If you don't want to play and purchase console games, that's your choice, but who are you to question the companies that back them? They only give the consumer what they demand.
The bit about stealing gaming products is what really bothers me, though. Pirating does more damage to the industry than anything else. The actions of people like you affect developers such as Obsidian, Troika, and Bioware that I support.

I will not buy a console or a game specificly developed for consoles out of principle. That principle being that I do not want to support commercial giants like Microsoft or Sony, and also because I believe in the freedom of the PC.. GNU, open source and all that. Its like me not buying porn or products that are made with child-labour. By refusing to buy, Im making a statement.
So if a company makes a game console exclusive, theyve already lost me and many people like me as customers. They know that, and it is their decision and their loss. Im never ever going to support the console industry by purchasing any of their products.
However, that doesnt mean Im going to miss out on potentially good games And if I help spread console piracy, Im helping the PC market. It might be illegal (copyright vioilation, not theft) but sometimes youve got to stand up for what you believe in no matter what.

What about Nintendo? They aren't pushing the envelope on DRM and other pseudo-security matters. They even admitted that the console isn't part of a larger corporate goal (or so they say) compared to Sony and Microsoft.
