  1. Isn't Qui-Gon's spirit supposed to be in the DVD edition? Now that's something I really missed in the theatrical release. I mean, simple exposition on Yoda's part doesn't cut it...it just makes it feel tacked on. Also: Cutting Cin Drallig (who incidently was an absolute *GOD* in the video game), and Paddy Bene I can understand (though I'm somewhat dissapointed), as they're secondary characters who've yet to be introduced. However, how the hell can you cut Shaak-Ti, Luminara Unduli and Bariss Offee? Furthermore: Was it just me, or were all the duels a tad bit on the *short* side? Meh - perhaps it's due to the fact they weren't properly choreographed duels like in Phantom Menace, but mainly "talking heads" and speed blurs.
  2. Forget this Tomb Raider clone crap business. If LA wants to revive the Indy series, they should go back to the FoA adventure roots which made the genre indomitable. However, 2d point-and-click adventures are all but obsolete (unfortunately), so my preference would be to emulate something like Beyond Good and Evil.
  3. Grow up already. (Excuse the pun ^_^ )
  4. You're clearly forgetting the wooden thing. ^_^
  5. I think Nurbs fogot the last option which combines options 1 & 2: Revan of course (proudly thinking about oneself)! + Grand Admiral Thrawn (voting and touching copy of "Heir to the Empire" at the same time) = Revan AND Grand Admiral Thrawn of course (proudly touching oneself and thinking about copy of "Heir to the Empire" at the same time) ^_^
  6. True. But...there's always the chance of scintillating Miraluka magnificence.
  7. Agreed. But to further exemplify, even Aunt Beru (young Beru that is!), played by Bonnie Piesse is better than Portman:
  8. I'd rather see a Knights of the Old Repbulic television series.
  9. At the end of the movie, I really liked palps the old bastard for some reason. He's just misunderstood, that's all.
  10. Palps & Yoda stole the show.
  11. Not to mention the parts which are readable fall firmly under the category of "military sci-fi".
  12. Yes. I bought my tix in advance. Unfortunately when I drove by this morning people were still camped out in chairs and whatnot. I guess I'll just showup at the proverbial last minute, bribe some front line fan boy $100 for his spot, and be on my merry way. ^_^
  13. If the PS3 gets Jade Empire 2...I'll buy it. :D
  14. In the first KotOR there's a Twi'lek merchant (outside your Tarisian apartment), who interestingly enough addresses this issue. His explanation was akin to one side (of the Republic or Sith), employing the energy shield in abundance during the forefront of the war, thereby giving them great advantage. Eventually the other side was able to develop energy shields of their own, thus nullifying this comparitive advantage. Hence, the swordplay of vibroblades was reintroduced due to their innate nature of circumventing energy shields.
  15. Some of those are excellent. :D
  16. Jag's ratings: Shatterpoint - 10/10 Cestus Deception - 8/10 Hard Contact - 4/10 Battle Surgeons - 7/10 Jedi Healer - 6/10 Jedi Trial - 1/10 Yoda - Dark Rendezvous - 9/10 Labirynth of Evil - 6/10
  17. you are should be "you're" NOT "your" as you wrote above. Just pointing out a spelling mistake. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If we're going to get really picky (and we will), "ive" should be "I've" (capital I and an apostrophe). The end of the sentence is also lacking a full stop. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, for purposes of thematic consistency: You should quote "I" as you've quoted "ive" and "I've". Therefore the following sentence can be rewritten: If we're going to get really picky (and we will), "ive" should be "I've" (capital "I" and an apostrophe). The end of the sentence is also lacking a full stop.
  18. Flight attendants reveal naked truth :D
  19. Did you guys know that the infamous Cin Drallig is a cameo by the RotS stunt coordinator, Nick Gillard? It's his name backwards. Also: Look out for this dirty bastard in the movie: *SPOILER*
  20. I'm surprised someone hasn't suggested her for Lady Death ... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Pamela Anderson for Lady Death... "
  21. I think the problem with Revolutions is that most of the movie *isn't* filmed in the Matrix world where everything is cool and they know Kung Fu. Instead it's filmed in the "real world"...where people wear potato sacks.
