What game would you rather see Obsidian work on
Meshugger replied to Gorth's topic in Computer and Console
It seems to be working. KotOR III is on its way to a humiliating victory. -

Searching around about CFR and its critics, i found a fella named Ron Paul (and a republican nonetheless) running for president, with heavy critizism for organization such as these. I only about the man in name only before, is he a someone that has a chance in the primaries? -

I know, we can't exactly forbid (adult) people to meet each other, can we? Since these meetings involves several others within the current, and prior, administrations, laws against these meetings would be a difficult task indeed. -

Ok, time to get serious now. While such a organization on paper have a lot of international influence and some might even say that it's a clear conflict of interests that a head of state is a member of such. However, if there was real evidence of manupilation of the democratic process, people would be hanged. After all, it's politicians that we're talking about -

It makes perfect sense. The corporate the media and the fiscal, domestic and foreign policy is made by a group of men instead of the people. Up to arms, REVOLUTION TIME! -
He is a member of the Council of Foreign Relations, just like Jimmy Carter, George Bush, Bill Clinton, John Kerry, John Edwards, **** Cheney, Wolfowitz, Kissinger, Warburgs, Rockefellers, Dulles and Alan Greenspan Your president has already been chosen. Put on your tinfoil-hats people, because you are all doomed. The New world order is nigh!

A part of me secretly hopes that the kids will turn on each other, think "Lord of the Flies"-style, meaning that CBS will have to cancel crap like that. An other part can't wait to see it.

Real Breaking News: Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer
Meshugger replied to Sand's topic in Computer and Console
You sure, Mes? I don't hear you fangasming like our friend Tigranes there. I am at work. I have to write, and look cool But seriously, what is it not to like? Long game-length, no forced companions, more races, more classes, fixed engine, more effects, better camera in combat and epic levels. Pretty good story and dialog as almost a given with Obsidian. Linearity and too little RPG-options, that i can live by. -
Mass Effect hands-on impressions at E3

You mean with like hairy armpits? No, no, no. That's just a rumor that the anti-french organizations spread in order to keep the american men within its borders. How do you make a passionate, femme fatale with a immoral view on sex uninteresting? Make her hygiene seem bad, make that armpit hair grow now! -

The newest developer-video really sealed the deal for me, instant buy in this case as well. -

Weeeell, Bioware are from Canada, which means that they do not have the same attitude to boobies as their southern neighbors. Going from that, maybe the art director is from Quebec, where they speak French and have a more european look on nudity.....which means that we will not only see boobies, but in French style?! But ok, this is getting pretty silly, i better stop now. -

But are they man-boobies or real boobies? This game just gets better and better. Boobies, gore and the alpha-male-ish "Lead, follow, or get out of the way!"-attitude. This will certainly satisfy my 80's action needs. My love-interest will have to die nearing the end, leading to my Shephard going first blood on every alien bad-guy in space, with one-liners of course. -

8-12 hours, I think? I really hope they manage to institute a bit more branching than just the one cops v. robbers choice in the original game. But... didn't they say this was mostly focused on "epic combat"? That's a lot for an expansion, hopefully that will just be the minimum -
I am curious on what ground the judge denied retrial. What the requirements for a retrial in Georgia? Someone else confesses?

Auron (FFX) - The epitome of cool, every character in a video game has striven to be as cool as him, but no one succeeds. Barrett Wallace(FFVII) - A walking tank with an intimidating attitude. Where are the similar, black bad-asses in western RPG's? Kreia (KotOR II) - Fun to argue with, hard to get along with. Probably the best voice-acting as well. HK-47 (KotOR I & II) - A homicidal droid who even sees love as a form of killing. Wonderful. Jolee (KotOR I) - Everyone's bitter, old grandfather. Vhailor (PS:T) - I.AM.JUSTICE. Dak'kon (PS:T) - His back-story with the nameless one was truly sad. And what other character could one judge their emotion by the shape of their blade? Morte (PS:T) - Best wise-ass in any game. Period. Annah (PS:T) - Her story or character wasn't anything out of the ordinary, but she was well-written and had a good voice-actor. Khelgar (NWN2) - Violence solves everything, but you have to have fun with it as well. Also, i want to be a monk.

Looking forward to Deus Ex: Mickey Mouse edition! -
Greetings nerdlings! As of today, we have gathered to celebrate the "Console battle of death with a wooden spoon or a witty argument", where the participants enjoy a great battle on behalf of their Overlords. We have Xbot, representing the mighty Lord Microsoft of Software without a cause, a new and rather silly person. Lord Microsoft was the first to enter this battle two years ago, giving a head start by almost 12 months to gather to wittiest of arguments or carve the most diabolical wooden spoon. Really exciting, isn't it folks? Then, we have the PsProstitute, representing lord Sony of the great Cell. Lord Sony the great champion of last round and the round before that, winning by confusing arguments and a completely outwitting of Lord Sega, who later was forced to retire and do peculiar things, not including wooden spoons. This year, PsProstitute has changed the arguments for something even more strange than last time: "Potential and Blu-ray", leaving even the most dimwitted with comebacks of great wit. A slow start, but we shouldn't consider these arguments as too silly, since similar were made in the last round which made PsProstitute the reigning champion for the second time in a row, smart little bugger that one, isn't he? And finally, the big surprise from times past: Lord Nintendo, destroyer of Atari and creator of the great italian plumbing phenomenon, which hasn't really died down since the 80's. Atleast no wooden spoons were needed, but lets save those for this great competition, shall we? Representing Lord Nintendo is a myriad of people, which collectively call themselves "WII", who have completely and utterly taken PsProstitute and Xbot by surprise. Using unfamiliar arguments like "fun" and "non-gamer" and sporting with the most sharp and interesting wooden spoon of them all, "WII"-people have left Xbot and PsProstitute completely dumbfounded and disgruntled over current state things. "HD doesn't seem to matter that much", mutters the Xbot. "Why can't they see the potential in my arguments", cries the PsProstitute. Despite the supreme judge of reason, Meshugger's, declaration of them all being a bunch of twats, no one seems to listen, and the arguments continue further, with pointing of everlasting sharp, wooden spoons. /john cleese

The game seems to run a bit smoother than NWN2, which is good, considering that one previously had to have Geforce 7900GT to get the game running smoothly. Also, i really like the new camera-angles (adventure-mode when running and idling, top-down when fighting). How long will this campaign be?
