  1. I actually have no idea on how much PS:T sold besides it made even (doesn't say much really). But are the sales of JE and PS:T about the same?
  2. Exactly. If I need to get around quickly, I'll use the map. Can you imagine a 64 player map with everyone on horses? It'd get old very fast. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Anyways, i wouldn't be that upset about not being able to ride a hourse. A nice feature, but not vital.
  3. Did you see the deleted scene with Lars throwing a tantrum because nobody told him to wear a Hawaiian shirt for Kirk's birthday? Absolutely childish. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nope, i didn't see that one. I have to check again later.
  4. Voi huhu....
  5. No matter. Civ4 has destroyed enough of my sparetime already.
  6. Metallica: Some kind of Monster. Hilarious. I want want to be a rockstar with 90 million albums sold, 500 guitars, go bearhunting in Russia and own a ranch and still whine about trivial things that have no matter what so ever.
  7. Meshuggah - "I"
  8. I must've missed it. What agenda?
  9. A new WIP is up, and a new build: 0.5b6.
  10. I don't see a reason to hate pop as an form art itself. I do see a reason to hate the industry behind it though. Music is such a subjective object that one easily classify anything as garbage unless certain demands about the songwriting and music are matching according to your personal criteria of "Good, deep, insightful music". Thus, elitism. My demands are for a band to uphold any integrity and musical ability are: - The band or artist doesn't change their music or lyrical content in order to sell to a broader audience. - All members should know how to play instruments, the singer might be excluded. - All members should play their instruments live. - All songs should be written by the band. - Music first, image is an afterthought. Not the other way around. I'm a bit elitist, yes. But i don't demean people who listen to shallow, computerized and sung through a pitchshifter (pitchshifter is a regular device in the industry, it makes anyone sing in key) which sole purpuse is to generate enough money for the suits. If you like it, buy it. Unless it's Metallica, all their records should be downloaded for all eternity
  11. IIRC, Chris & Chris at Obsidian are already busy NWN2 and PNJ.
  12. I would bet on a ex-Troika employee as well, unless they all got jobs already. Could this mean.........KotOR III?
  13. AMD Sempron 3000+ 1 Gb Kingston RAM Radeon 9800 17" LCD monitor with 8ms response time. Onboard Dolby Digital 5.1 encoder connected to a reciever with 5.1 speakers Cordless keybaord and mouse
  14. Huh? Contrary to Eldar, I did play Fahrenheit and I don't recall that, unless you mean <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I meant the night at the subway. Not in Carla's apartment, sorry for any misunderstanding.
  15. I want KotOR III <_<
  16. Too bad you played Indigo Prophecy and not Fahrenheit, since
  17. I've had two Seagate HDD's, both broke down within 6 months. My Maxtor HDD's have been excellent however, one is 6 years old and still running flawlessly.
  18. It was really a good cinematic game for the first 2/3 of it, but the ending was rushed. Otherwise i really enjoyed playing Fahrenheit, they should make more games like these in the future.
  19. Yes, the only thing that marks a resemblence to the other FF's, is that there are: - Chocobo's, Cactuars, Moogles <-- Different sorts of animals - Someone is named Cid, mostly a sea/airpirate. - Summons like Shiva, Ifrit and Bahamut - Several diffirent fiends like bomb, Tonberry etc. - Other smaller details that i don't remember. The rest, like world, setting, characters, story, gameplay, etc is changed between each installment. Thus, making it possible for a FFXXX without getting tedious. The only direct sequel was FFX-2 to the original FFX (but they even changed the gameplay between those two).
  20. The last one sold 1.2 million in one weekend in Japan. Final Fantasy X has sold 7 million worldwide. So yeah, some people still play them.
  21. Name recognition and such. Microsoft released the Xbox with losses made from each sold unit, so i dont' see a reason why a game company backed by a publisher with deep pockets would do the same. It's all part of a bigger corporate-strategy.
  22. E or F. They have their part in the story, but it should be a new main PC that makes decisions of the game's outcome.
  23. Jawa's don't fight.
  24. Most studies are reluctant to share how much a game cost to produce. Either that, or it's simply under NDA:
