  1. Killed all the slavers I could in the Flesh Markets. I left the meat ball that captured Suture for last and even so it was a huge mess. One moment the boss had lost a few dozen hp, then I focused on healing the party and when I checked again he had lost 500 more hp. I didn't have patience to scroll up the log and find out who did it, but it was either Seelah, Arue or one of the summons. After he died, I moved the whole party away to heal again. Surprisingly the battle still hadn't ended. A few guards still fought with my summons and Krebus, who I left alive because he sold some useful items, decided to join them and bite (???) my summoned Shadow Demon. I guess he is as crazy as the slaves he sold. I couldn't find the Pathfinder guy after the battle. He probably didn't make it.
  2. Chainsaw Man 1 If you don't like blood, this is not for you. Denji hunts devils with Pochita (his pet chainsaw devil dog) to pay the debt his dead father left him. Chainsaw Man 2 Denji is recruited and joins the devil hunters. He wants to work with Makima, but ends up living with Hayakawa, a guy who doesn't like him, and paired with Power, a crazy devil possessed girl. Edit: it's devil, not demon. I"m playing too much WotR.
  3. More fun in the Abyss I went to the slave market, aka “how to lose your money if you are Good”*, where I discovered that being Lawful is being pro-slavery. Ok. Someone tried to sell my Aasimar some Aasimar fillets. Everyone always ignores my background as a noble, but not noticing an Aasimar in the Abyss is far worse. Ember is probably the only person who will be happy when somebody tries to turn her into a slave. And I don’t wanna know how Arue paid the floating meat ball when buying slaves. *I was buying the slaves to free them, planning on killing all the slavers later, once I was sure they wouldn't serve any other purpose, but Aivu was impatient so I decided to reload and not waste my money, regardless of the consequences. I'll see how it goes tomorrow, when I play again. Early Sunset
  4. Unfortunately no. The last scene might have been more satisfactory.
  5. Exactly. But they could include the 9 alignments in alternate dialogues. Some options are already in the game, like the LE and CG above. Or they could at least include LG options for Paladins.
  6. The conversation with the mother of the boy diving into the abyss ocean is a good example of that. The Lawful option is clearly evil. And the Chaotic one is closer to CG. Maybe they didn't want to write more dialogue lines and simplified to using just these four? Edit: it could have been worse. There could be an option like (Evil) "I'm killing you and the boy!"
  7. Met a few cowards that didn't want to fight or ran away quickly, though the woman with the boy probably avoided a fight because she is not stupid. Soul Hunter couldn't run away in the rooftops after being Frightened. The rooftops seem like the perfect place for Dazzling Display, but I had to save before using Dimensional Door since sometimes the party would split. Edit: funny that Mutasafen, who is immune to Fear, escaped so quickly.
  8. First day in the Abyss: Suture steals from the Hand, Nenio wants to copulate and Ember wants to meet Nocticula. That will be interesting. And I met with the guy I saved in Leper’s Smile. Good riddance.
  9. Gundam: the Witch from Mercury 3 Well, this turned into a harem anime fast. Suletta defeats Guel again and he proposes to her. She is still engage to Miorine. And there are at least two other guys interested in her.
  10. I reloaded a game in Neathholm and got the same message, as if I had completed the "Kill the Giants" part of the quest. The bugs in act 3 are gone though. There were some dialogues triggering again and visiting the Azata's court prompted the dialogue to give the place a name. Twice.
  11. It does. If you press "esc" at the right time, you can get some pretty interesting results: Poor Minagho. The Knight Commander can be such a headache!
  12. Finished act 3. Galfrey’s reaction wasn’t that bad. The Hand defending me, however, pissed her off. In the end she fired me, sent me to the Abyss and had the gall to tell me: “Wish me luck as well.” Minagho is gone for good. Will she be reborn as Abyss maggots? Noticed some strange things going on, but I doubt they have any serious consequences: Woljif disappeared again, but I imagine they simply forgot to include him in the scene. Why did Ilkes (one of the Free Crusaders) cast Protection from Good? Gresilla said she wanted to go to the surface, but couldn’t and talked about a follower of Iomedae. Is that Hulrun? Wish I could see them together. Oh, and the little time I played on Unfair bugged the game. I received three “Core” achievements, for defeating the demon in Drezen, a boss in Ivory Sanctum and the water elemental in the prologue. Maybe the game assumed I had been playing on Unfair since the beginning and gave me those achievements? Since I’m on a new map, I’ll update to EE. No problem now with old dialogues being triggered again, since everything is new. I'm currently Court Poet 13/Thug 1/Oracle 1. I'll remember your tips and @majestic's when I replay the game on higher difficulties. I only tried Unfair out of curiosity, I'm back on normal now.
  13. Ok, that was not Unfair. I did change the difficulty to Unfair, but I decided to try again and this time PD had more HP and was immune to Shaken and Frightened. Not sure what happened. I managed to decrease its hp from 1064 to 1040 but it regenerated almost instantly.
  14. Well, thanks for posting this. I was about to buy this game. Now I'll at least watch a combat video before considering it.
  15. I saw only a few scenes of RoP and it was enough to notice some of the problems @majesticmentioned. I don't think I'll see any more of it. I'm enjoying House of the Dragon so far as at least it has an interesting story and the dialogues are much better than the little I saw in RoP. Now let's hope the show is not cancelled immediately so that these guys don't end up involved in a possible Cosmere tv show. And talking about that, wasn't there a rumor once that Beniof and Weiss would join the Rings of Power team? Not sure how that would have turned out, better, worse or simply a different kind of terrible.
