https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/07/addressing-threats-to-the-us/ "Recent policies, practices, and actions of the Government of Brazil threaten the national security, foreign policy, and economy of the United States. Members of the Government of Brazil have taken actions that interfere with the economy of the United States, infringe the free expression rights of United States persons, violate human rights, and undermine the interest the United States has in protecting its citizens and companies. Members of the Government of Brazil are also politically persecuting a former President of Brazil, which is contributing to the deliberate breakdown in the rule of law in Brazil, to politically motivated intimidation in that country, and to human rights abuses.2 points

Im really enjoying the buggies, but I think it would be nice if: 1. The strength of the buggies mandibles scaled with the level of your omni-tool upgrade (sort of defeats the purpose if I have to hop off to cut a weed stem); And 2. In 'vacuum' mode, it would be nice if the looted resources went into the buggies inventory before cluttering our own.1 point

Hi Tech Team, A prominent problem of co-op games with localized hosting is the fact that the game drops when the host leaves, kicking all other players. As these types of games do not typically offer an in-game pause option & generally have aspects of survival involved, I propose an alternative solution that may have a positive & lasting solution on the industry as a whole. Host Swapping/ Sharing: Simply Put - The game switches host, instead of closing down. Detailed version: Currently Localized hosting basically works by having one person (the host) run the server logic (world state, AI, physics, etc). Other player then connect to the server via the host's I.P, Input data is constantly sent to host (actions, movements, state changes, etc). Suggested Changes: Instead of the server being hosted by an individual, it would be hosted by a Priority List, with said individual being the first in the List. Other players would thus also connect via the same Priority List (with the host as the only real priority here). The key difference is that players would be given the option to opt-in to joining this Priority List for hosting (in the game options or something less intrusive). In the event of the Host leaving, instead of the server shutting down. The server enters a freeze state, selecting the player with the highest priority to become the next host (average latency, upload speed, hardware, etc) The world state is then passed to the new host, along with re-initializing AI and other run-time processors, etc. At the same time other players are re-directed to the new host. After a stability check, the game can unfreeze and continue from where it paused.1 point

There's a little place on the beach here that we've been going to. I keep getting the same thing every time, a pitcher of sangria and beef carpaccio. I've been going a little hard on the carpaccio lately but it's been so good my in-laws started ordering it too. For what I actually ate today, I made some bacon and cheese ramen this morning. The bacon here is a lot different but it works well because it has a much less overwhelming flavor so I can go heavier on the meat. Then I just melt a slice of cheese into the noodles as they cook, was surprised I found an American "pasteurized cheese product" here but it really is the best for melting into ramen as it just dissolves without clumping or needing to be prepared separately.1 point

Oh, look, AI bots trying to talk about food. That's new. How are your tastebuds, buddy? To post something on topic, work cantina makes pretty good food, all in all:1 point

Ive just started experiencing this myself. Had a multilayer world and just turned a save into a "shared world" such that my friend can play when im not on. He loaded in once and said it was fine. Ive went to log in and whenever I view saves it kicks me to Xbox Home? (Xbox Series X)1 point

Bumping this, as this describes the exact issues I'm having. Grounded 1's crossplay works just fine, haven't had any issues. Grounded 2 will not let me log into Xbox no matter what I try, and I swear I've tried everything (both suggested by devs and that I could think of) at this point.1 point

The fix is to create a copy that you can reload and then re add the people into your shared world. The problem is autosaves no longer register for them come and they can’t host your game when you’re not on anymore. Shared hosting is busted after the last update1 point

One thing I forgot to mention is I do kinda miss just swinging to take down grass with an attack click, but I also think leaving the hold “e” in the accessibility options instead would be good in case some people are prone to hand cramps!1 point

Willbreaker Souldblade/Trickster soo much fun. Very good defence and offence with casting. Modal gives -25 fortitude better accuracy for our disentegration.1 point

The only fix to this issue is dying, after respawning it fixes the issue. I encounter this bug while fighting 2 bombardiers.1 point

100% agree, the context action has already caused me issues. I was attempting to dig up grubs, but it kept trying to cut down grass around me. The omnitool should just be a separate hotkey, "9" or "0" would work, and you should then be able to hold that key to select the function you want from a radial menu, or just press the button to cycle through the functions. I also just miss the ability to perfectly position between a few grass stalks and hit multiple of them with a single swing. Was nice to clear cut a section using optimal stamina.1 point

