  1. Wait, was the guy that said that GG is worse than ISIS head of DELL?!! I invoke Poe's Law on that guy.
  2. As i said before, these kinds of ideas are stupid enough to arise from university campuses. I wonder if these cooky ideas really stem from simple jealousy of the hard sciences; laws like the laws of thermodynamics cannot be found in the humanities department, after all . Maybe this jealousy manifests itself from not being taken as seriously as mathematics and physics...
  3. Meh, could've been muuuuch better, but instead it barely touched the surface. I wasn't even sure if the author saw anything wrong with the industry as it is.
  4. ME1 - "Meh" ME2 - "What is this trite?!" ME3 - Never played
  5. Whuh? According to that link, Github closed the gamergate-repository proudly. Well, better not use that site for anything anymore.
  6. Of course there are naked pictures. The original argument against the gamergate-fellows was that they were trying to "****-shame" her because of those said pictures.
  7. This is all kinds ***** up. Zoe Quinn's photographer for an erotica site, claims *publicly* on Facebook that ZQ admitted to have stabbed a rapist to death. https://www.facebook.com/mallorie.nasrallah I am very sceptical about this, since this kinds of allegations are serious matters.
  8. As stated in the previous video that i linked, those people are not interested in the market. Rather, they are interested in changing the capitalist process all together in gaming. Consumers are the least of their interests.
  9. Bryy: Huh? Anyhow, http://techraptor.net/2014/10/02/indie-devs-opinion-gamergate-women-gaming/
  10. The conspiracy continues...
  11. Nah, they where way more erotic than any other "romance-scenes" in any game in the RPG-genre.
  12. Look, most people agree that the government should only keep the lights on; as in building infrastructure, uphold law & order, national defence and a basic safety net. To what degree is of course up to endless debate, but if you wish to provide a better, or less bad, solution to these foundations, you better come up with something better than a few internet videos that tries to shame everyone except the exclusive club of randians as idiots.
  13. Anarcho-capitalism: Anarcho-syndicalism's paranoid brother.
  14. Well, it's a good movie in that aspect that it makes you feel emotionally drained. Sadly, I cannot tell you more without getting into spoilers.
  15. I agree about the trust between teacher and student is broken and therefore the teacher should get fired. All those talks about jail time and rape is just silly though.
  16. Now i understand why one of the members of the board of DiGRA wishes to explore Myst without puzzles and Doom without guns. Dear lord, these guys are so out of touch with reality.
  17. Incendies http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1255953/?ref_=nv_sr_1 Jesus christ
  18. Except total artistic integrity simply doesn't exist in the world of commercial game development, so while I appreciate the sentiment, I feel it's rather misplaced. Or, to quote a developer asked to voice her opinion on the matter: The finer details of a contract between two agents was not the point that i was trying to make.
  19. I thought that the issue was that there's a conspiracy of gaming journalists trying to enforce an agenda and how developers should have total artistic integrity without having to do a checklist of certain inclusive elements. The opinions in themselves are irrelevant.
  20. Fundamental Christians aren't lopping heads off, like what just happened in Oklahoma. Born and bred 'Merican Muslim is copying Isis. The reality is Christianity has had hundreds of years to distance itself from the barbarism, and Islam has not. Also add that in the muslim world there's always the topic of what a muslim state is or should be, or how it is to be a muslim in a secular or nonmuslim country. There's no such thing in the western world, there's nothing about being a baptist moving to Germany. It's about [insert nationality here] moving to a host country, all while in the host country is trying to figure out what a citizen of that host country really is. Point being; Islam from secular to radical is about the identity of the muslim faith no matter where they are, while the western world is confined to nation-states, that do not really know what they are or should be, except for tolerating others. That is why radical Islam (atleast i think so) is so successful with the youth: simple, dogmatic and direct answers in a complicated world.
  21. Ha ha ha a feminist with a PhD in playing the Sims. Part two will be about how Silverstring Media and others attended DiGRA's conferences and adopted their ideas. It should be out within a week or two. The pyramid picture was not that of a far fatched scenario
  22. More about DiGRA:
