Are the attributes for Cipher okay?
why spread for per and res? those are tanker stats. imo the optimal spread is 18 15 15 10 10 10 if you don't want to get negative modifiers. In cipher's case it's Might: 18 Constitution: 10 Dexterity: 15 Perception: 10 Intellect: 15 Resolve: 10

cipher stopped getting focus in combat!
OK, confirmed buggy item DRINKING HORN OF MEDERATION!!! it leaves a perma increase and now the focus gain is in the negative or over the limit. Any way to reset it? edit: I've just killed off my broken cipher and created a new adventurer, ty PoE for that!

cipher stopped getting focus in combat!
it worked normally at first but now it goes to -1 value and hangs there. sadness... maybe it has got to do something with the focus gain modifing items.

quest the parable of wael (bug)
if you go to gimda without burying the scroll everyone turns hostile. I think it's intented this way, however if you enter the hall of revealed mysteries, see that everyone is hostile and then go bury the scroll, everyone is still hostile when you return. IMO the burial of the scroll shoud be followed by the hostility check hall of revealed mysteries. edit: actually the hostility check didn't occur earlier when i looted the archives in stealth. But when I returned everyone was hostile, it just was at the same moment as with the scroll quest.

18/15/15 or 20/18?
So with the stat spread I've come to 2 variants. You can either go 20 for the main stat and 18 for the socondary, or you can spread a bit thinner and go for 18 for main, 15 for secondary and 15 for another one. the ramaining stats are tens in both cases, it's just me not liking being in the negative modifiers. Examples wizard str 20 int 18 a very wide aoe area and an awesome dmg output. str 18 dex 15 int 15 a narrower but still quite decent aoe, still reliable damage and a very notisable cast speed bonus. same for chipher 18, 15, 15 or for a palladin 15 str, 15 dex, 18 res or for a barbarian 18 str, 15 dex, 15 int. Plays out pretty well so far. So, my recommendation would be to stick to the formula of 18, 15, 15 for any class, any build.

Thoughts after completing the game. (spoiler alert!)
The game while enjoyed thoroughly has left me very conflicted. There were many things done with love and that love conveyed to me as a player, there were however quite a few moments that made me ask "WHY?". I'll split the things into 2 categories: 1. Gameplay, mechanics, bugs, shmugs, etc. I have only one serious complaint - engagement! Sometimes you get eng. attack because of character clipping or a simple misclick if you take the bravery of ordering without pausing. The enemies get eng. attacked too sometimes because of their inability to switch targets. Overall the engagement doesn't seem to fulfill its purpose in a real time combat and leaves an impression of the fifth wheel. Unresponsive consumables. Consumables are effected by the same cooldown as everything else. It wasn't so in BG. Potions had their own CD, you could qwaff them anytime. Since potions are emergency measures, because of 1 cd for every action they don't deliver their emergency role well in PoE. Fast combat. It's completely ok for the combat to flow fast, but i never had the chance to use any chanter incantation. OVERLOAD of everything but never what you need! Why BG was cool? Because every enchanted piece of gear mattered. I still remember where longsword+2 vascona is or which quest results in the aquisition of shield +1, +3 vs missiles, but in PoE you are stuck with unloading your stash and while the shops' selection is over the board too there sometimes just no item that your particular character needs. There comes enchanting, but it doesn't really since there is a clear disproportion in acquired materials. Everything that mobs drop is in abundance, the rest you're always lacking. And near the end the game suddenly floods you with gear and you're just too lazy to care if it's 0,0001% better or worse than yours. I never felt like changing gear mattered, and in BG I did, like always. 2. Story, art, etc. Here I'm very conflicted. I never got into why I should antogonize the "evil" guy. The idea of delivering the story through the memories of one of your former selves is great but leaves too many plot holes and is lacking in personal relation to the player's story. There were great parts, like roderic's dilemma (very nicely done!), or defience bay main story arc, but after this I felt like I was playing some other game. The politics were gone, the motivations were forsaken. Endless Paths - an utter disappointment after durlag's tower and watcher's keep. The artstyle was great and very consistent until twin elms. There everything just went down the slope. The game is a mobfest. I remember the demon at the end of BG2 "Why sould I kill this creature? - Because it exists!" While playing I've been remembering Chris Avellone's claim that they didn't have to reset the world now like in DnD but this catastrophic CHANGE THAT WOULD PROCEED never happened.

Firkraag was hard, but he wasn't cheating.
3 left for me... barely. I'm not against high damage, I can't accept that there's no way to position casters out of the dragon's aoe range.
-
How to die
engage adra dragon, unpause, study the log afterwards.
-
Does any1 else feel that 15 levels of EP are...
are much less interesting than Durlag's tower or the Watcher's keep? I mean i felt a lot more accomplished after finishing a map of the watcher's keep than a mobfest of 15 floors here.

Beat the game!
mixed feelings. Didn't like a lot of stuff, but liked a lot as well.

Firkraag was hard, but he wasn't cheating.
I mean I could always place my squishy squad at a distance, postion, do something and understand why i fail. But this adra dragon... facepalmish design.
