Not sure if you joking but why would a drone controlled by a pizza franchise that is delivering pizza be an issue? Its designed to also reach more inaccessible areas in the USA....so more people can eat pizza than ever before, of course this can be seen as a negative but I am not talking about people abusing pizza I believe my post in #2 encapsulates my opinion of the entire discussion. In short, I'm not taking it seriously. Yes automation is going to take away some jobs. That is hardly new. We'll do something else. As long as humans are humans and don't morph into ants or bees (or insert other hive species name here) communisim will not be a viable option for anything other than forum chatter and scaring people to vote for the Republican candidate in the US every four years or so.

The mouthpiece of the Democrat Party corporate wing (the NY Times) being criticized by the mouthpiece of the Democrat Party communist wing (Rolling Stone). Like I said... comedy

Really? I must have missed it. It was a while ago when the video first came out. It's definitely closer to reality now though. As for the robots will rise up and kill us thing, I hope science fiction has taught us to treat robots with respect when they achieve sentience. If you could have your own personal live-in #8 would you treat her with respect?

Keeping in the baseball theme I'm now reading Slouching towards Fargo by Neal Karlan. Also reading George Washington: The Crossing by Jack E. Levin. It's about Washington's victory at Trenton. Watching the show Turn has rekindled my interest in the American revolution.

After a long day at work and a rousing game of chase with the pups and feed-the-finicky-ungrateful rabbit with the rabbits I think I'm going to pour three fingers of Kentucky's finest and veg out to Classic Rewind in XM Radio for the rest of the night.

Yeah there was nothing going on here!

In his opinions of executive power yes. That is not a good thing.

If McGwire had stayed off the juice his career would have ended in Oakland due to chronic back problems. It sucks that some of Baseballs most venerated records are being held by players who cheated. But keeping them out of the hall, making believe that the feats didn't happen at all while they are still in the record books is repaying a wrong with another wrong. Letting them in is bad but it's less bad than pretending they never existed.

http://www.budk.com/dailysteal.aspx Can't speak to the quality but it's not like I'm actually going to use it for anything Did you buy a NCO sword while you were in?

Bonds was a great player before he got on the juice. It didn't make him a great player, it just made him a great player longer than he should have been.

I don't know where you guys get the idea Garland is some kind of moderate. He is a staunch opponent of the 2nd, 5th & 10th Amendments and he has some strange ideas about what Executive power and the Necessary & Proper clause of Article I is all about. He is as anti-liberty and left wing as any of the four of the liberal bloc we currently have. If he ends up on the court (and some of the Republicans are already getting weak-kneed about opposing him) it will be a devastating blow to Americans who value the sanctity of the rights guaranteed by the Constitution and limitations it places on the government. In other words, not just no but hell no.

There has been some serious manpower reductions. And a number of new ships that were ordered were canceled. Not saying the they should have been or not. Just that they were.

No, the Cubans in the United States are here legally. The Cuban Adjustment Act of 1966 confers on them refugee status.

I watched Rubio's speech. I wish he could go back in time to the day he was elected to the senate and read himself that speech. It might have changed his conduct in office and his outcome today.

Hey it IS sort of like the Senate!
