  1. I still don't buy it. To me, it just looks like something LucasArts arranged because they won't admit releasing an unfinished game. And if all this cut content doesn't make sense for the story, then why did someone from Obsidian at one point post that you guys would like to do a content patch?
  2. Yeah, right. And I'm Emperor Palpatine in disguise. They would naturally have cut unwanted parts of the story BEFORE making additional modules - BEFORE having those dialogues recorded - BEFORE making cut scenes... And also, some of the cut content are clearly essential for the story. They could at least admit it, instead of making up crap reasons.
  3. Huh? I find her to look nothing like Bastila..
  4. According to IMDB, Bastila is her only character...
  5. I checked some reviews, but how was I to know that the reviewers didn't bother to report on the FULL game, but only the first half or so of it? I didn't. I do not have that luxuary.
  6. Eh... yes, you *did* say he had to look at the game. Or if not the game, then what exactly did you want him to look at? And not everyone have access to an xbox, you know. I, for one, have never even played on one.
  7. How about by looking, thats what most people do. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh is that so, smartass? Well how do you suggest he looks at the game without *buying* it first?
  8. How could he have known? Most reviews out there gives it very high grades, simply because the reviewers didn't bother to play it through...
  9. I was... It became clear to me already on Peragus that Kreia had her own agenda, and would likely turn on me some point in the future... It was really too bad I couldn't waste her.
  10. I expect that she was, since she have a party portrait hidden in the game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> True, she has a portrait, but so does B4-D4 (The Czerka protocol droid) and 3C-FD (T3s sidekick in the Prologue) and Bao-Dur's Remote, but they didn't stay in your party for all that long. It's hard to know for sure from a portrait if she was only supposed to join you briefly or if she was a permanent party member at some point during development. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I didn't say that she would stay a party member forever, did I?
  11. The first one is best, and is definately worth getting. Though it had probably been more fun if played before the second one... oh well.
  12. Atris does indeed look hot on the various KotOR II art around - however, in the game itself I find her looking and sounding too old...
  13. Anyway, how do you even know that Iridonians and humans are anatomically compatible?
  14. I think Bastila was in her early twenties in the first game, not 18.
  15. It won't be easy, that's for sure. At least not if you want it to work well in the story... I don't know, it's a pretty big dissapointment to be told in the third game that the two first games you played didn't really happen, that what you did didn't matter... How they will solve this is beyond me. But I hope Obsidian have some ideas already (I assume they must have, since they obviously use a lot of opportunities in KotOR II to set up the third game).
  16. I expect that she was, since she have a party portrait hidden in the game.
  17. I'm a Bastila guy myself. Oh, and I left Kreia out for a reason. Anyone voting for her would be either crazy and/or a freak anyway.
  18. ...which would be even worse, given the storyline and weird ending in KotOR II...
  19. Btw, I do not find it logical why they shouldn't be in KotOR II or III just because they *could* end up dead in the first game. So could Bastila (both in the LS and DS endings), but she's still around... In fact, there are other holes that doesn't make the story go fluently from the first game to the second. Why was HK-47 onboard the Ebon Hawk? Yes, most of us did have him join our parties - but afaik, it's *possible* to complete the game without buying him... no? (I haven't tried it myself, so I could be wrong) And why did Revan dissapear, even with the DS ending in KotOR I - where he didn't destroy the Star Forge, but merely took his old place again?
  20. Levelling up in the middle of a fight is a handy way to get full health without using an action...
  21. Mission would be old enough to romance... me, I think I'd just equip her with one of those dancing outfits and tie her to a pole in the Ebon Hawk cargo room.
  22. Exactly! Some of us likes to play a totally fantasy character, compltely unlike how they are in RL - while others prefer to play a buffed version of themselves. I think it's unfair to critisize for either preference. If they can make KotOR III without determining gender on neither Revan nor the Exile, that would be great. But the more games and background story, the more variables they'll have to take into account. For KotOR II, there were 4 possibilities: Revan Male, LS Revan Male, DS Revan Female, LS Revan Female, DS But for KotOR III, there will be 16 possibilities to take into account... which will make it much more complicated. At some point, they will have to either kill/forget some of the PCs - or simply determine a set gender. It would be preferable if they do not go for the latter option (assuming that the "he" they currently use is indeed meant to be gender neutral).
