  1. Yes - just lay 15 mines near the entrance to another area (where the game has to load). go thru and lay 15 mines there, return to area one, pick up the mines and lay them again, go back to area 2 and.... so on and so forth.
  2. Oh - for some reason, if you are doing the Hssiss glitch and are ls and have something regenerative equiped (I usually put a biorestorative underlay in for that) you simply do not die. So no alignment hit.
  3. Usually Atton and Bao-Dur. Sometimes Mandalore and Bao-Dur. When I tortured myself with a high-inf Disciple game, Disciple and Bao-Dur. LOL (And still did not get all the Disciple cutscenes.) As a male, usually Visas and Kreia, or Visas and Mira.
  4. You have shown yourself repeatedly to be not worth my time. but have fun! I have a saying. "Never argue with a pig. You'll both get dirty and the pig will enjoy it." You show yourself to be a low misogynist who knows little of history or anything useful or germaine to the argument, so from now on, I'm just going to ignore your small-minded ranting. Have fun.
  5. An alignment hit for what? It doesn't do anything to your alignment to use ds powers, if that's what you mean. It helps to have a decent Charisma, though.
  6. You can only upgrade items with T3, iirc.
  7. Don't remember my Revans offhand, but my favorite male Exile was Varus Saelo. The females include Tyrza Kynarro (my fave), Shessa Loro, Vanora Ender (in honor of my favorite book), and Emrethe Abrahan.
  8. The website linked also says that you can use T3 to break items down. You can't.
  9. Brutality is no match for subtlety. Kreia could manipulate Malak into doing himself in. That or nag him into it. Kreia.
  10. Some lightsiders actually cannot be killed in the Hssiss glitch - try equipping something with regeneration and letting them beat you to death, and see if you actually die (save first, obviously). You may not need to waste medpacks. And make sure you have at least two ranks of drain Force, one rank did nothing.
  11. My husband plays females frequently online and in regular games (inc pen and paper rpgs with no half-nekkid pics). He can accurately role-play a female so well he's had males get crushes on who they perceive him to be. He has no trouble roleplaying a female and roleplaying a romance with a male, like Revan and Carth, for instance. I think it is very true that MANY men will not play a female without getting eyecandy... but it is certainly far from true to say this is how it is across the board. Far from true and a great disservice to the men who can and do play as a female and enjoy doing so from time to time.
  12. OK, I'm "thumbing" through that official site (and listening to Sion's voice saying "Good, Good!" ) And it strikes me this is not a completely accurate site. It's very pretty and nice to play with... but it claims the Sith attacked Iridonia during the Mandalorian Wars, which kinda goes against the timeline and what Bao says in game. It says "When the Mandalorian Wars began, Sith forces struck the Outer Rim Iridonian colonies with a vengeance." That's under Bao's character description.
  13. Saying the usage could be gender neutral only means that Revan's sex is not determined, not that Revan is automatically female. It would be something of a farce if Revan's sex were officially determined.
  14. You can easily do the Hssiss glitch ls if you put a couple ranks into Drain Force.
  15. I apologize too, and won't argue here anymore either.
  16. And in the entry before that, they go out of their way to avoid giving Revan a gender unless they absolutely have to in order toa avoid using "they" or "it". Like I said, seems a matter of convenience. If they'd gone straight in calling Revan a man and mentioning his love for Bastila, I'd be of a different opinion.
  17. It seems fairly likely in the context they use the pronoun out of convenience, like calling God "He" when, in the original languages, the gender was non-specific. English does have one non-gender-specific pronoun, but "it" is seen as impolite or disrespectful and is rarely ever applied to humans past the fetal stage - and even then it's not a popular usage.
  18. Ok, they mention "he" a couple of times, but they go out of their way to avoid mentioning a sex at any point where they absolutely do not have to (even creating some awkward wording) - lending some credence to "he" being used as a convenience, like referring to God as "He" when in the original languages, a gender is not specified.
  19. It's not a matter of not believing you, but if I should need to quote it, and I actually quote you quoting them.... then I'm telling a "My mother's cousin's neighbor's dog" story. LOL
  20. I still need someone to link me to the "officially" part, because I can't find it.
  21. darknesslord, that is not right either! That is in some ways even worse.
  22. I've been thinking a bit more about this too - and while Bastila is not your sister, you do have that Force Bond, making her pretty much... your sister. LOL
  23. Sion does seem to have many characteristics of an abuse victim - the shattered body not least of all.
