  1. My favorite was taking on 3 dark jedi all by my lonesome because both my party members were stuck on the opposite side of the map.
  2. Sup all my boy over at ValhallaGamers.com just finished up an interview with the CEO at Obisidian. Some stuff isn't new but there was more than a few things I was wondering about that finally got answered. Sith Lords Interview Peace.
  3. Dueling areans would be cool except that they should all be deathmatches. I think that would go well with the darker tone of KOTOR2. To make it really interesting make all of the opponents as hard as Brendak was to kill playing as a level 2 character.
  4. The whole thing with the kolto on Manaan was one of the rare quests in the game which I felt would of been really cool to be able to go back after the game and see the fruits of my labor. A chess player always thinks a few moves ahead. If you poison the Kolto then you show tremendous shortsightedness. because regardless of which side you choose, cutting off a vital resource is always a bad idea. saving the kolto on the other hand achieves two objectives. most obviously you save a key resource. but more subtly the Selkath are now in your debt, aside from the Kolto don't forget you also saved their Creator. So if you had been able to go back after reclaiming the title of Dark Lord, the selkath would be more inclined to work with you. It's much easier having an entire planet willingly working for you then having to worry about diverting additional troops to quell revolts or uprisings. As a last resort if they're not willing to succumb to your will, then you dispatch your orbiting ships and raze Ahto City, irradicate every last Selkath on the planet and ultimately take the Kolto anyway.
  5. Titanic was the most trite peice of garbage i ever watched. I remember at the end of the film when little leo and big kate are floating in the water literally saying "c'mon hurry up and die already!!!". Of course my date failed to see the humor in my commentary. City of Lost children and Delicatessen rocked. The chain reaction sequence on the docks that started with a single tear [city of lost children] was so awesome.
  6. i was torn between Canderous and Jolee as I usually kept both in my party. in the end i chose Canderous his unwavering loyalty was the deciding factor.
  7. agreed Midi-Chlorians were the worst thing to happen to star wars since the ewoks.
  8. i liked swoop racing although i wish you could of raced against NPCs instead of trying to beat the clock. I'm just glad that they have the mini games as being optional I know by my third time through the game i really wasn't interested in any of the minigames anymore.
  9. and when you're on your period you shouldn't post. this was a post about what folks thought the ideal sith lord should be, not anyone who doesn't play a wussed out jedi is stupid.
  10. Totally agree. Warfare and Diplomacy is a game of chess. Funny thing is in the first KOTOR when you listen to Canderous describe Revan you get the sense that's exactly the kind of leader he was. Just wish they had given the PC those qualities.
  11. Sith Lord only if they do it right. otherwise Sith Assassin.
  12. The first time I played through the game I thought I could turn Juhani back to the darkside by giving her the push she needed to kill Xor. Thankfully KOTOR2 will have NPC party members alignments affected by my evil. there's nothing better than having a party of loyal minions.
  13. I doubt it but i think your recruitable NPCs can vary based on your alignment.
  14. how is Morrowind compared to KOTOR?
  15. My point however is that at least you have the ability to get better graphics on PC. what can you do to improve the graphics on a stock XBox????
  16. PC version = better graphics. Just try and get 1600 X 1200 res with 4x AA and 8X AF on an X-Box.
  17. The Bastila romance true fault is in its delivery and what goes on afterwards. A true romance would of been Revan being so in love with bastila that he risks forsaking the entire mission to rescue her. I doubt he'd be going about the next two planets as though nothing's happened. A true romance would also take a lot more than a few sarcastic juvenile pick up lines to really mean anything. If it's in KOTOR2... OK whatever... and??? Personally I don't understand why people were so sprung on the KOTOR romances. I always felt that romances in the middle of stories where the galaxies fate lyes in the balance were a bit far fetched. It's like your characters have no clue as to the gravity of what's at stake. "Hey baby millions of people are going to die if we don't stop Malak... but I think we have a few minutes for some bumpin' and grindin' behind those bushes over there."
  18. The only thing better than actually being a jedi would be hunting them.
  19. Not stating an opinion until I actually play KOTOR2. From the screenshots I've seen my only complaint so far is that I hope they do something with the interface "less is more" you know.
  20. Sounds pretty far fetched. if that was even close to true that would be the gheyest plot twist and/or premise for a sequel ever.
  21. Yeah like Crystal Bondar??? was supposed to discharge particles to deliver more damage. that would of been very cool to see. even if it's too hard to make hilts customizable i would at least like to see more of a variety. Personally I always chose the short sabers because they looked better. either way i only hope that after combat is over your character actually puts away his/her weapon. running through the streets or casually talking to folks with vibroblades and blasters in hand always looked funny to me.
  22. I'm not very clear on the whole presteige class system but are we going to be able to do things like save levels so we can get a lvl 2 gaurdian / lvl 18 sith lord?
  23. My only complaint about the character creation was that in order to be a tall character (taller than Bastila anyway) you had to be a soldier. I never liked the soldier class so I was always stuck with some short little guy. As a scoundrel I think even mission was taller than my character. if you're playing a Darkside character who's going to take some little guy seriously as lord of the Sith? It so reminds me of space balls. "all bow before Darth Helmet". *enter midget* Hopefully they'll let us choose body type. Might be funny if they had a couple of overweight jedi bodies as well. "I am darth lardbutt *shoves a taco in his mouth* *crunch* prepare *crunch* to die *crunch* * crunch*"
