actualy characters in game have a chance to gain an array of force powers with the click of a button whereas EU jedi have to learn and progress over decades and most powers don't even exist outside of the game and are simply there as game mechanics. After all whats a jedi without force powers? And furthermore who would play one that could only use push/pull and jump? Besides Hades One. The pre-game revan was probaly decently powerful, logic doesn't dictate that if the jedi could take out bodygaurds they could kill revan aswell, that makes no sense realy. He was a talented tactiction and a well capable sword fighter. He was struck down by a turbolaser hit to the front of the bridge, the damage from the explosion cuppled with being thrown to a metal floor from an upright posistion caused amnesia, I doubt Darth Vader would be as affected, but thats because he is mostly machine rather then flesh and blood. Palpatine however might have faired far worse in such a condition due to the frailties of his own body caused by his extreme use of the darkside, manipulating events billions of lightyears away is a rather stressful job, look at the wrinkles from all that stress, look at the veins from all that anger. Palpatine however would have probaly seen the seed of deception within his pupil (if malak were his aprentice) and had him killed earlier on rather then abide by him, but then again he's one of the most powerful force users in the galaxy so it's not quite fair to compare him to revan who was more based in tactics and swordplay then actual force use. Was Revan Sith'Ari? In my opinion no Was Palpatine Sith'Ari? Possibly but not likely in my opinion Was Darth Vader Sith'Ari? More likely then Palpatine but again in my opinion no Was Darth Bane Sith'Ari? I find this character one of the most plausible Sith'Ari canidates, didn't he kill off lots of sith or something and set up the rule of 2. But these are all just my opinions

I'm glad my somewhat long posts do some good around here to answer some questions

There have been numerous topics on this already. And heres what I got out of it First off- All beings have mediclorians according to Lucas, the force flows through them all, however force sensitive individuals have a higher number then usual and can use/manipulate the force. Thus 2 non-jedi can have a jedi child and jedi offspring will almost definately be jedi. Second of all- The discouragement of relationships to my knowledge was started after the great jedi civil war (Exar Kun's war) where jedi turned on one another, jedi with emotional attatchments were forced and sometimes unable to kill their freinds/spouses/whatever else and thus cause a great loss and an emotional depression within the jedi community, it was hurting the war effort and destroying their will to fight, turning them to the darkside. Thus further relationships were discourages, then eventualy over the centuries the rules got more precise and love was eventualy banned for fear of an exar kun war scenario happening again. Jedi will still be born but much less frequently this also helps with keeping the numbers down to a more manageable size for the jedi to keep track of/controle of, otherwise who knows how many could simply join the darkside. Emotions tied to love were highly discouraged and the jedi attempted to smear such out of younglings minds. The younger they are the more open minded they are, the more they can more easily absorb information/beleifs. Thus getting a teenager won't be as easy as getting a 4 year old to cooperate with the whole ignoring emotions thing. Third of all- The sith might not breed so often because they might consider it a possible weakness, raising a child in a scoiety where you can be killed at any time without any sort of protection probly causes paranoia not to mention fear of the child being killed bring compassion back into their lives, caring for the child and such. Seperation would cause a possibility them to leave the sith order, and or take back their child while on a rampage killing many non-force user troops in doing so, wasting men. Plus time and work put into caring for the children rather then focussing on combat and hatred. Forth of all- I don't agree with the jedi rule in anyway, it seems plausible within such an order, but not practical, or fair, heck it doesn't even seem moral to deny love or such emotions, nor to use a childs moldability to manipulate them into trying to banish their emotions. All are opinions of my own, if not they are gathered from something I remember from other topics

to my knowledge yuthura tells you of the sith'ari when u take the time to chat with her. I liked the prequels myself, sure the dialog sucked and the common sense was nowhere to be seen but they were good star wars films. I didn't find the original films dialog to be so awe inspiring either, u want great lines, you watch LOTR, and while ur at it, watch LOTR for a great story too not to mention great acting, watch SW for spacefighter dogfights, giant superweapons, forcepowers, evil ingenious manipulation plots, lightsaber duals, and the wise words of yoda. Thats just my opinion

The facial structure of the one you (darth ni) think is bastila doesn't seem to resemble bastilas face at all in my opinion, even though it's hard to tell from the angle the faces simply don't look alike to me. As for the pic of atris, I realy hope they go witht the wallpaper/earlier concept art version, had a much nicer face. Ofcourse thats also just my opinion. Darth Sion is the twisted remains of a warrior long torn of his form in battle, held together by hate and sheer will the darkside fuels his quest to rule the galaxy and possibly infect it with the T-virus and somehow involve a new faction known as the dark umbrella empire, once a republic cosmetics company attatched to czerka corp, now an evil empire built on hoardes of infected undead creatures I'm probaly forgetting some characters, but hey it's late

I find Tatooine to be an excuse for poor game design in SW games, it's sand, a rather repetitive and simple thing to do, just add some particle effects to make it seem like winds blowing and there, tatooine, buildings all have the same rough texture for the most part. And so it seems in KOTOR everybody unimportant and human wears generic tunics on everyplanet

aparently his "soul" was devoured by freedon nad so I don't think there is a real connection here. However had his soul not been devoured it might have been an interesting concept, tying in more and more EU would be quite interesting

