Well, that is explained in game, and even better if you look around on the boards a little. In the game: The facility went haywire and all the Czerka employees were kicked out by droids. Notice only one human is inside of base, and he is friendly? Apparently they can't message Czerka command about this (or help would have been sent, and you would have been warned). Deeper Stuff: Goto was the original droid intelligence for Telos, therefore he had access to everything Czerka on that planet. That research facility he took over and began manufacturing HK droids out of. Conveniently, Czerka and the Exchange were all close and cozy at the time, and so he found it easy to infiltrate the Exchange ranks and gain access to their near infinite resources. There, one plot hole explained, and Goto's character almost completely explained. What more could you ask for?

Kreia implies to the Exile that Revan never actually fell. I mean, sure, he fell on the surface. The same way Atton is over-emotional and a fool, on the surface. Revan never ceased being himself, and he demonstrates this in slight choices. He did not obliterate the Republic... why? He needs it intact. If he had truly fallen, he wouldn't need it intact, the Star Forge had all the power he would ever need. Revan did not want to use the Star Forge any more than nessecary because it would consume him, and he feared he would lose control. This is not some fan-invented idea that Revan never fell, Kreia tells us, and who knew Revan better than Kreia?

How soon can you start leveling in prestige class?
Helton replied to Sir Fink's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
You have to be level 15 and somewhat close to either dark or light side. If you are near the center, you'll have to wait. -
He would have remembered Kreia if she had been his master.

No, you never meet the "True Sith" in this game, only hear whispers about them from Kreia. Mak-Sim Malinin has it right. Edit: as for Malachor V, the gravity sucks in those ships, Bao-Dur essentially turned the planet into a small Black Hole, from my understanding.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.

How long do you think it will be before the patch?
Helton replied to Eplebit's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I find it odd this patch wasn't already completed, what with all the time between X-box and PC release. Hopefully that means it actually does something. within 2 weeks sounds like a fair estimate. -
Bloody awesome!

Would I pay for this content? No, I wouldn't. God(Ala, Bast, whomever) bless the creator of this thread and everyone who has even looked through those sound folders. To me, I have the missing endings. I don't need to see them on screen thanks to the wonderful editing Eji did for us, they are already clear to me. I refuse to reward LA and/or OE for this huge blunder. That being said, I get to have my cake and eat it too. I know how the game should have ended and it couldn't be more open-ended for the 3rd one. It all depends on your point of view.

Ah, that makes sense, thanks.

You didn't give us much to go on... Did you, by chance, do Dxun last? If so, you'll need to just kind of hang around for an hour or so before the scripts kick on.

Go to the Influence Guide If that doesn't help... I don't know what will.

When entering the Ebon Hawk, almost without fail, there is a quik flash of a character next to Bao-Dur, and then he is gone, and the game scans for any over-due cut scenes. Never in the game has that character remained intact, and he is never there long enough for me to make out any details. There are small flashes like this throughout the game, none of them I can remember off-hand (except a guy next to Revan on Korriban). I just kind of passed them off as characters that are supposed to be there under different circumstances (if I played the other allignment, or something). Is that flash on the Ebon Hawk the Disciple? A left-over model of Canderus (it's where he stood in the first game)? I'm pretty sure it isn't the Wookie. I'm curious because, with all the things being cut, who knows what other little things could have been left in...

My interpretation is that, though it has a will of it's own, the Force does not have a light and dark side. The Force is above such pety things as good and evil. Force sensitives can use the Force (and are used by it), they can use it for light or dark (or good/evil). Much like a gun, the tool itself is not good or bad, what matters is who uses it, and how.

He didn't destroy it, he stunned it and fiddled with it's systems (he likes controlling every droid he sees). That's how he was able to re-program it at the end. That's the impression I got anyways.

You all missed the point...

Gluupor? GLUUPOR?! ... We're doomed. -
The divide or multiply is random on every game, but it only accepts one. This is stated in the Gamefaq's guide, and judging from the responces here it is correct. The blocks? That's easy. a b c d-first block b e d f-second block e g f h- third block. Those are the three blocks, essentially. rotate 1st block to the left will give you: b d a c While to the right will give you: c a d b Any clearer now?

Palpatine. Nihlus is a tool, as is Scion. The way of the Sith is not brute strength, it is manipulation and timing. Maul and Anakin are good examples of very strong Sith who never attain any true power to speak of, they are tools. Palpatine blinds the entire Jedi order, he transforms a galactic republic into an empire under his command. Nihlus would have killed and killed until there was nothing left, or until the force created something that could beat him. Most Sith would have sided with the Confederation and been crushed. Palpatine was the only one smart enough to side with the people he wanted to conquer. While many other sith have been strong, only Palpatine has achieved that true and ultimate power.

My mistake, "This blaster belonged to Benok."

I've found Bendak's Blaster in TSL, I'll check the description later, but I remember it didn't go into detail on who Bendak was, just that this was his blaster. Better than a mining laser, but not all that useful.

What the Jedi masters hoped to accomplish
Helton replied to hawk's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Generally, if a character in a video game, book, or movie says something definatively, it is true unless action or other characters directly contradict it. If we assume Kreia knew nothing and was lieing the whole time then we have very little, if any, ground to stand on when forming theories... -
What the Jedi masters hoped to accomplish
Helton replied to hawk's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Unfortunately, there are few Jedi left alive who were not Sith at one time or another (or affiliated with them). I refer to the code as the entire teaching, not the little 5 sentence mission statement. I'm talking about the entire Jedi lifestyle and training techniques. Kreia and Revan saught something greater, and it is too simple to pass them off as Sith, as neither was satisfied with the Sith teachings either. The Exile's old mentor expresses the best view to support my position. The Exile was the only chance they had to find out what was wrong in their teachings. He is very sure that there is something wrong. The fact that so many Jedi fall is evidence enough. -
Kreia says the link resulted from Kreia and yourself being near eachother unconscious for so long. You also have something in common (being cut off from the force). In cut dialogues it is said that if one member falls to the dark side a link can be broken. Finally, she sought you out because you willingly cut yourself from the force and lived, she wants to understand how, and why. "He did it because he was afraid." was her conclusion(does she have another for dark side? I haven't gotten there yet)... Though I doubt she was correct.

What the Jedi masters hoped to accomplish
Helton replied to hawk's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
But the code is flawed. Kreia knew it, as did Revan. Atris sees it, so do the Council, though they do little to correct it. The teachings are wrong, and that is why so many leave so easily. Who is to blame? The pupil who knew no better, or the teacher who taught no better? The Jedi Masters, and their never changing code are at fault. -
Got to wonder how he was scattered all over the freaking Galaxy, though.
