6 was fantastic Probably my fav <{POST_SNAPBACK}> My fav too and imo, the best in the series. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have to try that one out. Hopefully when the Revution is released, i may give it a try through its backwards compability(i refuse to use emulators). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why refuse? In any case, it's a great game. Just don't go in expecting anything but a JRPG. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No doubt about it being a great game, since i only heard praise about it. But i'll get the Revolution eventually, so it's just a matter time.
  2. It should be late march/april.
  3. Spongebob: Very good Black Adder: Excellent Fawlty Towers: Classic

  5. LIEK TOTALLY!!!1!!!!111 Thank you for your contribution. It was appriciated. While some series have addictive factor in it, but for atleast, anime like Naruto has something that makes addicted to it like some heavy drug. I just wondered if i was the only one with this.
  6. Pffft, Nine-tails wouldn't let him
  7. It's never too late to repent. Buy the magazine and convert
  8. "Kake Bunshin no Jutsu!!" ....aw, my head hurts. This series is like crack, you can't stop watching it. Even with its flaws like TOO long battles (7 episodes for one battle? Come on) and ALOT of flashbacks (Yeah, yeah i know character X's relation to Y, stop treat the viewer like a numbnut), you still have to watch it. And to make it even worse, there's a new episode tomorrow, bleh. The i had a similar experience with the last season of Lost aswell. Anyone with a series that they can't stop watching?

And the story about a futuristic soccer player saving the world is any better? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Now you're being too simplistic. Any guy saving the world-scenario is used in, let's say, atleast 90% of all RPG's
  10. Random encounters can be annoying at worst, but never "I refuse to play this game"-bad. Either you can't play the game, or you hate the game to begin with, despite random encounters. I see that more and more JRPG's are departing from the random encounters to a more flexible and tactical approach, which is fine by me. I suspect that some will remain true to the random encounters for nostaltic reasons only.

...and another point: I don't like how Square-Enix is milking the game either, there's a "Special FFXII-gamepad", "Special FFXII-designed PS2", "Special memory card for FFXII" and a "Pre-release official guide with facts and info" + the regular soda drinks, action figures etc, etc.
  12. Hopefully there will be screenshots this time. I've been waiting for any info since this game was announced a year ago.

Also, who knows when FFXII is released in America/Europe? The only thing we know, is that it's released in march 16th in Japan.

I like most of the Final Fantasy games that i've played (FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX, FFX). While i like that they've made the battles a bit more like KotOR (no random encounters), but i what i don't like is the setting: Ever since FFIX, it's been some kind of medieval/fantasy setting. FFVII and FFVIII had some interesting setting with blending modern technlogy and magic. I like to see that once again.
  15. For anyone who didn't like the idea of Chuck Norris being Master Chief, i curse you! Chuck Norris curses you! All your children will be born with mullets as punishment!
  16. That was one of the weirder bugs that i've seen in PS:T. Hopefully, he'll be back to normal after you leave the cube.
  17. ...and a another build is up: 0.5b5
  18. And it only appears in the modron cube? Have you tried a earlier save before entering it?
  19. Eh? Are you sure you haven't got any cheats enabled? Those can make the stats go fubar.
  20. Link fixed, folks.
  21. Link. Yup, yup :D
  22. Five years? It's more like 9 years. DNF was announced in 1997 and was originally sheduled for a spring '98-release.
  23. Summon Epiphany (Conjuration/Summoning) Level: 10 Range: Computer and Console Duration: 1 thread/level Casting time: Instantaneous Saving Throw: None By casting the Summon Epiphany spell the poster calls into existance a beserked demon from the Elemental Plane of Bullsh1t - The Epiphany. At first glance this appears to be some sort of troll, but upon closer examination this gibbering mass of foul vapor moves with a life of its own. Drawn towards the XBOX like a moth to a flame, Epiphany feeds on the energies surrounding and used by the thread participants. When summoned the Epiphany will go on a rampage attacking everyone in the area, including the caster. Anyone Protected from Microsoft will not be targeted by the demon. The Epiphany has no logical or rational attacks at all. However, it can be hurt by logical attacks. Each time Epiphany quotes a target poster and wraps its tendrils around him there are two major effects: First, all PS2 memory cards that the target poster possess will be drained by one block, destroying them if only one remains. Second is it causes the poster to lose one PS2 game. This is chosen at random, however, it will consume the newest title possible. The Epiphany is completely immune to ridicule, and not only that, but flaming will actually heal this creature. Only desperate or suicidal posters use this spell. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Haha
