Good question. Also, considering that Wizards have extra spells from grimoires, are there any plans to give something to Druids and Priests? -
So, if you meet a redhead called Tiffany...

the spider has incredibly high defenses, so high that the average player won't be able to land a hit on it. The arena where you fight it spawns normal spiders infinitely, and killing one of them reduces the big spider's defenses by 1. So you have to kill enough little spiders to get the big spider's defenses down to a level where you can take it out, but you can't just run around ignoring the big spider because it has very powerful petrify attacks and the ability to inflict permadeath on party members. It's an interesting setup and pretty tense This is cool. Can't wait to fight it and see what they come up for the other megabosses. -
I prefer them in Deadfire too. I bet many people will change their opinions about the classes they don't wanna play as they fix (or nerf!) the abilities. We still have a long way to go on balancing... Very interesting ideas for Warlocks and Priests. Thanks Boeroer. I intended to have a Viking custom party for Deadfire since before the game was released. Just pillage and attack everyone (not necessarily in the beginning). The party will include my Magranite Watcher and a fire warlock, definitely!

Rumours about acquisition by Microsoft
InsaneCommander replied to Aoyagi's topic in Obsidian General
What if we could send him on Stronghold adventures to "support" the factions? Let them see who is annoying! -
Who knows, maybe it's in their nerf list. Anyway, Druids should have an extra spell too. I wouldn't mind if it was not a free choice, but something of their subclass. Wizards get two spells from the grimoire... But I still want to play as Druids because I like the class. And Priests offer a lot of rp.

I like how priest subclasses in Deadfire are almost like different classes. I'll definitely play as a Fire Godlike Priest of Magran eventually. I just don't know what other class to choose for multiclass. Probably a Corpse Eater for rp or a Skald. Maybe in PoE3 the gods will reveal why the refuse to acknowledge their priests. Who knows, maybe they don't even know the clergy exists.

Ok. Maybe I shouldn't have angered Galawain... -
I'm still on my first pt, but these are my least favorite classes: - Fighter: I usually prefer casters, but even when I play as a melee character I prefer to have some special abilities that look... well, special. So I don't feel like playing with the sword and shield guy (or whatever weapons they have) - Monk: doesn't look like what I expect from a fantasy setting. I'm definitely happy they are in the game, but it is the class with the smallest appeal for me - Ranger: I don't really like the abilities they have, even though animal companions are cool. I could use them when multiclassing, but I'll probably end up with other options Considering PoE1 too and not counting companions, the only classes I've never played are fighter and monk. I did have a ranger in PoE1 but only because I found a very nice portrait including a bear and I really liked the Stormcaller build. Edit: I also never played as a barbarian, but I like the class. Maneha was one of my favorite companions.

That moment you don't know if you are in the tv topic thread, the funny stuff or the weird and random things.

Go visit as many areas as you can. Find as many companions as possible (4 in act I) and hire one adventurer to have a full party. If you find enemies that are too powerful, you can always reload a save (there will be an autosave once you enter a new area) and come back later. Each time you level up things will be easier and you can try again, until you get more levels and explore every area available. Once you have a bigger party, more items and abilities, the game will be easier. Versatility helps a lot.

"Loaded pockets" is enough reason to play as a rogue again.
