Once again, Yep. That's the point I was aiming for. Except, once again, for 1 detail. The Exile forms bonds, and manipulates the Force through other things. This is stated by Kreia and the Jedi Masters on LS. If he actually stayed in one place too long, he would feel the Force, and be forced to come to terms with his special condition.

Yet another question about the ending
The Great Phantom replied to Darth Dodo's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Yep. However, he can still be controlled by the Force (once again, Deflection), but he walks outside of it. I suppose it's like seeing a stampeding herd of buffalo headed right towards your primitive settlement, only being in a helicopter. You're involved, but on a totally different scale. Technically I suppose you could be outside of it, but the Exile gets involved, which is sorta like hovering low with your machine gun trained on the advancing herd, as a warning. You're in it now, but you can get out whenever you want. Edit: Plus, Nihilus was already dead. He sucks the life-force out of people to fill in the gaps where his own once flowed, so he's more like a high-speed stealth bomber. The Exile is just outside of the Force, and is the helicopter: too small for the bomber to notice, but big enough to possibly caus some trouble, with the right tactics. -
Continuity kills KOTOR
The Great Phantom replied to Cerebus's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I think that a menu could be deployed in Kotor III. I already know how to do something like that, but on a more simple method. There could be a Revan section, where you select Male/Female LS/DS, and the same for and Exile. Then you could select a face, or, if that's too extreme, they could be masked like Mandalore. I know Revan is not my character. I just (like most people) formed strong emotional attachments to the whole concept of Revan. The beauty of it is that he's not mine. Neither is the Exile, for that matter. In Kotor III I like the idea of a totally new character, with Exile/Revan as cameos or NPC's. Just to get a little resolution in there. -

A little question about a certain Jedi
The Great Phantom replied to KOTORFanactic's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Palpatine is "New Age." The older the Jedi get (in the Star Wars timeline), the more powerful they seem to become. Edit: Plus, as Kreia said: "Power has blinded (them) long ago." -

A little question about a certain Jedi
The Great Phantom replied to KOTORFanactic's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
That's true, I almost forgot... However, I personally believe that she did use her powers, but only through her bond w/ Revan. She probably sent out 'pulses' after him, to try and locate him. However, Revan being the shear genius that he is, could easily have hid himself. I like the idea about whatever masking them was shared between the two. -
Continuity kills KOTOR
The Great Phantom replied to Cerebus's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I want Kotor III to resolve Revan's fate... I suppose the Exile could just die for all I really care right now. After that, however, I would like there to be a game where you are a Sith Trooper or a Dark Jedi, but not in an RPG format, per se. I think that an Action/Adventure would work best for this, don't you??? (So as not to screw the storylines anymore) -
Ebon Hawk & Game end
The Great Phantom replied to DarkCrystal's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I played Kotor 5 different times. Once as my 'True' Revan: LS Male Once as my 'Anti' Revan (opposite spectrum): DS Male Once as a DS Female (there was a most amusing glitch where I killed EVERYBODY on Korriban, and all key characters show up as enemies (the Judges on Manaan)). Once as a Neutral/LS Female And once as an LS Male just to kiss Bastila again... -
Yes, and not a totally different story. I'm not complaining, of course, but even if Revan isn't your character, Obsidian, he is still considered the Star of Kotor, because of all the emotional attachments people have made to him. Plus, the Redemption theme was classic, and Kotor played it perfectly.

Ebon Hawk & Game end
The Great Phantom replied to DarkCrystal's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Why pick the same convo topics over and over and over again? That just ruins a game, imho. I'm a cumpulsive saver, so I have thousands of saves, and I go back to a specific area like 5 times just to see what happens if I refuse the moron 5 credits in the first place. -
Ebon Hawk & Game end
The Great Phantom replied to DarkCrystal's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I understand the game pretty well, too, just because I don't gripe about some stupid dropped quest. People, if you're not prepared to look beyond the surface, don't bother picking up the game! -

Is Revan in the game?
The Great Phantom replied to Jellybelly's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
You don't meet him, per se, but he's talked about like a friggin god... "Revan this, Revan that..." I'm allergic to cats... -

KoToR 3: Ideas and Suggestions
The Great Phantom replied to hattifnatt's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I would like something like that, but not as Kotor III. Perhaps after III resolves the plot, they could make a Kotor Universe series, where you can play as different roles: Mandalorian soldier, Dark Jedi under Revan, Soldier during the Civil War. I think that FPS would probably be better than an RPG format for such things, though. -
Every time I wear the Jedi robes in Telos Academy, they vanish when I get back on the Hawk. So, I'm standing there half-naked, having a normal conversation with everybody about Jedi...

That's just creepy... -
I think that only they could do Kotor III, with the storyline at such a median. Does anybody else have ANY clue where they're headed? I think that Revan left Bastila for one of the Gizka. (Just kidding, he better still be with her if he's LS male) It was a good game, and I can find very little to complain about. They just forgot to put in "To Be Continued..."

Wackiest bugs you found
The Great Phantom replied to Brunhilde's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I found a bug where I force crushed Nihilus until he died, but he was floating two feet in the air, just standing. I could walk through him, and 5 feet away was a spot on the floor titled 'Remains.' When he evaporated, the smoke came from a spot clear across the room. It was really weird, but kinda cool. Plus, I got Dark Jedi Master robes early. -
Hanhar bug...?
The Great Phantom replied to random evil guy's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Wow... That's pretty cool... Maybe his Int. is -250, and they forgot the sign? Try having him work on a control panel. However, with -250, he'll probably get in a fight with it, make up, get married, the have 15 kids, then get a divorce, and then go on a psycopathic rage agaist droids (comp-humans), and end up with Mira on Malachor V... -
Just a thought bastila
The Great Phantom replied to cewekeds's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Bastila did seem a little authoratative at DS Male Revan. However, in one of my many fanfics, Revan is just using her to draw out the last of his memories, then he'd kill her. As for LS Male, Bastila deeply and truly loves him , and is redeemed from the DS. She sides with him, and they live happily ever after. As for her showing up a little late, maybe she was depressed. The Exile would remind her too much about Revan. Plus, if the Exile doesn't know where Bastila is, then he can't kill her, can he? Now, if he's LS, what if he's captured by the Sith, and tortured until he tells them where she is? Just a possibility.
