I don't recall reading any interview/preview that would imply that the selection of gender would change the impact on game on a major level (please correct me if i'm wrong on this issue). However, i've read that the selection of gender would give some replayability though.

I heard (although just from rumor) that it was because he didn't want Han portrayed as a bad guy shooting first. This way, Han kills Greedo in "self defense". I don't know how much truth there is to that rumor, but it certainly sounds like the kind of logic GL would come up with. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If the rumor is true, then i think that GL can't see the differences between "Bad Guy" and "Bad Ass".

That's why I believe that one scene ruined two things about the characters. Not only does it lessen Han Solo's speed and accuracy with a blaster, but it also makes a good bounty hunter look like he has the worst aim in the galaxy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Has Mr. Lucas ever explained why he wanted that perticular scene changed?

I've just completed FFX for a second time and i'm about to start FFVIII for the first time(and FFVII after that), any beginners tips? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> VIII try not to get levels at all. Junctions are where you get your real stat bonuses. After all, the enemies level up with you and you get most of your power from junctions. So if you're lvl 10 at the end of the game but incredibly powerful, you'll be fighting lvl 10 enemies who are weak. Also, make sure you draw magic from lots of bosses (or at least check what magic they have). Several bosses have GFs (really important) taht you can draw and if you miss even one, you loose big time. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks, after being used to the 'Sphere grid' of FFX, the junction system feels a bit awkward to get used at this stage (I'm on my first mission as a SeeD afterall).

With his battle-simulations, sure.

That would be more a matter for Lucasarts, but sure, why wouldn't they support it? It's the second largest graphic-card company afterall..

From a RPG standpoint, you can't loose your connection to the force. But since Obsidian don't adhere the d20 rules as canon, it will probably explained through the story (i.e. Ulic Qel-droma).

Agreed, but some screenshots and another trailer wouldn't be bad. I expect a smaller update in october(previews), and another trailer + most character info by November.