I second this, was going to comment the exact same thing. Another frustration about the current implementation on controller is that you can't hold your right thumb on the control stick while digging/chopping/smashing, because you need to hold the x button, making it far less efficient to move from one resource to another.1 point

Yeah, I have seen it from Mort's video. If they make it playable from a get go, it's a bit win for the game (which reminds me I STILL need to play it. I got close recently, as I installed it and modded on GOG, but didn't get to around playing the game). It seems D&D projects get some love in post BG3 era. Is it to much to hope for Neverwinter Nights3 to become a thing? Comeone Microsoft, you passed on the BG3, now let Obsidian have some fun with the IP.1 point

Anticlip in building is making the system incredibly unfun, with the slightest pieces of dirt or rock making it impossible to place down a wall or the like. Please fix this, the best part of Grounded was getting to build whacky bases and it feels frustrating to be so restricted.1 point

I found a multitude of issues in my around 5 - 6 hours of playtime. While playing multiplayer, my friends buggy would consistently keep disappearing even after reloading a save. It got to a point where his buggy fully vanished from the game, he didn't even have the option to call it anymore. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I load into the game majority of my key binds that I have changed are completely reset. Seems as if arrows will clip through bugs, I haven't done any specific testing so take this point with a grain of salt but while fighting the stinkbug all of my arrows ended up passing directly through him. More of a complaint rather than a bug I suppose is the fact that there are very weird key bind decisions that were made. For example, I like to have tab binded to my 6th item for my hot bar, I changed it but then quickly came to the conclusion that tab will always bring you to your inventory even if you don't have a single bind dedicated to tab. Furthermore, I just think many things should be able to be changed, things like drinking out of a canteen being changed from right click to left click or being able to specifically change your ability to deposit planks instead of one key bind changing both deposit and drop. Found that when mapping the G key to the deposit function, you are not able to deposit a single plank at a time, it will always force you to deposit the whole stack which can be annoying if you aren't carrying a lot of planks. Again more of a complaint rather than a bug but still felt like it might be important to mention. There seems to not be any way to bind a category to your hot bar rather than a specific item, for example, I have my red ant club pinned to my 8th hot bar slot. that means that only the red ant club can be in that slot, but for my 7th slot (which I luckily didn't change when I loaded into the game for the first time) the category of food is in that slot, which means any food will automatically transfer into that slot. I don't know if this is a bug but I would find it hard to believe that this is how they wanted it to function. General lagginess, feel like if my computer is able to run games like Apex Legends at max graphics very smoothly that this game shouldn't struggle as much as it does, I feel very framey a lot of the time and that doesn't feel great.\ Game crashed by swapping between my weapons at a fast rate, I like to fidget some times by swapping between my weapons while I am exploring, tried doing it once and my game got insanely framey and proceeded to crash, this isn't a consistent thing however but thought it would be important to mention. Don't know if this one is considered a glitch but it's not how it worked in Grounded 1 so I doubt it's supposed to work like this. I have my toggle perspective binded to my scroll wheel, when I click it, I change perspectives. However, my copy blueprint is also binded to clicking scroll wheel, I remember in grounded 1 both of these binds were the same, but now when I go and try to copy a blueprint it throws me out of third person assuming because both of these binds are the same, this was not how it worked in the first title so I am inclined to believe that this isn't how it is supposed to work. Although I love the buggies those things CANNOT sit still, a lot of the time when I go and try to make them stay, they will just move anyway, I don't know if this is just a misunderstanding of what "stay put" means but just found it a little weird. Overall, this game is awesome and I am very excited to see how they update it, I know it's in beta but as of right now I have kinda found this game to be unplayable because of the despawning buggy and the weird glitched keybind stuff, I love it, but man is it testing my patience.1 point

My girlfriend and I *loved* playing Grounded together. It's one of the games we've bonded over the most. We were both a little iffy about bugs, but they were all just cartoonish enough that we didn't mind. We didn't even need the arachnophobia slider. (The infected wolf spider was pushing it though. Ugh) So needless to say, we were both super hyped for Grounded 2... until she saw that roaches were in the game. She absolutely wants us to play Grounded 2 together, but she *cannot* do roaches if they're at all realistic. So I bought the game, I'm not quite as bothered by roaches as she is. She said she'd be okay if the roaches aren't "too realistic." Well, I fought one with her watching and *holy ***** did it go south fast! It wasn't so bad at first and she said it might be ok... But then its FREAKING HEAD FELL OFF and it started skittering away in a deeply disturbing fashion. It scared the heck out of me and I'm not even the one with the phobia! Personally, I love the roach as an enemy concept. The idea of a bug functioning like a zombie and coming back from the dead is awesome! It was pretty fun to fight and startled me in a really fun way I wasn't expecting! ...but I'd also really like to play this game with my girlfriend, like we did with the previous game. She said she'd be significantly more fine with it if there was a slider for the roaches, like with the spiders. I don't think she's alone, either, as katsaridaphobia is fairly common. Please, Obsidian, we loved finishing Grounded 1 together, and we just want to continue the adventure.1 point

