  1. I agree. The importance of the 'Last Jedi' in regards to the Sith has to do with what the Jedi stand for - the struggle of light and dark. Your character is the only Jedi who didin't go into hiding after the Jedi Civil War and who didn't join Revan after the Mandalorian Wars either. The Jedi who went into hiding ceased to be Jedi in that regard as they no longer actively battle against the Dark Side. Convolute perhaps, but it is explained. Play it a little longer, and you'll see. Yeah, Peragus was basically *yawn*. Those recordings onlyl go so far and is no substitue for an life-like intro like Taris. Even the level maps on Peragus were indistinguisable. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever for the infernal manic VP regeneration! Ugh! No challenge = No fun (at least in terms of the combat facet). Useless? Depends on your point of view. Sure, you don't really need it per say, but from a 'power-gaming' perspective, certain items can only be made with the labstation/workbench (especially due to the randomness of the loot generator) 100% with you there, Volo. The Sentinely with 14 int is simply overkill. Not only does it have the Guardian BaB from K1, but now you'll have more skills than you know what to do with. Don't waste the points raising int to 18; instead raise con to 18 so you can use the D-pachkage Implants. Yup. I suspect it's all part of a running joke to make Jedi Classes indistinguisable. <_< Acually there is - at least partially to an extent in not all the way to level 1. You see Volly, this Jedi lost his connection to the Force. We don't really know how badly these Jedi rely on the Force; they use it as a guide and ally in almost everything they do, and in almost every perception that they use. Without it, they're nothing more than a man, a woman or a child. All will be revealed. In other words, Philosophical in a very Matrix sort of way. Without a doubt. It ranged from item creation to dialogue options to opening new quests. Good stuff. Okay, this is getting too damn long, so I'll finish this later. "
  2. If you incur too much damage during a race, you're bike breaks down - thereby resulting in failure to complete the race.
  3. For lighsaber forms: Once they're activated, they stay in effect as long as you're wielding a lightsaber. Sometimes however, area transitions annoyingly reset your form. So just check on the HUD to see which form you've currently activated. Scripts (agressive, stationary, etc), work in a similar way.
  4. For K1, that's fine because Consulars only had a 0-15 BaB progrssion and the level cap was 20. But in K2, the dueling bonuses become redundant at higher levels due to equal Jedi BaB progrssion (+1 /level) this time around, and the effective removal of the level cap - due to the unattainable upper ceiling of level 50. Single saber is the way Star Wars should be...but the single saber animation just looks lame (with the exeption of Revan's scorpion saber twirl of course).
  5. Do they even make laptops that run games at all? I've never heard of them. ^_^
  6. Not much. Dual wielding is effectively twice as good. Just make sure you get at least 3rd level Two-Weapon Fighting.
  7. You mean you didn't skip school to buy and play KotoR 2?! Shame on you! And you call yourself a fan... *tsk tsk* ^_^
  8. The part where we never get the patch.
  9. Unless you're a PCer and an XBOXer - then you're stuck with two broken games.
  10. 256 MB GeForce 5700 LE with the Radeon in the trash. ^_^
  11. This infuence system is unfortunately static. There are no dynamic changes in characters behavior, dependent on the alignment of conversion (with an ever so slight exception to Visas).
  12. shush you. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ATi is sooooo goo.... sucky. No really, it is. I hate ATi so much (and I'm Canadian!). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Preach it to them, brother! ^_^
  13. Behold the wonders of 12 month development...
  14. Especially the quality of the turret space shooting.
  15. Come on now Number Man, Dr. Shmoo like you! ^_^
  16. They never showed Shoaneb's eyes in Tales of the Jedi either, so I'm hoping they're just regular eyes as well: <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Where is the image??? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You just quoted it.
  17. Why would this NOT be fixed?! How can a game be released with a known bug that does not allow the game to be played? (and yes the bug does exist. It happens like clockwork for me) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's just disgraceful. <_< The game wasn't done by Lucasarts. All Lucasarts does for Star Wars games (for the most part) is make sure the story lines work with Star Wars cannon. Obsidian programmed it since Black Isle didn't want it anymore (or Lucasarts wouldn't give it to them). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> In a manner of speaking, Obsidian is an incarnatin of BIS. But I'm pretty sure you mean Bioware. " Yeah, every area transition. Does this mean no extended Pazaak sessions?
  18. Some of the DVD writers these days have trouble with reading CD roms properly.
  19. You make it sound like some sort of recipe.

  21. First off, make sure it's a CD drive you're inserting the disc in, and not a DVD drive.
