Sorry I meant RPG, but somehow MMORPG came out. Guess I have been playing WoW to much.

I liked fallout a lot, but it doesn't hold a candle to BG IMO. Especially the second one I can't get into at all and I've tried many times. For one thing turn based combat in that game is so slow and boring at times. The story is good, but not nearly as deep as BGs. The best part of any MMORPG are the NPCs that you bring into your party and nothing beats BG in that department.

I always like the two lines right after Luke blows up the death star and some of the other Han Solo lines as well. Obi-Wan - Whos more foolish the fool or the fool who follows him? Han Solo - You've never heard of the mellinium falcon? It's the ship that made the kessel run in less than 12 parcecs. Shes fast enough for you old man. Han Solo - Watch your mouth kid or your gonna find yourself floating home. Han Solo - Great shot kid that was one in a million. Obi-Wan - Remember the force with be with you. Always.

Not sure what it was, but I played through the original around 6 times and enjoyed all of them. I liked the story for this game and the characters, but felt little desire to replay the game. I've tried a few times, but I feel very little reason to continue playing after while. I generally have more faith in Bioware due to the fact they made the Baldur's gate and Baldur's gate 2 series which is the best RPG I've played IMO and as far as I know obsidian made Icewind Dale which I didn't like much due to the lack of characters and story. Both games are good enough for at least one playthrough though.

You have to draw the line somwhere. I doubt Lucas is playing Knights of the Old republic and saying well in this scence Qui-Gon uses Battle Meditation and then attacks Maul, but Maul makes a save. It's like those who compare lightsaber fights of old to nowadays. It's not that Luke was untrained that his attacks were wild. It's because they didn't have any martial arts people to cauriograph the fights like they do nowadays. All swordfighting was to people here in the middle ages was hacking and slashing much like what you see in Return of the Jedi.

I use the head the looks like Jackie Chan for Exile. The one that looks like Keanu Reeves for Revan.

Yes and KOTOR1 also had a few lines from the orginal movie. For fans of the originals it brings back some good memories.

I'm a big fan of BG BG2, but I couldn't get into NWN. For one thing there are no cool NPCs with voice sets that you can form into a group of 6 and quest with. Another thing that really bothered me is that the equipment didn't look like AD&D equipment. Wizards wore some kind of strange looking pants and shirts instead of robes. Plate and leather armor looked very goofy as did weapons. I really hope they do an overhaul on the graphics for NWN2.

I actually thought that tank droid was pretty tuff myself. On hard difficulty he uses a flame thrower that does around 60-80 damage per shot and he also had tuns of hp and ac. On the otherhand you could just stand in the corridor and thorw granades at him, but thats not much fun. Kreia was the best as far as resisting force powers, but force wave took care of her flying lightsabres and with master speed it's GG.

I'm not sure if it's broken, but someone mentioned the criminals quest in Telos. If you don't go to Cezerka Corp before a certain point on Telos the criminals will never apear there.

I used to have have almost all the star wars characters for toys along with GI-GO lol. There were some great battles with my friends. Of course that was long ago in a town not so far away. Forgot to add I always played as luke because I thought Jedi were cool and I liked lightsabres lol. Now I would probably go with Han.

Liked Mira - I like her attitude except when she calls you an old man. Bao Dur - I like his voice and personality. Handmaiden - Theres something about the white hair and outfit. It reminds me of the girl from the matrix. Visas - Very sweet, though sometimes she goes a little to far. T3 - My R2D2 Counterpart. To bad I don't use droids in my group due to the can't heal driods with the force problem. HK - Somewhat amusing at times Atton Rand - I never really took him with me anywhere, but he had some funny comments here and there. For a soundral he sure has a low intellegence score. Disliked Kreia - say what you will, but no matter what I say or did she was always saying that I was doing th wrong thing weather it was light or dark. Nothing seems to make her happy and I always seem to lose infulence with her during our conversations. Atris - Severe PMS and attitude problems. Very much like Carth in KOTOR1. Mandalore - kinda boring and didn't really have much to offer. Why would I take him when I can have Handmaiden/Vissas/Mira in my group? Any and all wookies due to the way they talk in these games.

I don't recall any HK/T3 fight, but I did rebuild him with no problems. Does that fight have anything to do with the part on the Ebon Hawk where T3 shoots HK? I never figured out what that was all about.

Someone had to rebel against the "wisdom" of the council, and save the galaxy. As for the Jedi, they were going to sit there and meditate until the Mandalorians blow up their stupid temple on Coruscant. Then they would get mad. Then, maybe they would've had a meeting, to discuss a meeting place to plan an attack against the new rulers of the galaxy, the Mandalorian Regime. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Good line right out of the original star wars.

I'm more concerned with the driver problems ATI seems to have with OpenGL games. Outside of these games the card has performed well for me for a few years now, but it was getting close to time for an upgrade anyway.

You don't have to be darkside. You cold just be neutral like Jolee or Kreia. Neither Jedi nor Sith.

I ordered the MSI 6600GT. The 6800 cards are around 350-450 from what I saw a bit more then I wanted to spend.

Actually it says in the game that the stronger you are in the force the weaker you are against ones such as the exile an Nilhilus. They can in fact use your own force power against you and we don't really know how strong the Exile is in the force to begin with. We know he was strong of mind because he was able to sever his connection to the force. Something no Jedi has been able to do according to the story.

Turning up brightness in the control pannel doesn't help. I'm certian it is a bug of some sort with the game engine. The only way to fix the gamma is in game and it changes to the ATI setting after every movie or leaving the game.

Lol It's to bad the girl faces are so much better then the guy faces in this game.

hmm that's odd. You can try adjusting the ingame gamma to almost maximum. Then use the ATI control panel to do the finishing touches. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The problem is that the in game gamma adjustment always defaults back to the ATI contral pannel gamma after a movie or after leaving the game.
