  1. I had the same thing but it turns out you have to reach Ukaizo (make sure it says it's completed in the journal) then save the game, quit, and load that save. It should unlock when you load the save. This worked for me as well, thanks.
  2. A save+quit button is trivially bypassed by Alt+F4 or force quitting the process. This is still a pointless complaint as there are lots of ways around your proposed solution, or indeed any solution.
  3. Why do you care about this one form of cheating, but not the myriad other ways in which this can be done? The achievements in this game are meaningless as it's essentially all on the honor system. If you want to cheat, there are lots of ways to do it. For Trial of Iron you can just manually copy the saved game file to a backup and then restore it if things don't go your way. It's another method of quit+load scumming and there's nothing they can really do to stop it.   5. This is kind of a long shot, but try this. The format of the saved game files is just a ZIP. Try to extract all the files from the ZIP, then create a new ZIP and copy the old name.
  6. Ok, I managed to fix this problem by using the ChangeClass console command in IEmod. I have no idea why that worked, but it did. So if anyone else has this problem, that's the solution. Just use ChangeClass <character name> <class> and walk your way through the levels and then you'll have the correct value.
  7. Because stat cheating is something that I specifically did with a known, intended outcome. Differing health numbers is a bug. I fail to see the relation. There are no differences in active effects, no active spells or consumables. I used built-in console commands to change the stats and I have no mods installed.
  8. vs Yes, I cheated the stats, but they're equivalent. Same class and level. None of them have any items or active buffs that change stats, yet they have different amounts of health. The correct amount should be 376. Now I assume that 375 is a rounding error, but where in the hell did 427 come from? I have another pair of characters, again with the same race/class/level/attribute scores, and they also have mismatching health. Why?
  9. As you can see from the attached image, my Fire Godlike has Battle Forged still applied even though his endurance is now full. I am running the GOG version and I have the 1.03 patch installed. I thought that was supposed to fix this.
  10. You get a Chanter early on, if you go to Caed Nua. There is no Rogue NPC though, so if you want one you have to make a custom.
  11. In my opinion there is a far greater threat from single, powerful enemies rather than from a horde of weak enemies. Therefore I prefer a Fighter to a Barbarian. If you specialize by weapon type you can get +25% damage with Specialization and Mastery combined. Plus Fighter has higher base Accuracy and Deflection.
  12. Might = more damage Int = longer debuff durations Dex = faster attacks The others are defensive stats and you don't need them for a DPS character.
  13. Hmm, the reload time is a killer though, especially with the nerf to the Chanter reload phrase. Do Gunner and the Chanter phrase stack?
  14. Well now that the Arbalest has been rightly nerfed (as much as I loved it, it was clearly OP). What's the overall best ranged weapon for a high difficulty or PotD game?
  15. Ah, ok. That's not something you can enchant, so you basically have to find a weapon that has that property correct?
  16. I don't really care about naming them as you only see the name when you click on the item, but what annoys me is that you can't change the base model of weapons/armor. For instance if you take plate armor and enchant it with Fine or Exceptional it still looks like plain old plate armor. The actual Fine Plate Armor or Exceptional Plate Armor looks a hell of a lot cooler.
  17. I agree completely. I also turned the voices off. It makes getting through the dialogues much slower as you have to wait for the VO to finish. They're also just not very good. Sorry, but it's the truth. Reading long dialogues was an IE game trademark and it should have been maintained. Would have saved on costs too. Remember how much reading there was in Planescape: Torment? Ahh, those were the days.
  18. You mean from the dwarf cook in Gilded Vale, yeah I got that. So still the answer is pretty much no. You're stuck with the few options you get at start. Sigh.
  19. I'm really quite disappointed in the enchanting/crafting system in this game. There are woefully few options. There are tons of unique armor/weapons with interesting properties that I'd like to be able to learn so I can put them on other items. It'd be nice if we could disenchant items to learn their properties so they can be added to other weapons. Is there something like this in the game and I just missed it, or are we really stuck with the paucity of options we have now? Thanks.
