  1. It seems to have the post apocalyptic themes down but what are the game mechanic aspects, the rules system used? Is it governed more of the FPS style of Half Life 2 and Doom 3 or does it have a more CRPG feel, and if so is it action oriented (like Deus or JE) or traditional in its design (like Fallout or Silent Storm)?
  2. Oh, sure, blame the defenseless bunny.
  3. Volourn, you confused lil' monkey. Only the first fallout was better. Fallout 2, the BG series, KotOR series, and the rest of the CRPGs are far from the almost splendidness of Planescape: Torment.
  4. JE R00fles. NWN R00fles. Okay, I did my part.
  5. Volourn, you are just being silly. There is only one game better than Planescape: Torment and that is Fallout 1. All other games pale in comparison.
  6. The PC version for it got the patches and a whole lot of mods that make the game better let alone the Restoration Mod when it is finished.
  7. Yep, with Fallout 1 being on top.
  8. Well, Planescape: Torment is the second best CRPG ever made.
  9. Volourn, the name he went under was Randal Flagg and he is a good one. In fiction I would have to say Quinn from the Night's Dawn Trilogy from Peter Hamilton (if memory serves). He is a villain that gets what he wants in the end.
  10. I don't post there as often as I should but I am in full agreement, kirottu.
  11. There is no such thing as a perfect game.
  12. A. The homosexual variety. *tee hee*
  13. Not that it matters to much anyway. Not only would we need to develop FTL travel, but it has to be signifacant FTL speeds to get anywhere interesting. Earth is indeed the ass end of space.
  14. It only needs to happen once.
  15. If a man made singularity happens it would probably just destroy no more than a few hundred miles before dissapating.
  16. Star Wars has been dead since Episode 6. Its just a rotted corpse with maggots eating the last remnants.
  17. Um... Bye.
  18. My main problem with religious types is that you guys don't leave people alone. It seems that every other day I am walking down the street or I my door buzzer rings that I get harassed by Christians. Just yesterday, while I was trying to sleep after my 10 hour night shift 2 stupid assed Christian types buzzed my door and wanted to "save" my soul. I told them off, that to never come bother me again, and another time that their little church group comes around I plan on suing them for harassment. That got them to leave in a hurry. If I wanted to "bring Jesus into my heart" I would go to one of the three freaking dozen churches that are in the city I live in. I don't care if you are Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, or whatever. MIND YOUR OWN DAMN BUSINESS AND LEAVE ME ALONE. If people just leave each other alone, practiced thier beliefs in private, and not bother those who don't share the same faith or have a faith the world would be better off.
  19. I would choose Australia. A nice out of the way place. Military Advisor: Joan of Arc Economist: Henry Kissinger Political/Spiritual Advisor: Buddha Culture/Science: Albert Einstein Civil Engineer: My Uncle. Legal System: Sandra Day O'Conner Medicial: SOmeone who is the top of their field today. DOn't know who that would be.
  20. (w00t) (w00t) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Winrar?!?!?!? He is a file compressor progam? http://www.rarlab.com/
  21. One person's spam is another person's sparkling personality. :D It sounds like the crafting system is fuly fleshed out and is going to rock.
  22. Volourn, they looked goofy. What kind of competent warrior, even a martial artist, would go half naked into battle? That is just stupid. Also it seems that every female PC model was greatly endowed in the breast department in dressed skimpily. That is just a tad ridiculous.
  23. Sometimes it is just player gratification of making a unique character, both in attitude and appearance, and doesn't have any effect on gameplay. In the case of Jade Empire if I am going to play a closed fisted dark brooding character I don't see him wearing monk robes.
  24. I do agree with that but I still like to give my character as much as a unique look as possible.
