  1. We always hope that community members will choose to back away from the precipice of their own free will. Alas, 'tis not to be. Please remember this is a family-friendly forum, and swearing is inappropriate (yes, even if the filter catches it).
  2. I'd go for Jade Empire as well. I don't know much about the XBox, though.
  3. Space Quest V has Space Monkeys. They were cute, even when they were blowing up a space station.
  4. A little more family-friendly with the language please, gents. You are entirely correct, though. Revan was responsible for the murder of billions. How is that not evil? Kreia was a liar. The character is one of the real successes of Kotor 2.
  5. Cool personal statement.

  6. My work here is done. The NWN2 OC has some dull moments, but it has more great ones.
  7. Gamespy, you mean. Has Gamespot not shut down yet?
  8. Give us an incomprehensible joke about Holland, then.
  9. It's interesting to see how people approach the gaming experience differently. I've never managed to do that - and I've tried. I started a couple of characters in BG2 once, but never got them further than the first couple of quests from Alkathla. Whereas, characters I start in BG1 I almost invariably take all the way through to the end of Throne of Bhaal. It's part of why I love the Quest for Glory series so much - because I'm taking one character on a single, very long and very varied, journey.
  10. Indeed, especially in the military. Expect promotion to the rank of General any day, sir.
  11. Do you start characters in MotB or do you take them all the way through the NWN2 OC first?
  12. I can't imagine they would release an MMORPG and call it 'Kotor 3' - it would be a very strange marketing decision if they did. More likely, they'll release a MMORPG set in the Kotor universe/timeline, but keep Kotor 3 back for a later date.
  13. I think that, for many people, expectations for Fallout 3 are so low that the finished product will probably exceed them. I expect it to be rather like Oblivion (despite Bethesda's many protestations) - an average game with occasional above-average moments, neither a great pleasure nor a waste of money.
  14. *reaches back into deep memory* Isn't there an armoury in Ghostgate or something? You should probably play Oblivion instead. A few hours in, and every random bandit roaming the countryside will be wearing enough expensive glass armour to buy several houses. Banditry in Cyrodil is purely a lifestyle choice.
  15. Well, it reminds me of Arcanum. I used that building to store all my stuff throughout the game. Rats are indeed everywhere.
  16. Hi, and welcome to the forums. You could try doing a google search (and search these forums) for Kotor/Kotor2 errors associated with your graphics cards (the biggest source of problems, it appears).
  17. I'm choosing to interpret that as the end of the thread's natural life.
  18. Most things with cheese, especially cheese and mushroom bakes.
  19. My only major concern was the banter between Sam and Max, which I think has lost a little of its edge.
  20. I foune Ice Station Santa good, but not excellent, especially when compared to the second half of the first season - the first season got better as it went along, partly due to players' feedback. As Telltale have allowed a gap of 2+ months before episode two, hopefully they'll have time to make improvements.
  21. Whatever the outcome, make sure you report them to your national consumer association, whatever it's called. They may also be able to give you advice if the phone company don't reconnect you speedily. There are bound to be others in the same position as you, and the phone company may have some legal obligations that it would rather you didn't know about - always worth checking.
  22. At least it wasn't Mistletoe and Wine.
  23. It's hard to know when Obsidian's next game will be released - quite possibly not in 2008, unless they do another NWN2 expansion pack or an adventure pack (and they haven't said they will). Aside from that, who can say?
  24. WARNING!!!: The above link leads to sounds of unimaginable and unspeakable horror that make H.P. Lovecraft look like Beatrix Potter. Proceed at your own risk. Oh, and Happy Birthday to all those whose birthday this allegedly is.
  25. What abour the Broken Hourglass?
