Should I wait until the patch fixes said "gamebreaking bugs?"
all so called "game breaking" bugs are solvable atm.

I'm impressed with the game... but I used a trainer prog too...
Barbarian is not a tank, it's an aoe frontline DPS. Your main tank is either a paladin or a fighter.

all the "requirements not met" options are almost comical.
because it's an RPG? a long time ago before they modern console coup there used to be a genre called RPG.

why can't obsidian have ONE clean release ?
How did YOU measure their level of programming? All the bugs I've encountered so far go beyond standard assertion tests. From a programmer's perspective there are no problems at all. The game runs stable, doesn't crush, and when it does hang, the reason is not in the programming. This release is waaaaaays cleaner than Fallout: New Vegas vanilla ever dreamed to be.

Pillars of Eternity Storyline is very Depressing!
my insight on the story

What do rogues get from intellect?

Really nice detail in the ending
nice find! this love for little details is what makes us play IE games.

Adra Dragon [Spoiler Warning]
I did the dragon normally with rogue wizard and cipher raw dmg abilities.

Killing Backers as a way to farm early equipment and get some gold
I wish we had a hidden "publisher" achievement that involved killing ALL backers in PoE.
-
So what's everyone's favorite class thusfar?
wizard! requires most investment to get attuned to but is the most rewarding once you get into it.

Post your highest single target dmg here!
chanter arbalest

rogue and deflection
your high deflection rogue will be a gimp in ragard of the dps output. High per and res means low something else and the dps stats in this game are might dex and int.
-
Druid or Cipher (or which NPC is worse, Grieving Mother or Hiravias)
cipher is better.
- Cipher Powers

Firkraag was hard, but he wasn't cheating.
downed it on my second playthrough on hard. This boss renders any melee char useless.

I am Crap at PoE, Any Advice Would Be Loved (SOME EARLY SPOILERS)
it's impossible to fail with a cipher in your group in this game.
-
I'm stuck and frustrated [SPOILERS]
sob:: sob::

Wizard seem underperform compared to Cipher?
wizard doesn't have to charge, unlike cipher. wizard casts a lot faster, wizard has got infinite slikens on high level, and why not have both? one doesn't exclude the other.

PoE story grand erotism (spoiler)
true. Woedica is mistress here.

PoE story grand erotism (spoiler)
1. Ok, let's start with the image of the erect pillar responsible for "birth" (whether the child will be hollowborn or not). 2. Oedipus complex. Thaos is clearly a father figure and the mother figure is split among Woedica (mistress), Webb (matron), the tortured girl whose name I don't remember (a violated female). Your character is clearly the son who is in conflict with the father over the mother in all her presentations. 3. Voyerism. You don't take part in the fight over mother directly, but assume the role of a peeking voyer. At the end of the story Thaos confirms it by saying that your quarrel is long concluded. 4. Engagement provokes the fear of turning your back on the enemy.

Firkraag was hard, but he wasn't cheating.
but here there is no tactics, just revival spam and cipher/wizard or any other raw dmg boom boom.

What helped me avoid super long saving times!
1. I haven't recruited any NPCs, created a custom adventurer party. 2. I haven't picked any long text books. Dunno what helped more, but the game saves fine in twin elms.

Spells should all be per encounter
NO!
