I have KotOR on both the Xbox and the PC, and since my girlfriend is into KotOR aswell, i'll probably end up buying both versions of KotOR II so we can both play our seperate games when we want to. BTW, has anyone notice that the shading(lighting effects (like the skin on the Selkath) looks much better on the Xbox than on the PC, even with everything pumped up at max with a Radeon 9800

I still haven't played the original Deus Ex, but I have played the sequel, still can't figure out why so many people gave it bad reviews, Xplay gave it a 5/5 if I remember correctly, and I find they're usually dead on; plus I played it and it r0x0red. B) Because the first one is better than the second in almost every department, especially in character development and story. Heck, it even won more GOTY-awards than KotOR. Play the first one, you should find it for a mere 8

The whole Iraq-thingie is an utter joke. At first, Bush says that "You can make no difference between Saddam and Bin Laden", pushing away the Afghanistan issue (which i supported) from the daily agenda. Suddenly, Saddam is the worst threat to global society and apparantly he has a sh1tload of WMD that the U.N. inspectors seemed to have missed. No WMD are yet to be found, and now Bush is using "the Iraqi peoples freedom"-rhethoric to save his own sorry ass. Fighting for the Iraqi peoples right to democracy, yeah right.

A dev accidently wrote down her name for short period of time until it was deleted. After that, several who saw it stated that it started with an 'A'. And after that, the name 'Atris' started to show up here and there at this board. Whether it's her real name or not, i don't know.

From the previews that i've read, it's Krea (or Kreia?) that will aid you trough telepathy in the beginning of the game until you meet up with her and Atton Rand in person. Atris role in KotOR II is still unknown at this point.

Heh. My thoughts exactly. I think whoever wrote the dialogue options for the Bastila romance must have been a very lonely person; either that, or they had watched Han Solo at work in EST wayyyy too many times. That's how i saw it, a humerous ode to the "Leia and Han Solo"-romance, a small bonus for your own entertainment. However, it had some flaws, like when Bastila admitted that she had 'feelings' for my character only after some minor teasement. The romance itself didn't ruin my KotOR experience either in any way, since i wasn't expecting any romance in the first place.

You can only play as human, it has been answered in the 'Ask the devs'-thread already.

You get DS points for having her to pay for the dinner, nothing for both paying each, and LS for paying for whole night yourself. Now that's immersion.

Watch Episode One again. Doesn't Kenobi's lightsaber stop working after full immersion? I take it that they're water resistant, but not proof. Thanks for clarifying that. I haven't seen The Phantom Menace since i was at cinema back in 1997, so i couldn't remember that particular part of it.

I had the same experince when i played KotOR for the first time. - "Shut up and kiss me, you fool". It left you wondering what your character had just said and done <_<

Realistic? Nope. Entertaining? Yes.