Same here. Me and my friend's game had one bee spawn. Appears another is at max height. Typical grass stairs to reach them doesn't work.1 point

I have always been a big fan of 2 handed weapons. For example, in the first Grounded, the mint mace was my pride and joy in most of my playthroughs. In Grounded 2, I love the new class system prioritizing bows, daggers, sword/shield, and magic. But I can't help but realize that my beloved 2 handed weapons currently seem to be getting neglected. It would be awesome if there could be a sort of 2 handed brute or tank class to give 2 handed weapons some much needed love. There are many cool things that could be done, like making the user super tanky, boosting 2 handed attack speed and/or stun damage, boosting 2 handed block power, etc. Idc what route is chosen, I just hope that my 2 handed weapons can get some love. #Justice4Clubs1 point

The amount of insects/amphibians that could come with this is plentiful. Things such as frogs, tadpoles, small lizards. It could also be a barrier for higher tier areas, almost as if it’s telling don’t come until you’ve reached this until you have a canoe or a boat of some sort. Great idea!1 point

I am a huge fan of this idea, definitely consider this, I think incorporating more aspects for traversal and just blending the landscape seamlessly could be very effective in a map that is 3x larger than grounded 1. Environmental/ecological features that assist the player in reaching destinations quicker but also look beautiful in the topography of the park is a welcome change for sure!!1 point

found a trick for giving our dogs medications-- chicken skin. one of our dogs requires multiple medications daily and she don't like taking meds. our dog is preternatural cunning about pill syringes/pillers and perhaps ironic, the chewable meds the vet prescribes is the worst as they is oversized and it is harder to disguise 'em as they has odor/flavour. am having tried hiding pills in any number o' foods, but the dog rejects the alloy o' pill + meat/cream cheese/whatever. commercial pill pockets is useless. however, am having noticed none o' our dogs meds is including microcapsules, so am able to mortar and pestle the pills into a powder w/o screwing up the med efficacy. we then combine the pills with a paste made from chicken skin. we remove chicken skin from thighs or breasts and then cook the skin in the oven at 375F until is dry and virtual all the fat has rendered. jaques pépin refers to the stuff as "chicken bacon" and he uses it in all kinda recipes, but for our purposes we make sure the rendered skin has no salt or seasoning added. the dry chicken skin may be crushed into a paste which retains only a little oil. a relative small amount o' the resulting chicken paste may then be combined with our powdered dog meds to form a tiny round "pill" which the world's most persnickety dog never rejects. dunno if anybody else has ever had trouble with dogs and meds, but for those who do, and if pill syringes/pillers don't work as advertised, the chicken skin option might be worth a try. takes a bit o' effort to mortar and pestle meds not to mention the chicken skin prep, but for those who has difficult canines... also, we made the stew o' violence and it is surprisingly tasty, particular if you like a bit o' sweet in your pork. we ordinarily shy away from sweet pork or beef offerings, but this were enjoyable as the sweet is not overpowering. red wine vinegar substitutes for kobold blood (we couldn't find kobold blood even at corti brothers,) and any dry red wine will work as a replacement for black currant wine. 3lbs o' pork shoulder is what we used 'stead o' boar. HA! Good Fun!1 point

We have experienced the same issue, except I was/am not the original host. My son created the world. (He lives in a different state btw, so not on the same ip or anything.) We played the first night for hours. We all (there were 3 of us playing) went to bed and then yesterday when I got home and tried to join his multiplayer save (he was in game) I couldn't even see it on the list to join. He quit the game and noticed he had an update/hotfix so he did that. Then when I tried to get on I started getting this same error. I even tired to host it myself since he had made me a host also for that world, and I got the same error message. I was able to do the verify and repair option and it finally let me play an earlier save of that world but I still can not join him while he is in the game. I sent in a support ticket but haven't heard anything as yet. I realize it is per-release but man this is annoying.0 points

Yea it makes no sense and my friends can’t even try to unshare and share the world with me since I am the original host so it had to have been the update they pushed out yesterday0 points
