  1. The worst part of Lann is the forced romance attempts. The tiny fascist is even worse if you are both Good and Azata. Camellia haven't revealed much about herself to me yet. But her alignment in the Good-Evil axis is pretty obvious. Daeran is not really that bad, especially after you learn more about him, but still not a good choice for somebody who takes the Crusader as seriously as my character. And Wenduag The good characters are a different matter, all fit well with the Commander. Nenio and Greybor are... well, neutral. Woljif is a good friend and Arueshalae is something more.
  2. He only joins for his quests. My character doesn't really like the evil companions. Or at least she doesn't feel comfortable with them around. And who can blame her? Camellia, Daeran, Wenduag and Regill... I chose the Combat Morale because of your posts. I've been paying attention. It helped that the option fitted my character's view of valuing the new recruits as officers.
  3. I did Regill's quest and he was not impressed. Another round of council meetings. Do I need to say how Konomi reacted? Daeran, again, wins for the best suggestions. Not that I chose them, although one had a really good benefit. I went with combat morale instead, since I'm playing on normal and I want to try other options.
  4. Neo-Nazi gunman kills 13 during Columbine-inspired Russian school shooting
  5. I'm not planning a Swarm playthrough. And my True Neutral character might actually be LN and be one of those cheating high AC characters.
  6. A whopping 6? I have 10 playthroughs planned for WotR. One for each alignment. And my character from Kingmaker, that would greatly benefit from the Mythical feats and abilities. Realistically though, I think I'll play only the first 3.
  7. That is bad. I've been hearing conflicted things about RoP. There doesn't seem to be a consensus about wheter it is better than The Wheel of Time or not. That is enough for me to decide to skip it. I wonder how we can convince them. Maybe we tell them about beach episodes? Oops, I meant the JoJo version, of course:
  8. I remember seeing once an "auto roll" program that would keep rerolling and automatically store the best results. Isn't it easier to go ahead and cheat?
  9. When I played the EE, I cheated Minsc's stats and turned him into a Ranger/Cleric who had access to all Divine spells.
  10. Stone Ocean 23-24 Jolyne gets back to the women's wing, makes a new friend, eats nice food, and... ? These episodes were tense. And this was one of the most satisfying scenes in the whole series:
  11. Damn it! I was gonna suggest JoJo as the closest thing, but they intentionally avoided Iraq. Is Egypt close enough? You see people fighting in the desert. Edit: this takes place in 1989, hence the decision to avoid Iran and Iraq.
  12. Eiyuden Chornicles: Rising. This game is beautiful.
  13. Eiyuden Chronicles: Rising This game is a prequel for Eiyuden: Hundred Heroes, the “new Suikoden”. Unlike the latter, this one is a different type of game, a platform instead of an RPG. It looks great and has familiar elements from Suikoden, like the smithy who sharpens your weapons, Runes (there is a menu for them, however I have yet to find any), baths and even rumors of an evil empire invasion threat. You play as CJ, an “honorable scavenger” who goes to the New Nevaeh village, where there are plenty of treasure finding opportunities. The gameplay is quite simple and repetitive, just a series of quests to be done in the same 3 locations so far. The combat is also extremely simple, even if you don’t choose the “simple mode”. You can do some chain attacks when you get another character and use a special move for each one and that is it at least for the early game. The bosses demand more thinking and strategy, but are not difficult. Despite all that, I’m enjoying it a lot.
  14. Stone Ocean 21 F.F. discovers something important. Jolyne sucks at math. Stone Ocean 22 Jolyne makes a choice. The baby wakes up and it is hungry! Some great scenes in both episodes. The fights, no doubt, but I have to mention these:
  15. Terendelev’s lair. Core of Riddle I also had a random encounter with a level 19 Vrolikai that appeared right behind my party. Luckily it was Frightened even by the -20 check with Swift Mythic Dazzling. Befouled Barrows
  16. We have a saying here in Brazil: "I'll laugh so that I don't cry." Perfect for this. I almost choked drinking coffee with the "democracy" at 0:07. The only thing missing in the video is the Bolsonaro clan's language in social media (the worst in swearing and vulgarity, definitely not what you would expect from a president and congressmen - his sons and nephew) and the fact that the alternative is Lula, who seems to be trying really hard to sabotage himself in this election. He already confessed his corruption, robbing public money and even said that it is ok to beat women, so long as you don't do it at home... This is incredibly accurate and up to date and the data about the Amazon is really sad. Wait a few weeks and you'll hear about the "Brazilian Capitol". I would comment on all the irregularities in the "Car Wash Operation", but you can simply scroll down that page and see the "related" news. It is all there.
  17. Stone Ocean 19-20 Plants, babies and tongues! I laughed hard when Jolyne tried to explain to Anastasia what was happening and he assumed she meant something else.
  18. James Webb Space Telescope's 1st images of Mars reveal atmosphere secrets
  19. It seems Enhanced Edition will have some much needed improvements and unexpected additions too: - Better pet management - Inventory search - Expanded combat log - Photomode I accidentally read a spoiler tag and it has been datamined that if you play as Devil, you will be able to
  20. I got all the councils now. I chose to upgrade to Conscripts for roleplay reasons, despite looking like the worst choice... Also, lots of meetings including Cheliax criminals that were ignored by Regill and Lann explaining how the Mongrels are keeping the city free of rats. The Free Crusaders were up to something as usual, this time literally up. Ember was kidnapped and I’m glad she was not taken to the Abyss or she would convert Baphomet, Deskari and the whole bunch, ending the game prematurely. My Persuasion now reaches the 60s with buffs, excellent for Mythic Dazzling Display. And Sosiel’s Elk has better AC than Seelah’s horse.
