  1. Not sure if Playful Darkness is supposed to be a challenge on normal, but seeing an enemy with 32 levels I used every single buff I had and summoned even level 1 dogs. The creature rushed in my direction, apparently ignoring the summons so I went for the good and old Dazzling Display and that was the end of the battle. I had to keep using it until it was dead. For whatever reason my Persuasion was considered 8 points smaller for the check, but it was still higher than the DC. Edit: raised the difficulty to unfair and tried sneaking and using Dazzling Display before being noticed. It worked and my skill value was still above the DC. Killing it with the new AC and HP values is another matter. Edit 2: Bad timing with the Dazzling Display resulted in my character now having -455 hp. No more unfair for me.
  2. Midnight Fane I'm trying to save the minotaur, but there is an invisible barrier preventing my party from approaching the enemies and the door to the passage around won't open. Is this normal? Edit: with Haste I managed to defeat them from the other side of the barrier. This doesn't make sense. It must be a bug.
  3. I liked the dialogue part, but hated that I couldn't leave the capital and play the game while the stats were being upgraded. They fixed this with WotR decrees. When I replay Kingmaker the least I'll do will be reducing the time for upgrades by half with mods. This should be enough to play the game freely without worrying about timers.
  4. If you like BG, chances are you will like these games too. I enjoyed Kingmaker a lot, even though it can be really annoying at times. If you are interested in both games, I suggest playing Kingmaker first because WotR has many improvements and I imagine it will be a little disappointing going back to the first one. WotR has an ability to dispel your own spells, for example, that was sorely needed in Kingmaker. I remember looking at the exit or the direction I had to go in a cave with Web and Grease on the floor and trying to decide what was the best option: waiting, slowly moving the party one step at a time, setting up camp or never using those spells again.
  5. I think they are all Schroedinger's dragons and if not shown, they might be dead. I mean, how many dragons are supposed to exist? Who is a rider? Rhaenys? Luke and Jace? Aemond went alone in the dragon pit and was scared by a big one. Does anyone ride it? Was he trying to bond it?
  6. Isles 11 and 12 were buggy. Their magical effect would randomly stop and prevent Seelah from riding. And the exit didn't appear once, but I left using the icon in the entrance. Last boss:
  7. Nine isles done. Made almost half a million gold selling the spoils. And I didn’t sell everything. I went back to Drezen to check on the Crusade and there were all kinds of troubles. A Fort under siege, Arue under arrest and Hulrun wanting to be my best friend. Holy ****, the guy won’t change. He accepted he was wrong, but… wrong in not torturing the Desnans. Imagine if he announced himself before Anevia talked about Arue in prison. I’d probably have blamed him. He did ask about her later, when I found him near the obelisk.
  8. The survey, for those who haven't seen it in the other thread. Don't forget to pick the options for puzzles and romancing Lady Konomi.
  9. I'm also playing the isles DLC. Made it to the third one so far. The Court Poet song helps a lot against people going mad when casting spells. I even forgot about it and got surprised by Ember attacking the party with her crossbow. Seelah's mercy was good too.
  10. House of the Dragon 8 Quite an interesting episode. And people say everything so far was just "the prologue".
  11. Edit: that is not exactly a "random" squad. They are among the strongest enemies in this act, at least if you don't metagame.
  12. Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury – episode 2 More focus on the corporations, less on the school. A better direction imo, since it is more likely to lead to mobile suit battles (duels among students don't count).
  13. I'll be more careful with the spoilers. What I mentioned was vague or what was already mentioned in episode 12, but the gifs might be a different story.
  14. Wait, what is Aivu doing in Arue’s dream?? She wasn't even in the tavern and Arue didn't touch her. Luckily nothing inappropriate happened there.
  15. They are bringing back everyone, right? Is Tasha Yar confirmed? Edit: I'm just guessing. Don't blame me if it happens.
  16. Ok, I figured it out. I didn't pick the Xanthir option, the first one in the dialogue. Now he didn't talk about calling the Queen* and he will stay there guarding the city. Aivu wants to attack soon, but I think there is no timer. *Unless I rushed through the dialogue and missed it, but I think he didn't mention her.