Mabey it's because we know he is held together by hatred and the darkside, otherwise he would be a pile of worthless flesh. I would have preferred if KOTOR 2 was a true sequel myself, but I don't mind the new cast thing so much anymore. It'd be cool to be a re-exiled revan with some of the gang along for the ride. As for the whole level thing, a corrupt jedi master could have exiled you for some dark reason (perhapse you became too powerful, or he feared you would be a threat to the sith later on) and taken from you your command of the force, ala Sunrider back with Ulic. The sith lords storyline could work in this setting. But thats just my opinion

If ur going to pit my levi againts a SSD, then I'm going to have to pull out the big, giant, oversized, guns. The starforge *rams through SSD like a bug on a windsheild, a very, very big windsheild, then procedes to decimate the planet with constant laser blasts, then finaly ramming through the debris, picking it up for later construction use*

The technilogical difference seems minimal. To heck with AT-ATs I'll just have my leviathan blast the heck out of it, 2-5 shots, no more ATAT. I don't think the black cloth parts of the stormtrooper armor can stand up to a well placed sword blow

Have u considered the power source for these ships might be rakatan in design. Or atleast upgraded. And thus might somewhat feed off of the darkside. Thats a bit farfetched but it might have. I'm talking about 2-3 beams tearing up a building (nevermind the poorly done mesh bomb over use, no offense bioware, it's just a bit too cheesy) 5 floors, 10 floors, it's blowing the crap out of buildings. A few dozen of these things turn a planet to dust. Who needs a deathstar? *which has some sort of laser that pops planets like baloons* Note that no offense is intended

Why are stormtroopers so popular, they have incredibly bad aim, go down faster then a sithtrooper... bad training.... drop like flies... Atleast a sith takes more then one hit before going down. Not to mention to way the armor (the white, not the undetailed silver) looks. Does a stormtrooper inspire fear in peoples hearts? Note that this is simply a question with an attatched opinion

Sith Troopers: Faster, Stronger, Better Pros- Have a brain, hense half decent aim Way cooler uniforms Swords for closerange combat and blasters for longrange Better protection Likely more tacticaly skilled then a stormtrooper, which receives minimal training before assuming it's duties, as cannon fodder Cons- Slightly less advanced tech Lacking in sheir numbers Takes longer to train them them stormies Sith, and Storm troopers serve the same purpose, medium sized long time frame assaults and post-war/conflict empire matinence duties, such as maintaining order Clone Troopers are for massive small time frame assaults, well armed, well trained, but limited in time. Clones need to be grown, growing clones takes time. These troops cannot be treated as cannon fodder, unlike storm/sith troopers they cannot be trained within a year or two or simply recruited, they need to be cloned and trained in everything a normal person knows. You can't wait 10 years for a fresh supply of troops to maintain an empire. Hense recruiting. These are the short time war winners, long time frame campeigns thin the numbers till they are useless and slowly become worse and worse equiped, as resources run out to make/pay for equipment

How does there being more ships affect the amount of damage done by each individual blast? U can see 2-3 shots from a levi tearing apart a giant building.

U had enough time to pick up everything else, plus it has the same accelerator. Also it's the exact same model. The limits of time can only be destroyed by one thing: PLOT well two things actualy, PLOT and Cheats

First off, the lasers the leviathan is armed with are capable of shattering apart buildings with 2-3 blasts. And has like 50 of them, on each side. I think the scale on the database is wrong, they probaly didn't care while they were writing it, simply something on the ship to put up. Look at the amount of windows on the levi for example, it has hundreds to thousands. I don't think they realy worried about technilogical stuff while they were writing the story, nor did they care about scale or other technical things like that. None the less KOTOR is a great game, but they should have worked more on the back ground details, surely it wouldn't take to long to make sure everything was the appropriate scale and power. If not that then atleast on the lightsaber details they look like painted sticks for heavens sake.

I thought romances were good aswell, though they should be done much better and have game mechanic advantages and disadvantages. Not just game mechanics, but also a better romance plot overall, and no blacked out kiss scenes.... And a more sincear relationship, less of the whole far too overused forbidden love plot. As for the whole revan and the gang thing, yeah that would have been better, a direct LS continuation that could be put in the same setting as TSL, but with the old cast and some new cast. Could work for a plot with one of the sith lords such as sion, which could be one of the jedi that served under revans command and died on a mission, then blaming revan. Get rid of T3, Canderous (sorry to Ordo fans but he's not all too important), juhani (she's ugly, she's whiny, she's a lesbian) and keep mission, zaalbar, hk-47, mabey a cameo by Jolee, then new characters. Not nessisarily marrige with bastila, but as a possible late romance option that could work, or have a relationship with atris, the white haired woman from the concept art. But I don't mind the whole change of cast so much anymore, though I wish they had left T3 out of the game, he's an R2D2 replicant without any sort of personality and is worthless in all situations. I thought malak looked fine, a decent evil villan outfit for a game. But he was a complete arse. I didn't think of the "bastila intervention" scene as much of anything besides an excuse to for bastila to turn againts u and malak to live to fight another day. Malak could have won if he had: A brain Put the starforge in dreadnaught mode Not relied on jedicell batteries, should have used energizer starforge edition after he was on his last leg, the force would have torn him apart durin the battle but atleast it would have been more interesting. Basicly a combination of the starforge's power and malak Courage Decent skills Guidelines for sith lords: Have a brain, and a manipulative one at that Have courage not cowardice, u want ur master dead u fire on his ship, then finish the job, or better yet ambush him with sith assasains while they are fighting with a jedi boarding party Have more of a connection then simply being the dark lord with him as the lowly aprentice, maby former comrades in arms or something If they are going to die, let them try and take the PC with them, last vengance sort of thing More mysterious Redeemable if only for them to attempt to backstab the PC.
