  1. Well, over here we got it the same time as the X-Box people. Sadly, that was two months after North America. So long as they keep making a PC version, I don't mind delays too much, yet I fear the coming console darkness.
  2. There's absolutely nothing to stop you doing that, if you wish. No-one's under any obligation to take you seriously, though. I just think it's an interesting article, and recommend it to people who've been discussing the strengths and weaknesses of Kotor 2 at length on these boards.
  3. There's no direct follow-on from this quest - you can't find the scientist or anything more about him. But this is one of the many clues that hint at
  4. You can't - he's gone. But pay attention to what's going on across Nar Shaddaa - the solution doesn't jump out at you, but this is part of something pretty interesting.
  5. It certainly deserves to be widely read. On the other hand, it might be too balanced for Obsidian to want to make a big thing about it - when you're trying to sell a game, you want people to read things that are unflinchingly positive. So a link from the home page or a sticky might be a bit much to ask, but you never know.
  6. What a GREAT IDEA!!!!! (w00t) I've not see that on this form yet. That would open up a wide rang of new characters and down size the ones that we never have with in are party (GOTO). :D I'd be OK for this with one or two characters, or at least to have the choice whether to leave other NPCs on planet or not. However, I'd also want to have a core party that travelled with me wherever I went, as this would allow for deeper backstories and relationships that developed over time, and add to the epic feel of the game, something the Kotors do well.
  7. Yet it was up against Jade Empire, a Bioware game that got better reviews. I'm still quite impressed that Kotor 2 won. Maybe it's the PC gamers that make the difference. "
  8. That's right. Once you've grasped that, the game is a lot more fun; it's vital to pay attention to all the dialogue, and even then you'll find lots of stuff the second time through that you missed first time.
  9. How about T3, HK-47 and G0-T0? The lack of a good melee fighter would be a problem, but I can almost imagine it as a cartoon series. (Preferably G0-T0 should die in every episode)
  10. Better to be overambitious and cut back than underambitious and have a short, flat game. I think it might be a while before they take on another game with such a short period for development.
  11. Unfortunately, yes - Obsidian mentioned the problem of it being too easy in that magazine article. Always start with Sentinel - who needs Force Jump when you can have all those lovely skill points and dialogue options. Then proceed to either Weapons Master or Jedi Master, depending on whether you want to fight with sabers or force powers, but as was said, even if you choose Weapons Master you'll still end up with enough powers and FP to Force Wave everyone.
  12. It's every three levels or something like that, isn't it?
  13. Cheers.
  14. This is why I don't like crates - they just don't give the same timbre when you scrape the bottoms. I like both cats and dogs, depending on my mood, and as a family we've tended to have both and they get along very well. I hope this thread remains civil - there's no flame war as fierce as one between dog-lovers and cat-lovers.
  15. There were too many acronyms in there for me really to understand what's going on, but you do have my sympathies. There's a chance that your power supply is possesssed by the souls of dead gerbils, though it's probably quite a small chance. I would just take it to a shop to be repaired. Let someone else stress about it. Make sure they don't charge by the hour.
  16. Oooh, how do you get the icons without text underneath them? That's very pretty. )
  17. The third test is underway, and England are doing pretty well. Will it last? We'll see what Flintoff can do today.
  18. What did you think of the Voyage demo? I couldn't get into it at all.
  19. A thousand years of power, eh? Highlander fan? Or a history graduate? Or perhaps the result of fantasy RPGs. I blame D&D - GTA has been getting far too much attention these days, it's time the world remembered who's really corrupting our youth.
  20. Press the Print Scrn button. Open Paint (from the accessories menu) Choose 'Paste' Save as a JPG or GIF file. (That's one way - there may be others) Everything is someone's porn, I suppose. If in doubt, send it privately to a moderator, I'm sure they love getting random dirty pictures via PM.
  21. The fault lies with the justice system that allows people like this to prosper despite lack of supporting evidence. The idea that people who've been attacked by some random stranger who's played a video game are in the same catagory as people who started smoking forty years ago when the tabacco companies knew the dangers and lied about them is ridiculous. Yet he will probably gather a raft of 'experts' to support his view (well-paid, of course). Look at all the recent trouble over Professor Roy Meadows, an 'expert witness' who put women in jail because he said three cot deaths in the same family was impossible.
  22. The O'Zone version or the Italian version? I think I liked the Italian better.
  23. There's a new version? Wow. I've been listening to it on audio cassette, recorded from the album in 1985, I think.
  24. Do you think Shaun will be in the new Wallace and Grommit movie?
  25. Well, yes, that is one of the appearances for the Exile on offer in the game, though it's not the one that usually appears on the advertising.
