"it's the same with every EA sports game" Nah. 09 is a lot more buggy than 08 certainly was. I'v enever really had a problem with Madden either. Those are the only two EA games I've really played online so *shrug*. Until they get the EASHL issues fixed, I'm just gonna avoid one fo the features I was really looking forward. Certainly hurts an otherwise awesome game.

Here's part 2 to the 'awesomest post ever' (typos included): I'm the first one tod efend NHL 09/NHL 08/EA from the likes of Abiner, and his ilk; but as much fun as I'm having with NHL 098; there are quite a few annoying problems - espicially in the online sueprstar mode. 1. Everybody knows about the stat reset. Beforehand, I was 7-6 with very good stats, and since then I've been 2-10 with lacklustre stats. Will EA have a way to fix such unfairness? At least give me a full reset. L0L You reste my good stats so reset my bad stats. L0L 2. The game freezes a good amount when loading up a EASHL game. This makes one suffer losses. About half my losses from before and after the reset ar ebecause of this. I should be something like 7-4, and 2-6 respectively before/after the reset. Interetsingly enough, once I'm in the game, it';s very stable, and I don't crash. Ever. It's dumb to suffer a loss because you crashed when you didn't even get in the game yet. 3. Computer should take more penalties. Thanks. I often get slashing penalties with stick left (which is fair); but the computer nearly never does. 4. The following issue is more a rant against the peons you get stuck playing in the game. It's common fact that user goalies tend to be worse than computer goalies so it's annoying when someone gets stuck with goalie they'll quit. This, for soem reason, often happens against me which means I'm stuckl on a team with a human goalie trying their best but sucking versus a computer goalie who makes theft after theft. L0LLERZ@ Overall, it's a very fun game; but it certainly has issues. P.S. EA, fix my stats! I'm a stats ***** - but fair one - and, I hate it when my stats don't reflect my actual level of play. At least in 08, when you did crash before the start of the game, you didn't get an auto loss for it. Urgh. I mean, with my 2-10 record, I am still somehow managing a +1. That's because half of those games I lost when I didn't even play! HAHA!

LW is my main. Had to play center once and won maybe 33% of faceoffs, and got stuck with goalie once. Surrender 2 goals on 12 shots, and lost... though, it should have been 3 against as we lost 4-2 with 1 empty net...

I really hate shooting with the control stick. Computer goalies are near impossible to score on. Thankfully, player goalies are pretty easy (for me). HAHA!

I haven't seen bugs yet.. well other than i'm not used tod efault controls yet (i've always sued classic in the past)... I have a bad habit of screwing up my shots.. ie deking when i want to shoot or torpedoing my slap shot or shooting when i meant to deke). HAHA!

NHL 09 is very fun, and basically a suped up 08. However, it has problems. The hits are even more ridiculous - espicially the boarding ones - and the stick lift is too easy and too perfect with little consequences for it done wrong... Plus, I'm actually trying default controls, and man do I suck at shooting with it. L0L

Yeah, but this is a Dreamcast thread so it's silly to be discussing some unknown console made by some comapny hardly anybody has heard off. If I remmeber the timeline corretcly (may be off by a bit); but DC came out about the same time the original Playstation came out (along with whatever machine Nintendo had at the time.. N64? Gamecube? L0L Lost tracked)... eaisly the worst of the three. And, yeah, I know Dreamcast still has its share of hardcore defenders; but hardcore defenders arne't enough to keep a console in business. It just wasn't good enough to compete. But, anyways, enough about the DC... Let's talk about Sega 'cause at leats they still exist... no thanks to DC which nearly bankrupted them... L0L Sonic RPG has gone gold.. who's buying it? I'm not..

Sure, it does. It's ships on the 9th (today) so depending on the delivery truck (plane, whatever0 it is posisble for stores to start selling today; but likely not. The game is scheduled for official release on 9/11. But, even then, your neighbourhood store still isn't GUARANTEED to have it in stock on that day. Once EA ships it out, their control of when they game gets to stores and then is sold is limited. Example: Some in Kanada get the game today, I likely won't have it to tomorrow, and most won't see it until Thursday. And, I have no doubt there be some crying on Thursday that x stores doens't have any copies. *shrug*

Dreamcast was not some unknown. It was made by sega a major company. It simply was a failure that failed.

9/9 is shipping. Release is 9/11. You may get lucky, and get them early; but you still aren't guaranteed to have it on 9/11. You guys made the n00b mistake of thinking that 'shipping date' = game in your hands automatically. L0L
