  1. Most of us are still waiting for a complete game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I won't hold my breath. <_<
  2. There was a planned Bao-Dur romance, but it got cut due to time constraints. So the romance options for females are the murderer or Disciple.
  3. I liked that Revan wanted to take over the galaxy. KOTOR II made him/her into a hero no matter what.
  4. You can fall in love with Disciple.
  5. I didn't care for Atris because she was not hot. She was easily twisted. She was generally annoying. That is all.
  6. A title that could be... KOTOR III?!?!!1!11
  7. Our console friends... yes I was bored. "
  8. What? I wanna know what you think! :D
  9. ...and at this time, because there are so few Jedi, the typical "Jedi are trained as children rule" doesn't apply. It's adds to the idea that the Jedi Order is in peril... there! That's explains it... I think.
  10. I played on Xbox and never encountered any major bugs. Maybe I was just lucky though. PC'ers on the other hand, are still waiting for patch #2 I believe.
  11. I thought Disciple was hot... :">
  12. Of course, Revan was never "True Sith" after all.
  13. I thought it was good! (w00t) Looks like Mission!
  14. Seriously, I don't understand why they would bring her back. She was really a minor player in the grand scheme of things. In addition, it wouldn't be plausible since I killed her. (w00t)
  15. Me too! If we are talking about the KOTOR series, I don't see any way around it. Perhaps my idea of LS, DS or neutral backstories is the problem. Make them all neutral and that allows for more freedom. I would pick choosing a backstory over "rapid aging" any day though. Maybe that's just because of my bad experience with Fable. <_< To me, rapid aging makes any game dreadfully unrealistic.
  16. I don't agree. I believe backstory should play a VERY small part in the overall story. This is will be a consistant problem with the series. It would be nice if a game series were made where: First one your character is born and a child, second teen to adult, third adult to death... or whatever. I don't think that's ever been done before. Then you would really create your own backstory and not just choose from options someone else made up. Edit: Of course, some people would think that's boring because you'd be playing the same character.
  17. I completely understand now. It's funny that complete freedom of character in Computer/Video games is such a foreign concept to me. I honestly had to reread all your posts like four times to get it. Do you have any examples of games that allow something like this or close to it?
  18. I think it would be unrealistic to just say "I'm going to play this game Light" because I want Mira. "So let me choose Light at the beginning and play." Then what? You still get Mira no matter how evil you are? I guess I don't understand.
  19. I guess for me, that might be a little too easy. I like having to convince/corrupt others to join me.
  20. Well I know that when they did the combat upgrade, a lot of people lost their skill levels. Players were stuck with weapons and armor they no longer had the "level" or whatever to use. They made grouping mandatory (no more fighting solo). They also made some professions irrelavant: Why wait for a doctor when you can "magically heal yourself?" Monsters no longer do "mind" damage so "entertainers" are useless... ect. I don't play, but the general consensus is that Sony Online Entertainment doesn't listen to it's SWG subscribers.
  21. I actually think they should do away with Force Points all together. I find the system to be too mechanical.
  22. While I don't buy games for sex appeal, I did find the promotional art to be misleading. When I first met her in game, I said to myself, "Oh... she's... old!?!?" Later it was, "So she never fights or even meets Nihilus?!" In short, no KOTOR III for her... nope. OT: Also, there were some voices in the game that didn't match the characters. Like when you first arrive on Nar Shadaa... the guy who is about to get killed has an old face, but definitely NOT an old mans' voice!
  23. I like the idea of choosing between several backstories. To integrate both ideas, perhaps they could have a Darkside backstory, a Lightside and a neutral one. Of course, as you stated, one's alignment could change depending on his or her actions and choices. This way a player wouldn't be "locked in" to any particular one. Great post!
  24. Jedi are supposed to be trained from childhood. Luke was an exception, not the rule. I think starting from adulthood is the reason for the weird story. They had to come up with some way a character could start as a Jedi (LucasArts demanded this) and still have little to no Force Skills. Because of that, we had to be some weird, Post Traumatic Stress suffering void, Force Bond anomaly thing. They couldn't do the amnesia thing again and you can't start off all-powerful or the game would be too easy. The answer? Start off as a child and grow to adulthood. Simple.
