  1. "Do I live in the future?" We all live in the present. :D
  2. That reminds me...I still need to get some new PC speakers. I miss that bass boom during gaming.
  3. Hubby likes it too. :D Tho he hasn't had time to finish it...he got pretty close but a busy work period intruded.
  4. I've been on lots of roller coasters and not once did I mistake the rush for love. Like that other recent thread, this kind of thing might be useful as an anti-depressant of some kind, but a 'love potion'...depends on what it does, really. If it fakes people into falling in love and then they have keep taking the potion to stay in love, that's silly - I see no point to that. The intense quick fallin-in-love rush part may be initially largely chemical, but that isn't what keeps people together for 50 years. In my opinion anyway.
  5. Flannel pajama pants and a t-shirt. And socks. Gotta keep the footises warm.
  6. Kotor2 for me. Never finished Kotor1...got bored, hated the blue chick, hated the wookie (can't stand wookies in the Kotor series...). Lots of people love it tho.
  7. I'm trying to make a huge population city. It's not about being pretty, but getting the highest population possible before the game crashes your computer from all the CPU cycles the sprites take up and such. Someone else has 52K on this map (it's the largest map currently available) before lag shut him down. I'm currently at about 19K, and with most of the fancy graphics turned off, no lag yet. I'm hoping I'll get closer to 80K. Hehehe. For reference, the screenshots show only about 1/5 of the available map size. Or something. The other guy's was a lot more efficient than mine tho. And yes city-builders like to do things like this.
  8. Is Nikki the blonde stripper character? I like her husband - I'd like his power. Plus he seems cool. And yes, she's quite crazy.
  9. Moved to correct forum.
  10. A pull-over long robe.
  11. The King - a small and rather dark dramatic film with William Hurt and a bunch of other people I've never heard of. It's an odd movie, to say the least. There's some good things about it, but the characters are, to me, generally so unappealing for various reasons that you don't really care one way or another what happens to them, and I think you're supposed to (care). It has one of those ambiguous endings, too. Well, the very final seconds that is - the main climax is pretty obvious.
  12. I'm now trying to get rid of a headache. Too much squinting at the game screen while trying to figure out housing layouts, I guess.
  13. Green. I don't like neon-green. Or green in general. Except in nature on trees and ferns and stuff.
  14. From tree into pine hedge? :D
  15. It seems to me to be referring to Independance Day (or any other such movie with long "here come the alien ship" scenes). Invasion of the PS-3, I suppose? Agree the other is a take on 2001. Definitely creepy that 2nd one. Kinda cool artistically/technically, but creepy.
  16. The Mummy (1999). 12.99 at Albertsons. Silly fun, plus lots of cute guys.
  17. This is where you wait for someone to walk by and then give the snow on the railing a slight nudge... Fun pictures, thanks for sharing those. @Sand - yeah, it's like that here too. Warmer during the day, actually still. Maybe 75-78, but then dropping to 50 at night. My kind of season.
  18. I use Adblock and that's it. I tried the Noscript, and it was pretty cool/useful, but decided adblock was all I really cared about. Plus that boopy noise noscript made by default every time it detected something was annoying. I remember switching it to a funny game-sound for a while. hehe
  19. *tries not to laugh* teehee...
  20. I'm really hyper after having not slept, and since hubby had to go to work for a while, I think I'm going to try and barrel through the last missions of the 1st Caesar4 campaign now. Caesar Crimson is my goal!
  21. I used to be pretty cold-proof, actually. But these days.... LadyCrimson = cold weather weenie Also a hot weather weenie.
  22. Some of us have more sensitive nose hair than others.
  23. That's because he was the dumbest Jedi/Sith, not the weakest. Standing and looking down at Obi like a dufus, just waiting to get cut down. Why he didn't use force push to at least try to make Obi lose his grip/fall is beyond me.
  24. "Barely above freezing mark" = around 33-35F perhaps? = really cold for non-mountain living Californians. Brrr!
