Mkreku, I'm considering reporting this thread as the image may be too strong for some viewers, we do have very sensitive people here after all. The insane carnage in that photo may permanently damage someone with delicate sensibilities. But, due to the seriousness of the thread, and the fact that such things as the chaotic weather systems in Sweden are something that need to be recognized by the world at large, I won't raise a fuss. And I'm with Role-Player...that poor, poor chair.

When "obeying Mandalore" or "going against Mandalore" was talked about in KoTOR, it was more of the sense of what Mandalore had taught the clans, rather than the actual man himself. And the clans had been entirely too scattered for another Mandalore to fully arise and make any kind of name for himself during the period of KoTOR.

Not to add fuel to the fire, but... The only reason for the CD registration is to keep those who have played the game from hopefully mixing in the forums with those who haven't, thus cutting down on the spoilers. It's not to tag anyone or keep track of anyone, it's to keep those nasty spoiler demons at bay. Thus, if you rent the game, or buy a used one, you'll still be able to access the forums, even if the CD-Key for that game has already been used. Banning by CD Key is rather a waste of time, anyway. Banning by username is much faster, a great boon for those at Bioware, considering they are also the devs and QA guys. Most people get the hint after going through the trouble of creating one alternate. I think you answered your own question. Your "last trolling account". A simple IP verification showed it was you, along with checking the CD key, so why should they bother with a warning? You know that you're in their sights, you know that you'll be a lot less likely to get away with anything even marginal considering your past history. Warnings are a courtesy, not mandatory. Posting images sucks up enormous amounts of bandwidth. Too many images for a board the size of Bioware's would bog it down, and create gigantic costs. The LucasForums are not an official KoTOR forum. They are for the fans and by the fans. Official Lucas policy does not apply. The reasons why Bioware cannot discuss that are moot. LucasArts told them not to, they can't, end of story. Come on, if anyone were mod friendly, it would be Bioware. They created a game solely for the purpose of modding, after all.

I agree, as it somewhat makes sense. The Jedi Master archives were with the Jedi Academy on Dantooine, so wouldn't it make sense that the Sith Master archives would be with the Sith Academy on Korriban? It makes perfect sense that Revan would go there to get access to those archives and try to piece together the jigsaw puzzle the Jedi Council made of his memories. As Malak told him on the Leviathan, they didn't just keep him alive, they completely programmed him with a new identity, new memories, etc. Trying to sort out what is and and what isn't real would be a majour priority for any sane sentient, IMHO. Besides, this explanation also works for both Light and Dark side Revans, both Male and Female. Also, it does make sense that he would vanish after accessing them. Perhaps he found out something about himself that required him to go into isolation, find something, set something right, or finish something altogether. The possibilities are wide.

To answer the previous question about the dance audition, yes, your dexterity played a key part in whether or not you fell on your butt doing the more complex moves, or any of the moves at all.

It was my understanding that Mandalore was killed during Revan's ascent (descent?) to becoming the Dark Lord. It wasn't until after the Mandalorian Wars were over (according to various K1 convos) that Revan and Malak disappeared to the Outer Rim and came back changed (one assumes after finding the Star Forge). I believe that Revan saw Mandalore as a thread purely in the sense that he was the leader of the Mandalorians, the force he was trying to destroy. You cut off the head, the snake will eventually die.

Which also explains why you start over again at 1st level.

How odd...I had made a post about this and it's not here...Hmmm... I'll go and edit the post in the Disappointment thread. As for what is taboo in discussion, the release date is now off limits. If it must be discussed, use PM, if you would. It's pretty much been proven that the threads cannot exist on topic and without insults without constant supervision.

Could have sworn I locked this. *sigh* sorry about that... Edit: Okay, not sure what's up, but I'll post here, hopefully it will stick. I don't think everyone quite realizes how much pruning has been done on these two threads, and quite frankly, I got to looking at what would be pruned in the last few pages of this one and realized there were only a handful of actual on topic posts. Insulting forum members and spam seems to have taken center stage. As such, it's getting closed. And it will not be reopened. There won't be another one. Any other release date threads will be locked.
