: Doomgiver Star Wars Jedi Knight 3: Ragnos Superweapons are aparently a must have for every rising sith lord, I would hope that KOTOR 2 didn't have another super weapon but it likely will like almost every other star wars movie/game.
  24. I don't mean to sound offencive, but that makes absolutely no sense. I barely saw the sith emblem (which is void now, the emblem was the starforge symbol) onboard the leviathan. The sith do not rule in this time. The jedi have gone into hiding due to assasinations and the sith are yet again rising in power. The only question is, what doomsday weapon is it this time.
  25. I think Sith Alchemy is a great idea, mutate enemy creatures into "helpful" terrentateks. Create powerful saber crystals (perhapse one that creates a poison that is emitted upon a certain attack that damages enemies then turns them into allies). However the LS needs something equaly powerful for it's classes. Perhaps anceint jedi arts, mabey a defencive field that a jedi can conjur that they and their party can walk through but dark jedi cannot. That could be one of the lightside powers.
