I can't link you directly, due to their fancy flash site. But you already saw me quoting it in that other thread. I take it that you don't believe me? Well go http://www.lucasarts.com/games/swkotor_sithlords/index.html, select Game Info, then select Chronicles, and look at the last 2-3 entires - the ones mentioning Revan.

Revan Or The Exile? Whos Stronger In The Force?

Revan all the way! -
EUII is one of my favorite games of all time (if not *the* favorite game of all time). It's from 2001, but the lead programmer still patches it in his own free time every now and then - with many of the patches offering new features and new stuff for modders to play around with.
-
Well of course HoI 2 have more replayability than KotOR II. It's a strategy game, after all. You can't compare the two. As a sidenote, it's worth mentioning that developers behind HoI 2 often keep patching their games for years - even adding new content and features from time to time. A commendable effort.

Oh but there where documents *hinting* what this society did (which was protecting the holy grail) - but this guy didn't confirm it, but chose to be all mysterious. You know, like "maybe we are doing that, maybe we aren't - I'm not saying".
-
Thus you reveal how simple it is to conceal information from you in books. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ...and there comes the personal attacks. so typically female. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Excuse me, but does it help to send a gender specific attack back at her? Using personal or gender specific attacks when failing to use proper argumentation is not particularly female to do - it's just stupid.

My only problem with Aimo's work is that she appears to have stopped drawing Bastila...

It was found in a French library, open to the public under observation (eg. you can't take the materials home with you, but you may study them in private in the library). It's not all that hard to place a a document in one of the books. But it was a good job making it look authentic. Why not tell what the society does? For several reasons. For one thing, it's more fascinating if clouded in mystery. Also, he wouldn't have to prove that the society does this and that - since he didn't directly claim that they did anything. What would he have to prove then? It was easier this way.

http://www.lucasarts.com/games/swkotor_sithlords Gameplay, then the Chronicles section. Under part XII, I have found some interesting highlights, which I have made bold: and Now I have never heard about 'him' or similar being used as a gender neutral term... but since I'm not an English speaker, I can't comment on whether that's true or not. But I think it would be odd use of it here, since it's not really necessary to give out any information about gender if written a bit creatively. But as witchzenka says; that's no reason not to play Revan as a female. I'm merely pointing out that Revan *offically* appears to be male...

This is unclear. Brown's story about them is not grounded in fact, but there is a document dating back five hundred or so years listing the members of the priory of Zion. This document doesn't say who they are or what they did and there is no mention of them anywhere else. It could have been a listing of poker champions through the ages for all we know. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The document is a fake. The people behind it admitted it to some French journalist in the beginning of the 80's or something. I recently saw a documentary on this whole thing, you see. The guy behind it had also faked some documents stating that the founder of the ancient French Empire, Charlemagne, was his ancestor...

I see no reason why Revan couldn't have been female. However, I'd still like to point out that according to the offical website(!), Revan was male...

About "priorie de sion"... I hate to dissapoint you guys, but that was a made-up organisation. It didn't exist. It was just some guy wanting attention, and decided to achieve it doing some quite clever forgery.
-
I understand your points. But what part of my quote from the offical KotOR II website didn't you see? Besides, the saving Bastila from the darkside/joining her on the darkside thing works better if Revan is male...

Speaking of funny, I stumbled across this:
-
I played male, and had no idea at all that he was a potential NPC for a female Exile... he just seemed to plain and boring.
-
She claimed that I'm too old for her...
-
Yeah, I liked that in KotOR I. And I generally don't like this "turn your whole party into Jedis" thing. I still think only Handmaiden makes sense as a Jedi - and I don't even like her, so meh...
-
Since I'd feel awkward romancing other guys, I always play male.
-
Neither Visas nor Handmaiden can compare to my sweet Bastila.
-
But if the Exile didn't have a connection to the force him/herself, then what exactly was it the 3 jedi Masters attempted to *remove*, before Kreia interrupted?
-
Their names doesn't *have* to have some meaning, you know...
-
Adding cut content to KotOR II. Some ideas...

Are you saying that it's a bad thing to have developers being so devoted to a game that they bother to patch it for years and years after it's release? -
I'd be surprised if they won't conclude this trilogy. With the ending in this one, it would be pretty annoying not to have the whole Revan story concluded. Having said that, though, I wouldn't like seeing another incomplete nightmare - so if they do not intent to do it right, then they should stop.
