  1. Did anyone read the 'Bad Ending' in the Original Vision statement? It was kind of sad that they didn't implement that one, since it would've been pretty easy to do so. But i was glad that they at least didn't do the 'Happy Ending'.
  2. Maybe they're trying to do a 'Blizzard', or so to speak On the Planescape references, yes Chris Avellone has written the story and characters for MotB. But the media were pulling the same shtick about KotOR 2.
  3. System Shock 2 Well, i tried at least. The game doesn't like my onboard audio (crash, crash and another crash), so i leave it until Auzentech releases it's Prelude 7.1 card, which basically is a Creative X-Fi with Dolby Digital 5.1 Live and DTS Live and better audio fidelity. Creative users have reported that the X-Fi works with some tweaks.
  4. Considering that there are already reviews floating around the 'web', has the game officially gone gold yet?
  5. It's probably Nordic, Pagan, TRVE, KVLT and GRYM. Currently listening to: Gustav Holst - MARS: The Bringer of War
  6. Are ya a grrl? WEL HALO THAR nekkid pics?
  7. Who said that? I did. I just wanted to point out that one should be careful with ones rhetoric, especially when talking about 'the bomb'.
  8. Agreed. Those things usually goes both ways, state + corporate = corporatism --> Fascism.
  9. I am interested in, compared to their previous jobs, are they making more money now than before entering politics? As a whole of course, since there are people like the Kennedy's who has been a career politician throughout his whole life.
  10. We should never underestimate the use of rhetoric. After all, one can easily change it to the other side of the coin. For example: "The Wehrmacht surrendered after the death of Hitler, but there were still 2 million soldiers at the front and a lot of the German population left. It took 2 nukes to break our resolve. Not one, but 2 (TWO!) nukes to break our resolve. That is the extension of the Japanese spirit! Name any other civilization before and after that had such strength, determination, disciple, self-sacrifice and resolve that it scared the enemy to 'drop the bomb' twice. Walk proud men, for every other nation will follow the land of the rising sun when it comes to the strength of the human spirit."
  11. It will be released sooner or later, just as Far Cry became Far Cry: Instincts later on.
  12. Damn, no visit to the plane of Limbo? That would've been an awesome experience.
  13. I would go further than that, i would even make the statement that everyone posting in this forum is pretty much the hardcore-gamer. A regular gamer or a "non-gamer" don't register to forums to get gossip and talk about the latest rumors of the industry and upcoming games, checking out the latest information about graphics technology and most certainly don't register to talk about the implementation of the rules that a video-game is based on. Or maybe the world has embraced nerdvana several years ago without me knowing it
  14. The Atris-bug has re-surfaced! Quickly! We have to warn the villagers! RUN! RUN!
  15.
  16. According to one of those reviews, there should be more than one ending. And the PC version has better graphics, better UI and modding. But at least the Xbox360 will get some downloadable content such as unique plasmids, yay!
  17. The more info that i read about the expansion, the more i think that this is the vision of NWN2 that Obsidian originally wanted.
  18. Yea but this game is supposed to be DX10 compliant Yup, it is. I expect that you fully make use of your two Geforce 8800 GTX's. And post a lot of pictures, that's paramount
  19. PS:Ts combat was unfulfilling? NO WAI!1oneone It was the only thing that people didn't like with the game, but at least the combat was pretty
  20. Same here. The limited edition is available in Sweden, Denmark and Norway. But not in Finland
  21. Yes, they did. The whole theatre here exploded with laughs. But it's allowed from 7 and upwards here (Finland), so there were a lot of kids watching it.
  22. Shush you funny people, i am sincerely trying to teach reason here. Let me succeed, just this time? Pretty please with sugar on top?
  23. A sad thing indeed. I read somewhere that it is the worlds most dangerous job to work in the Chinese mines. Official figures show around 4000 deaths/year in those hellholes, but some unofficial go as high as 20000/year.
  24. Linky No cookies for guessing which scene that is from.
  25. Bear in mind, the US 'popularity meter' has gone down since the days of Clinton, and i personally and most people i know certainly disapprove of current American administration in almost every way. But there's: A) An election coming up, then the guy is gone, *poff* B) The American people can change their government and its policies by voting. (I certainly hope so in the next election), other bigger countries cannot. C) Russia and China are the real future-threats. Middle-east is just their playground. D) I am really happy that we have a superpower that we can freely mock and make fun of, without worrying about them trying to invade our country (see eastern Europe, Finland during the cold war) E) For those that live in democratic countries, don't like the US policy? Vote in someone who is a critic about it, they are the extension of your will, use your power to do so. And for those in the US, do the same. Blowing up civilians will never solve anything.
