  1. The way he goes on and on about this stuff, I think he really believes what he is saying. Every other person would be checked into a mental hospital already.

  2. I finished the main plot in Hogwarts Legacy. Overall I think it is a good game. A bit too Elder Scrolls like perhaps and a bit too collection focused. I think every bit of content overstays its welcome just a tad. The good thing is, for the bonuses you don't need to do everything. Just over half the Merlin Trials unlock max inventory. You can ignore the other forty something trials. The game doesn't force you to do every repetitive thing. The writing works. The plot works. The endless hordes of enemies do not work for a game that is focused on such a small area. The hundreds of poachers you kill mean you basically depopulated the wider area around Hogwarts and Hogsmead. Some comments the characters make are very on point. When your character wonders why nobody has looted the chests in the dungeon, even though you known it has been explored before. When you wonder why your professor has very specific ingredients for a potion on hand. Whoever wrote the story has felt those plot quibbles themselves and isn't above some self irony when they find themselves in that situation. It's the exact type of little thing that wins me over. The combat is fun. It is far more involved than a lot of action rpgs. The different spell combos and the way different spells may uniquely interact with different enemies are great. I still need to figure out how to hit a troll with their club. I don't like all the voice actors. I understand criticism that it is less a game about going to wizarding school and more a run around kill stuff game. I don't know how a school simulator would have been fun though.

  3. The very unfortunate thing is, these are absolute empty words, for which the Kotaku is pretty well known. It would be more believable, that this is not just a clickbait virtue-signalling, if they would voice the same stance, whenever a chinese company acquires/put stakes into a western developer or distributor, which pretty much never ever happens. Seems like Uyghur lives do not matter as much to them when the venture capital flows

  5. https://www.atlanticcouncil.org/blogs/ukrainealert/putins-failed-summer-offensive-shatters-the-myth-of-inevitable-russian-victory/ This war doesnt have the same interest it use to but here is an interesting link how the Russian summer offensive has failed The main takeaway is the last few months we have heard lots of Russian commentary and propaganda that " complete Russian victory was any day now\inevitable " Its not evitable and many outcomes are possible

  6. Sorry for the late reply, unfortunately this isn't an area Deadfire that is really supported with gamedata modding and there hasn't been much exploration from what I have seen into how to really accomplish it using other methods. As far as I know the files for triggering random encounters are stored in level files relevant to the location they take place. Not sure of how randomisation works exactly, but it seems to select from a random pool of specified encounters. There also isn't really a way to add to these pools of encounters directly in the gamedata from what I can see. The only way I'm aware that could work outside of this is triggering the random encounter with modscripts hook. with the LaunchRandomEncounter script and setting conditional expressions that will trigger it at the right time. There aren't any conditional for checking for the player travel in cities though, or coordinates on the world map though. So it's pretty imprecise sadly.

  7. #BRINGBACKTHEBARD Absolutely love Grounded, fully 100% (Achievements and all obtainable equipment anyways) completed it up NG+1 dipping into NG+2, Would've gone further but the beauty of Grounded 2 dropped. Obviously still working their bugs and issues but love every part. Definitely need more decorative pieces that aren't just the mounts and plushies (Trophies). Currently at the end of act 1 so now we're just grinding and building nice little themed bases, However I think it would be absolutely BANGING if we added more Bard esc weapons, Grounded had the Bard's Tutor and Bard's Bow, But I strongly feel Grounded 2 could 100% bring back the Bard, Imagine let's say...A Black Ox Marching Drum, quick attacks send out a small wave like the attack of the Mantis, Charged attack sending out a kinda 'Ground Slam' AOE style attack, if you wanted you could make it give a AOE effect that increases defensive stats maybe? Other ideas like a maybe a Bass and or Electric guitar (Maybe Bass for Tier 2 and Electric for Tier 3?) That you swing like Sword? Every hit gives a debuff to surrounding foes or alternatively a fiddle that gives inspiration to your party (Polar opposite of how bows work, you can only block and 'Inspire', no DMG) Or if we wanna merge it we the Wizard Class, Harp constructed out of...IDK Grasshoppers that are coming out that when pluck it sends a homing note that does blunt DMG and then charged one follows the arc pattern of the current staves. I suppose in that notion, for solo players those more 'Party Based' instruments could be coupled with Buggies and a Psuedo Summoner? No clue, just a brain wave I've had whilst bored at work. Thanks for anyone whom reads this and hope you have a lovely day :)
